Overview

Ganttic’s pricing is based on planned resources rather than user seats, and every plan allows unlimited users. That makes it easier to involve colleagues without adding a per-seat charge, but the resource ceiling—not the number of people on the account—sets the practical boundary of the free option.

The planner can cover people as well as rooms, machinery, vehicles and equipment, so it can suit organizations coordinating shared physical assets alongside project work. It is less compelling for teams that need API access without paying, since the free plan excludes it.

Key features

The online Gantt chart offers resource and task perspectives, with drag-and-drop scheduling. Teams can organize work around either the assets available or the tasks to complete. Time blocking, recurring tasks and workload planning support ongoing scheduling; reports and Kanban boards give users additional ways to review work.

Google Calendar and Outlook syncing, Zapier integrations and an API provide routes to connect planning with other workflows. API access comes with paid plans; trial users can request access to evaluate it. Customizable Owner, Admin and User permissions help separate responsibilities, while an account History Log provides an activity record.

Ganttic says it hosts the service on AWS servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and is GDPR compliant. Its stated security measures include AWS WAF protection, TLS 1.2 encryption, annual third-party penetration tests and backups four times daily. Email support, help materials and free unlimited personalized support demos give teams several ways to get assistance.

Pricing

Ganttic offers free and paid plans, with costs tied to the number of resources planned rather than users. That structure benefits teams with a broad audience but a limited resource pool; it becomes less attractive as the pool grows.

Free — 0.00 USD per free, billed monthly: up to 10 resources, unlimited users and projects, Gantt charts, reports and Kanban boards. It is a credible option for individual planning or a small business that can remain within the cap. API access is excluded.
PRO 20 — 25.00 USD per month, billed monthly: up to 20 resources, unlimited users and projects, all features and API access. It fits teams that need more than 10 resources or require the API, though the 20-resource ceiling still matters for larger operations.

The 14-day trial includes all features, unlimited resources and users, and does not require a credit card. That gives teams room to evaluate a larger setup before choosing a plan. Ganttic also presents a Free Resource Planner at 0.00 USD per free for 10 resources or less, with unlimited users and all features except API access.

Platforms

Ganttic supports web, iOS and Android. Its mobile app extends access to Apple and Android devices, while the web planner is the central visual scheduling workspace. API is also listed as a platform, but API access is a paid-plan feature, subject to trial users requesting access.

Who it's for

Ganttic suits companies across industries that need to coordinate project portfolios and schedule people or shared assets. It is particularly well matched to teams whose many users can share a pool of 10 or fewer resources, where unlimited seats make the free plan useful. Teams with larger resource needs can consider paid access, while organizations requiring API integration should account for the free plan’s exclusion.

Pros and cons

Pro: Unlimited users across plans avoid seat-based expansion costs when a team needs broad access.
Pro: Resource and task perspectives cover both asset availability and work scheduling, including physical resources beyond staff.
Pro: Calendar syncing, Zapier and paid-plan API access provide several integration paths.
Con: The free plan stops at 10 resources and does not include API access, limiting its usefulness for growing resource pools or API-dependent workflows.
Con: PRO 20 raises the limit only to 20 resources, so teams planning more than that will need to assess their options beyond the stated plan.

Alternatives

Consider Teamdeck if a per-team-member allowance is a better fit: its free Startup plan covers up to six team members, and it supports Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows as well as API access. Choose Tempo Portfolio Manager if its project-and-task allowances suit your portfolio better: the free plan covers 10 members, three projects and 300 tasks, while Essentials is 15.00 USD per month for one user.

Smartsheet is an option for readers who want a paid product with a 9.00 USD per month Pro plan billed at $9 per Member/month yearly or $12 per Member/month monthly, and a broad set of listed platforms including desktop and mobile. Scoro may suit readers considering a paid platform whose Time-billing plan is shown at 17.00 USD per month, with Track and Invoice apps.

eResource Scheduler offers paid resource-based options, including Authentication Plus at 2.00 USD per month per resource/mo and Scheduling Plus at 3.00 USD per month. Teambook is worth considering if project-based add-ons are preferable, with Timesheet and Capacity add-ons each at 1.00 EUR per month per project.

Tempus Portfolio has custom pricing tailored to planning needs, team size and implementation goals. Kelloo is another paid alternative.

Verdict

Choose Ganttic when a team needs to schedule people and physical resources together and wants unlimited users without seat-based pricing. Its strongest case is a shared planner for a relatively small resource pool; the 10-resource free cap and paid-only API access are the clearest reasons to look elsewhere or move to a paid plan.
