Overview

Record a video once, then create prospect-specific versions with AI voice and dynamic details such as a recipient’s name, company, and website. Videos are hosted, and engagement analytics show who watched, how long they watched, and where they stopped. That makes FirstPitch more than a recording tool: it connects outreach to follow-up signals, especially for teams already using its supported sales integrations.

Key features

Personalized video and recording

Camera, screen, or combined recording gives reps room to present themselves, a product, or both. A teleprompter helps keep a scripted pitch on track. FirstPitch also supports dynamic scenes and personalized calls to action, extending personalization beyond inserting a prospect’s name. The free tier has basic recording; screen-and-camera recording and the teleprompter are included with Pro.

Engagement and sales workflows

View analytics identify recipients, watch time, and drop-off points; real-time notifications can prompt a timely follow-up. HubSpot workflows can trigger video generation and write engagement data to contact records. Salesforce Flow Builder can trigger generation and log engagement as record activities. The Chrome extension supports recording and view tracking from Gmail, while LinkedIn integration inserts personalized video links into messages and tracks views.

REST API, MCP, and webhook support allow video generation and automation beyond those integrations, but API and MCP access are an Enterprise feature. Security provisions include SOC 2 Type II, OAuth 2.0, encryption in transit and at rest, key rotation, audit logs, and IP allowlisting. The privacy policy says personal information is not sold to third parties and describes access controls and regular security assessments.

Pricing

FirstPitch is freemium, with a free trial also offered. The Free plan costs $0 forever and permits five AI-personalised videos per month, with basic recording, standard landing pages, view analytics, and email support. It is a useful way for an occasional user to try the workflow, but five videos a month is too restrictive for sustained prospecting.

Pro costs $49/month and includes 100 AI-personalised videos per month, screen and camera recording, teleprompter, custom branded landing pages, real-time notifications, HubSpot and Salesforce integrations, and priority support. It is the natural fit for an individual rep; the monthly quota still matters for high-volume outreach.

Team costs $99/user/month and adds unlimited AI-personalised videos, team analytics and reporting, a template library, admin controls and permissions, SSO available, and a dedicated success manager. It is aimed at sales teams that need shared oversight and permissions, but per-user billing can make it a substantial step up from an individual subscription.

Enterprise has custom pricing for custom video volume, white-labeling and custom domains, API and MCP access, multi-workspace management, custom integrations, an SLA and uptime guarantee, a dedicated account team, and security review and compliance. Agencies and large teams needing those controls are the intended fit; smaller teams can get CRM-connected prospecting on Pro without moving to custom pricing.

Platforms

FirstPitch is available on the web, through an extension, and via API. The Chrome extension brings video recording and tracking into Gmail; API access is included with Enterprise. This combination suits teams that want both an inbox workflow and the option to automate prospecting, though the latter requires the top tier.

Who it's for

Individual outbound reps are best served by Pro if 100 personalized videos a month covers their cadence. Teams that need unlimited volume, shared reporting, permissions, or a success manager should consider Team and account for its per-user charge. Enterprise is better suited to agencies and large teams with custom integration, white-label, or security requirements. FirstPitch is a weaker fit for occasional users who exceed the free cap only rarely, or for buyers who need substantial monthly volume at a lower fixed cost.

Pros and cons

Pros: One recording can produce prospect-specific videos with AI voice and dynamic details, reducing the need to record each pitch separately.
Pros: Watch-time and drop-off analytics, plus real-time notifications, give reps concrete engagement signals for follow-up.
Pros: HubSpot and Salesforce workflows connect video generation and engagement to sales records.
Cons: Five personalized videos per month on Free is a narrow allowance for active outbound prospecting.
Cons: The 100-video Pro quota may constrain heavier individual use, while Team's unlimited allowance is priced per user.
Cons: API and MCP access sit behind custom-priced Enterprise, limiting those automation options for lower-tier customers.

Alternatives

Pick GLX Studio if a free story-builder preview or a $149.00 monthly Teams plan better matches the project; its Starter tier offers limited monthly credits and community support.

Gan.AI is worth comparing if a larger free allowance matters: its free plan includes 10 AI videos monthly, 100 generative credits, and 10 personalization credits. Its Creator plan is $24.00 per month with 20% off yearly billing.

Choose Impossible when running in your own cloud or on-premises is the priority; its listed usage options start at $0.04/min for own-cloud or on-premises and $0.07/min for at-volume cloud usage.

KoldFrame offers 50 rendered videos per month, public video pages, GIF and thumbnail generation, and CSV exports on its free plan; it may suit users whose needs center on rendered campaign assets and exports.

Babelee is a paid alternative with a €56.00 monthly Starter plan, automatically renewing with cancellation any time, for up to 2,000 personalized videos and up to 4,000 real-time video views.

Pulp’in offers a €0 forever trial with one template, 100 monthly views, no watermark, and no credit card; consider it if those trial terms fit a small evaluation.

1to1video charges one-time amounts for video-volume packages, which may suit buyers preferring a capped purchase over a monthly subscription.

Idomoo is another paid, web-based option to compare.

Verdict

FirstPitch is a strong choice for outbound reps who want repeatable personalized video tied to CRM engagement, and for teams that will use its reporting and workflow controls. Its clearest reason to choose it is the connection between video personalization, viewing signals, and sales records. Look elsewhere if five free videos will not suffice and $49/month or $99/user/month is hard to justify, or if API automation is essential without an Enterprise contract.
