Overview

HeyGiGi brings together games, brain-science material, stories, films, practical tools and community experiences. Its daily format offers one rotating game, a Daily Spark and a selection of articles, videos or activities, giving users a reason to return without making the product solely a chatbot. The approach suits people who prefer varied, bite-sized learning over a single long course.

GiGi can hold conversations, remember context, recommend relevant content and guide users through structured lesson plans. Role-play and lesson-plan functions are Premium modes, so the free experience is more limited than the full coaching concept. Conversations are for adults aged 18 and over. GiGi is not a therapist, clinician, diagnostic service or crisis service, which makes it inappropriate for urgent support or clinical assessment.

Key features

Daily activities and learning

Visitors can try one game a day, up to three games a week, the first Learning Journey milestone, plus free articles and videos. A free account adds a Daily Spark and supporting progress features such as streaks, gems, XP, a leaderboard, badges, Toolkit access, search and a recent archive window. That is enough to establish a routine, though the archive restriction makes the free tier less useful for revisiting older material.

AI coaching

Free accounts receive ten GiGi messages per day. Premium raises the daily allowance and adds the coach’s lesson-plan and role-play modes, making the paid tier the better fit for users who want guided practice rather than occasional questions. Conversation memory can make ongoing work more coherent, but the service remains educational rather than clinical.

Privacy and support

The maker says it does not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Signed-in conversations remain on the user’s account until deleted and are sent to an AI provider contractually barred from training its models with those messages. Users can download their data or delete their account in profile settings. The operator says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and administrator access requires a second factor. Accounts support Google, Apple, or email-and-password sign-in, while support can be contacted without an account and answered by email.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes
Free	0.00 USD	Daily game, Daily Spark, streak, gems, XP, leaderboard, badges, Toolkit, search and a recent archive window; ten GiGi messages daily.
Premium monthly	9.99 USD per month	Billed monthly; full archive, custom Toolkit lists, GiGi Premium modes, a larger daily message allowance and 300 gems each period.
Premium annual	99.99 USD per year	Billed once yearly, about 8.33 USD a month; the same Premium features with 5,000 gems each period.

A seven-day trial gives prospective subscribers a short period to assess the paid modes before renewal. Free is the sensible option for light, regular prompts and introductory content. Monthly Premium suits users who want flexibility, while annual Premium costs less per month and supplies a much larger gem allocation for sustained use.

Platforms

GiGi is available on the web. That makes it straightforward to use from a desktop or mobile browser, but there is no stated native Android or iOS app access.

Who it's for

Choose GiGi if you are an adult seeking structured self-help activities, educational material and an AI conversation partner in one membership. It is particularly suited to people working on everyday emotional or relationship skills who value recurring daily prompts. Look elsewhere if you need a licensed professional, diagnosis, crisis intervention or support for someone under 18.

Pros and cons

Pros

More than a chatbot: games, Daily Sparks, media and practical tools support several styles of learning.
Useful free starting point: daily activities, a Learning Journey milestone and ten messages per day allow meaningful trial use without payment.
Premium depth: lesson plans, role-play, full archive access and custom Toolkit lists better support an ongoing practice.
Clear account controls: data download and account deletion are available from profile settings.

Cons

Not clinical care: the service cannot replace therapy, diagnosis or crisis support.
Adult-only conversations: GiGi’s chat experience is restricted to users aged 18 and over.
Free archive limits: the no-cost tier is less suitable for returning to older material.
Web only: users seeking a dedicated mobile app will need another service.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison of conversational mental-health products, see AI Mental Health Chatbots.

Mithra by MannSetu is the better pick if you want Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows access alongside text and voice allowances.

Choose Clare if scheduled calls and messages, including a free local-time window, matter more than GiGi’s educational library.

Psychia suits users who prioritise unlimited text conversations on its Lite plan and can accept a smaller conversation history.

Dr. Riya by Mindtalk is a free option across iOS, Android and web that explicitly avoids diagnosis, prescribing and therapy.

Pick Thrive AI for an iOS-focused chatbot with blogs and self-assessments, while its free tier excludes AI-guided exercises.

Mentis is preferable when mood, energy and sleep tracking, journaling and CBT activities are central to your routine.

Noa by Anshap offers its core features at no cost on Android, iOS and web.

Blue Fever is a free iOS and macOS alternative.

Verdict

GiGi is a strong fit for adults who want a varied, structured self-help routine with an AI coach and optional Premium role-play and lesson plans. Its free tier makes the concept easy to explore, while Premium adds the archive and guided depth that regular users are most likely to need. Look elsewhere for clinical care, crisis support, under-18 conversations or a native mobile app.
