Overview

FrontCore brings a Training Management System (TMS) for courses, participants and training operations together with a Learning Management System (LMS) for course management and video training. Providers can choose plans for either need, with supported workflows spanning scheduling, registration, attendance and certification tracking, instructor management, waitlists and automated reminders. That operational reach makes it a more natural fit for providers coordinating recurring programmes than for organisations seeking only a basic course library.

Key features

Training operations

The TMS covers course and delegate management, booking and routine automation. Its booking solution and registration and payment forms support the path from publishing a course to managing participants. Higher plans add customer and instructor management, orders, digital certificates, assessments, evaluations, checklists, resource planning, reports and dashboards. This progression lets providers pay for more operational depth as their needs grow, though the entry plan is limited to publishing, forms and email campaigns.

Learning and integrations

The LMS includes video training and AI tools to generate quizzes, transcribe lectures and create subtitles. Learners can access and deliver courses on mobile, and FrontCore describes the LMS as GDPR-compliant. Integrations include Zapier, HubSpot, Moodle, Xledger, Thinkific, Visma.net, Xero, Fortnox, SuperOffice and Google Calendar. An API and ready-made connectors support data syncing; custom integrations can be discussed with the company. The combination is useful for providers connecting training operations to other business systems, though the available plans and participant caps matter when choosing an LMS tier.

Pricing

FrontCore advertises a 7-day trial in its pricing note and a 30-day free trial for its training management solution. TMS plans also require a startup investment for training and configuration; its price varies by plan and turnover. That initial cost can make the entry monthly price less representative of the cost to get started.

LMS Start is free for up to 30 participants and includes all features, making it a no-cost way to serve a small learner group. LMS Mini is 42.00 GBP per month for up to 300 participants, LMS Pro is 83.00 GBP per month for up to 700, and LMS Premium is 125.00 GBP per month for up to 1500; each includes all features. Paid LMS plans add an engagement fee of £0,8 per active user, so the monthly plan price is not the full cost when learners are active. Enterprise has custom pricing for more than 1500 participants.

TMS Start is 60.00 GBP per month and includes website course publishing, registration and payment forms, email campaigns and unlimited users. It suits providers needing a basic public booking workflow, but not the deeper participant-management tools. TMS Mini is 200.00 GBP per month and adds participant management, corporate training, differentiated pricing, own-domain email and two-factor authentication. TMS Pro is 240.00 GBP per month and adds digital certificates, email templates, Quick Booking and an email log for 14 days minimum.

TMS Premium is 280.00 GBP per month, adding assessments, course evaluations, customer and instructor management, and orders. TMS Enterprise is 350.00 GBP per month and adds routine automation, checklists, resource planning, advanced reports and dashboards. TMS Corporate is 630.00 GBP per month and adds multiple currencies, multilingual adaptations and a global KPI view. These higher tiers are aimed at providers with increasingly complex delivery and reporting needs; smaller operators may not need to pay for that breadth.

Platforms

FrontCore supports web, Android and iOS, alongside API access. That combination accommodates desktop administration, mobile learner access and system-to-system data syncing.

Who it's for

FrontCore is built for professional training providers, including commercial and growing providers and organisations delivering certification or compliance training. It is particularly compelling when one service needs to cover course administration as well as learner-facing delivery. A provider that only needs a small LMS can start free, while one with substantial enrolment should account for paid-plan engagement fees and participant limits.

Pros and cons

Broad training workflow coverage: Scheduling, registration, attendance, certificates, instructor management, waitlists and reminders address the work around delivering courses, not just hosting content.
Plans scale by operational complexity: TMS tiers add capabilities from participant management through automation, resource planning and global KPI reporting, so buyers can match the plan to their processes.
Free LMS entry point: LMS Start includes all features for up to 30 participants, offering a practical starting point for a small learner group.
Costs need careful accounting: TMS customers face a variable startup investment, while paid LMS plans add £0,8 per active user; the headline monthly fees alone do not capture these charges.
Lower TMS tier is narrow: TMS Start handles publishing, forms and email campaigns, while participant management begins at TMS Mini, priced at 200.00 GBP per month.

Alternatives

For a focused course-evaluation tool, Coursecheck offers Essentials from 38.00 GBP per month (+ VAT) for up to 50 training events per year; choose it when course feedback is the priority rather than combined training administration and delivery. IASystem is another option for institutions wanting a one-term campus pilot license free, with paid enrollment-category pricing at 1.59 USD per year.

For a survey-first choice, Qualtrics has a free individual plan limited to one user, three active surveys, 30 questions per survey and 500 total responses. SmartEvals has a free Lite option for schools currently using paper that want an on-the-go version. For a no-cost course-survey option, High-Resolution Course Feedback supports a course survey with a roster, custom questions and an admin list.

QuestionPro offers a free Essentials plan with one user, 200 responses per survey and 30 question types, making it a fit for buyers focused on survey limits and question formats. EduAdmin is another training-management alternative to compare. For more options, see Course Evaluation Software and Training Management Software.

Verdict

Choose FrontCore if you are a professional training provider that wants course operations and learner-facing delivery in one service, with plans that extend from a small free LMS to advanced TMS workflows. Look elsewhere if the startup investment or per-active-user LMS charge undermines the economics, or if you need only a narrower evaluation or survey tool.
