Overview

Loxo combines candidate sourcing, recruiting CRM, applicant tracking, outreach, people data, and AI agents for recruiting and executive-search teams. It suits firms that want these workflows in one platform, particularly those that value AI-assisted search while keeping candidate decisions with a person. Its breadth is appealing, but paid plans require an annual commitment and Professional adds a pooled credit limit to manage.

Key features

Search and candidate data

Natural-language, relevance-ranked AI search comes with every plan, and Loxo says its talent graph contains more than 850 million people. Contact enrichment, bulk export, and candidate outreach extend the work beyond finding prospects. That combination is useful for sourcing teams seeking one system for discovery and follow-up; the size of the graph alone does not establish whether it fits a particular search.

Recruiting agents and human review

Loxo’s agents can assist with job intake, job-description and Skill DNA drafts, candidate longlists and shortlists, outreach, and other recruiting tasks. The workflow stops at the shortlist, leaving candidate decisions to a person. This makes the automation relevant to teams that want help preparing work without handing over the decision itself, though it is not a substitute for human evaluation.

Connections and access

The marketplace includes integrations such as Arrange, Indeed, Ringover, Workday, Greenhouse, HubSpot, Okta, and Zoom. Core includes a Chrome extension, while API access is a Professional feature. Teams should weigh those plan boundaries against how they need to connect Loxo to their existing processes.

Pricing

Loxo has a free plan and advertises a 7-day trial with full Professional access and no credit card required. Paid plans are billed annually and paid up front per user, so the monthly rate is not a month-to-month commitment.

Core: 149.00 USD per month (billed annually, paid up front; per user). It includes unlimited jobs, candidates, and companies, plus a Chrome extension. Free migration is included for teams with at least three seats; smaller teams get guided self-serve migration tooling. Core suits teams that need the core recruiting workflow and unlimited records, but it does not include Professional’s published monthly credit allowance or API access.
Professional: 199.00 USD per month (billed annually, paid up front; per user). It includes 2,500 credits per seat monthly, pooled across the team and refreshed each cycle; unused credits do not carry over. It is the better fit for teams that need API access and the included Professional allowance, but teams should consider whether their pooled monthly use fits that cap.
Enterprise: custom pricing under custom annual agreements. It adds SSO/SAML, advanced governance, advanced roles and permissions, a dedicated success team, and priority support. It is aimed at organizations that need those controls and support rather than a published per-user rate.

Platforms

Loxo supports web, API, and extension access. API access is a Professional plan feature, and the Chrome extension is included with Core.

Who it's for

Loxo is best suited to recruiting and executive-search firms that want sourcing, relationship management, applicant tracking, outreach, and AI assistance together. Its combination of human-reviewed shortlists and workflow agents may also suit teams that want automation to prepare candidates without delegating final decisions. Teams with strict governance needs should consider Enterprise; smaller teams should compare Core’s per-seat annual cost and migration options with their seat count.

Pros and cons

Pro: Natural-language AI search is included in every plan, so it is not reserved for the higher paid tiers.
Pro: Agents can help across job intake, drafting, candidate lists, and outreach, while candidate decisions remain with a person.
Pro: Core includes unlimited jobs, candidates, and companies; teams with three or more seats also get free migration.
Con: Core and Professional are per-user rates billed annually and paid up front, making the commitment important for teams with changing seat needs.
Con: Professional credits are pooled, capped at 2,500 per seat monthly, and expire at the end of each cycle, requiring teams to plan usage.
Con: API access is a Professional feature, so teams needing it must choose a more expensive tier than Core.

Verdict

Choose Loxo if your recruiting or executive-search team wants candidate search, recruiting workflows, and agent assistance in one platform, with a person making the shortlist decisions. The main reason to look elsewhere is the annual per-user commitment, compounded on Professional by pooled, non-carrying credits; teams needing API access or enterprise governance should account for the tier required.
