Overview

Dream turns a written prompt and selected style into a painting in seconds, making it useful for quick visual exploration. The website also generates video from text or images, extending the same creative process to animation. Reference images and image editing offer additional ways to guide or adjust image creation.

The range of styles showcased on the website includes Baroque, Cartoon, Mechanical, Minimalism, The Cut, and Whimsical. These give users distinct starting points for a prompt, though the product’s commercial-use allowance remains limited. WOMBO says its content filters are intended to support user safety and comply with App Store policies.

Key features

Prompt-based paintings: Pair a description with an art style to create an AI painting in seconds. This works well for rapid ideation and stylistic exploration; creators who need broad commercial rights should choose a tool with usage terms that meet that need.
Reference images and editing: Reference images can guide generation, and image editing lets users work beyond the initial prompt. These options make Dream more flexible than a prompt-only workflow.
Video and photo animation: The website supports text-to-video and image-to-video. The iOS app listing also describes transforming photos into AI art and animating them into videos, a useful extension for people starting with their own images.
API access: The Dream API supports requests such as higher resolutions, custom aspect ratios, and generating many images at once. That makes it relevant to developers or workflows that need batch creation or output specifications.
Sharing: The iOS listing says users can share artwork with friends, family, and social media, which suits casual creation intended for circulation.

Pricing

Dream uses a freemium model. The Free plan is free and covers AI image and video generation, giving newcomers a way to try both formats before paying. A free trial is also available, including a 3 day free trial on the Standard Yearly plan.

Free: Free. A sensible starting point for occasional creation or evaluating the image and video tools.
Dream Premium (Weekly): custom pricing. Its weekly billing format may suit someone seeking a shorter commitment, but no price is provided.
Dream Premium (Monthly): 9.99 USD per month. This is the clearest paid option for regular use without an annual term.
Dream Premium (Yearly): custom pricing. It is the annual Premium option, but its cost cannot be compared with monthly billing.
Standard Yearly - 3 Day Free Trial: 99.99 USD per year, with a 3 day free trial. The annual commitment may suit sustained use, but it is a substantial term for anyone still deciding whether Dream fits their workflow.

WOMBO directs refund requests to its support team at support@wombo.ai. A subscription refund is eligible only if the subscriber generated no art during that subscription period, so trying the paid service may close off the refund route.

Platforms

Dream is available on Android, iOS, web, and through an API. The combination covers mobile creation, browser access, and programmatic use. Photo transformation and animation are described for iOS, while text-to-video and image-to-video are offered on the website.

Who it's for

Dream is a strong fit for casual creators and visual experimenters who want to turn prompts into styled paintings, work from reference images, or make short-form video from text and images. Its API is relevant to developers who need higher resolutions, custom aspect ratios, or batch generation. People whose work depends on broad commercial use should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pro: Prompt generation, reference images, and image editing support several ways to shape a result.
Pro: Text-to-video and image-to-video broaden the tool beyond still images.
Pro: Android, iOS, web, and API access accommodate both individual use and programmatic workflows.
Con: Commercial use is limited, which constrains its fit for work requiring broad usage rights.
Con: A subscriber is eligible for a refund only if no art was generated during the subscription period.
Con: The weekly and yearly Dream Premium prices are custom pricing, making those options hard to compare.
Con: On account deletion, personal account data is deleted on request, but likeness and images in animated generated videos continue to be stored in WOMBO’s database.

Verdict

Choose Dream by WOMBO for quick, style-led image creation with reference images, editing, and text- or image-driven video across mobile, web, and API workflows. Its free plan makes it approachable, but limited commercial use is the central reason professionals with broader rights needs should look elsewhere. Subscribers should also be comfortable with a refund rule that excludes anyone who generated art during the subscription period.
