Overview

EasyMoza walks you through choosing a main photo, selecting smaller photos as tiles, and creating the mosaic. You can download a low-resolution JPEG for free without an account, or share the mosaic through a copied link. That is a useful combination for a quick preview or online sharing; the free download is not the choice for a large print.

For higher-resolution output, XL and XXL codes unlock JPG downloads. The listed maximum print sizes are up to 120 × 120 for XL and 240 × 240 for XXL, depending on image ratio. Each code is valid for three months, while a created high-resolution mosaic is stored online for one month. Download a copy if you need to keep it longer.

Key features

Guided creation with custom tiles: EasyMoza’s three-step process keeps the task focused on the main image and the photos that form its tiles. Using your own photo collection gives the mosaic a personal connection to its subject.
JPEG downloads and sharing: A free low-resolution file covers previews, while paid codes unlock larger JPG output. A copied link provides another way to share the mosaic without relying only on a downloaded file.
Mosaic videos: One template is free, and three paid templates produce 1280 × 720 MP4s. The paid options run 40, 53 or 68 seconds; the first two include an outro option. Purchased videos are created within 24 hours of payment.
Data handling: Uploaded photos are used to create a mosaic and automatically deleted from the server within 14 days. High-resolution mosaics are stored for one month before deletion. EasyMoza says it takes appropriate measures to protect user data but does not guarantee against unauthorized access, alteration, destruction or loss.

The service requires a computer with at least 2 GB of RAM. Contact StepFox through its form or at info@stepfox.com for questions and complaints.

Pricing

EasyMoza uses a freemium model: a free low-resolution download, with higher-resolution output and video templates sold as one-time purchases. The free tier is enough for a preview or digital share, but it gives up the larger JPG files needed for bigger prints.

Free low resolution — free: Low-resolution mosaic download and online sharing. Best for previews and modest digital use, not large-format printing.
XL High Resolution — 595.00 USD per once: One XL code unlocks a big JPG, with maximum listed print sizes up to 120 × 120 depending on image ratio. The code is valid for three months.
XXL High Resolution — 995.00 USD per once: One XXL code unlocks a super-big JPG, with maximum listed print sizes up to 240 × 240 depending on image ratio. The code is valid for three months.
Slow Zoom Out xxl video — 2295.00 USD per once: A 1280 × 720 MP4, 40 seconds long, with an outro option.
Slow Build xxl video — 2295.00 USD per once: A 1280 × 720 MP4, 53 seconds long, with an outro option.
Particles xxl video — 2295.00 USD per once: A 1280 × 720 MP4, 68 seconds long.

Video purchases are created within 24 hours of payment. The listed code and retention windows matter if you need time to finish or retrieve a project: codes expire after three months, and high-resolution mosaics are kept online for one month.

Platforms

EasyMoza runs on the web, so there is no desktop installation to manage. Its stated computer requirement is at least 2 GB of RAM. The service supports sharing through a copied link; it is not presented as part of a third-party software integration.

Who it's for

EasyMoza suits people making a personal photo mosaic who value a guided process, want to share a result online, or need a paid JPG for printing. It is less suitable for anyone who needs a high-resolution file at no cost, prefers a local desktop workflow, or needs their uploaded photos and finished mosaic retained online for longer than the stated periods.

Pros and cons

Pros

Free start without an account: You can create and download a low-resolution mosaic without signing up, which lowers the barrier to trying the workflow.
Two paid print-size tiers: XL and XXL codes offer distinct maximum print sizes, so buyers can choose based on the intended output rather than paying for the largest option by default.
Multiple ways to share or present a mosaic: A copied share link, JPG downloads and optional MP4 templates address different ways of using the finished image.

Cons

The free download is low resolution: Anyone planning a larger print needs to buy an XL or XXL code.
Online retention is limited: Uploaded photos are deleted within 14 days, and high-resolution mosaics after one month, so keep local copies you want to preserve.
Computer memory is a prerequisite: The stated minimum of 2 GB RAM may rule out older or low-memory computers.

Alternatives

If you want a broader mosaic tool comparison, start with Photo Mosaic Software. Consider these alternatives if their platforms or pricing better match how you want to work:

Picture Mosaics Online Mosaic Tool is another web option, with free creation requiring an account and paid downloads, prints and video files; a personal SD video download costs 29.00 USD per once.

phomo is a free Python package and command-line utility for Linux, macOS and Windows; CUDA acceleration requires a compatible GPU and CUDA toolkit.
Pompei is a free, open-source Python package for Linux users.

Verdict

Choose EasyMoza for a guided, browser-based route from personal photos to a mosaic you can share or download as a larger JPG. Its free low-resolution option is useful for previews, and the XL/XXL split gives print projects a clear upgrade path. Look elsewhere if free high-resolution output, local desktop work, or longer online retention is essential.
