Overview

Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Europe, DreamGF AI presents its AI-generated characters as entertainment. It is a better fit for adults seeking playful or calming conversations, casual check-ins or a character to shape over time than for anyone seeking interaction with real people. The 18-and-over restriction rules it out for minors.

Key features

Detailed character controls: Users can adjust appearance, personality, voice, hobbies, outfits and texting style. That breadth favors people who enjoy building a character around their preferences; those who only want a quick chat may not need so much control.
Persistent memory: Companions are described as remembering details across chats and sessions, supporting continuity when users return. The trade-off is that conversations are stored for memory and personalization.
Voice and media: Voice messages are described as emotionally expressive, with controls for tone and accent. Selfies, moods and surprise messages add variety beyond text, making the service more appealing to users who want different conversation formats.
Privacy and payments: The privacy policy says personal data and chat history are not sold, and describes encryption in transit and at rest, hardened infrastructure and strict access controls. PCI-compliant partners process payments, and DreamGF AI says it does not keep full card numbers on its servers. These safeguards do not change the fact that conversations are retained for personalization.
Account and usage rules: Most features require an account, and the terms prohibit bypassing usage limits. The service does not give a numerical cap here, so users who need predictable quotas should be cautious about relying on the free experience.
Support: The team says it replies within one business day, while in-app help is staffed seven days a week.

Pricing

DreamGF AI uses a freemium model and offers a free starting experience alongside paid plans. The Free plan is free; it is a way to begin without a listed charge, but most features require an account and usage limits apply. A free trial is offered, though its length and renewal terms are not given. There are no paid plan prices to compare, so readers who need a known ongoing cost should weigh that uncertainty before committing.

Platforms

DreamGF AI is available on Android, iOS and the web. Its responsive site also works on iPhone, Android tablets and modern browsers without installing an app, which gives mobile users a browser-based option. Voice conversations, persistent memory, proactive messages, extensive customization and image or video chat are included among its capabilities.

Who it's for

DreamGF AI is intended for adults aged 18 or older who want fictional AI companion conversations, whether for casual check-ins, playful or calming exchanges, or the creative process of designing a character. Its memory and customization make it especially relevant to users seeking a more ongoing, tailored interaction. It is not suitable for minors or for people who want conversations with real people.

Pros and cons

Pro — Broad customization: Appearance, personality, voice, hobbies, outfits and texting style can all be adjusted, giving character-builders more ways to shape a companion.
Pro — Continuity across sessions: Persistent memory can help conversations pick up over time rather than starting fresh each visit.
Pro — Multiple interaction formats: Voice, selfies, moods and surprise messages offer more than text chat alone.
Con — Conversations are retained: Chat history is stored for memory and personalization, which may not suit adults who prefer not to keep a record of their exchanges.
Con — Most features need an account: The free starting experience is not a fully account-free way to use the service.
Con — Usage limits are not numerically defined: The terms prohibit bypassing caps but do not give a number, making it harder to judge how far free access will go.
Con — Adults only: The service is restricted to users aged 18 or older.

Kindroid is another freemium option with a free plan and free trial. Its free plan sets out unlimited Lite messages, two Kindroids, limited selfie generation, a lifetime audio-character allowance and basic long-term memory, making it worth comparing if defined free-tier limits matter more than DreamGF AI's customization emphasis.
Nori focuses its free plan on daily conversations, basic memory and context, morning reflections, check-ins and mood tracking. Its Plus plan is 14.99 USD per month; choose it if that reflection and mood-tracking focus is a closer match.
Nomi AI offers a free plan, with a 40-credit one-time in-app purchase for 4.99 USD and a Launch Plan Monthly for 9.99 USD per month. Consider it if that credit-based purchase option better fits how you want to pay.
Kissable has a free plan with limited daily text messages, a daily kisses bonus and basic chat features. Its separate Free to Start option is also free with no card needed, so it may suit readers who prioritize a clearly described no-card entry point.
Paradot AI offers a free plan with a daily message allowance, one companion, basic memory and text chat; Plus is 9.00 USD per month with unlimited messages. Choose it if you prefer a defined companion and message allowance or a priced unlimited-message tier.
EVA AI offers a free Basic plan with limited access and a one-time 9.99 USD purchase of 500 Neurons. It may be a better fit if a one-time in-app purchase suits you, though free use may be denied at EVA AI's discretion.
Candy AI has a free plan and trial, alongside Premium — 12 Months at 3.99 USD per year, billed annually as €47.88 and displayed as €3.99/month. Consider it if you want to compare a published annual Premium price and its stated monthly token allowance and unlimited text messages.
Neo offers a free plan with 50 messages per day and core memory, plus Plus at 13.99 EUR per month with unlimited messages. It is worth comparing if you want a stated daily free cap and a priced unlimited-message plan.

Verdict

DreamGF AI is a strong fit for adults who want to design a fictional companion and keep conversations going across sessions, with voice and media options adding variety. Its main reasons to look elsewhere are the storage of chats for personalization, the need for an account for most features and unclear numerical usage caps. Choose it if those trade-offs are acceptable; consider another service if you need a predictable free allowance or prefer not to retain conversation history.
