Overview

HedgePoint is an AI-powered FX risk platform for treasury teams and FX advisers, including small teams that need to organize trade confirmations and assess currency exposure. It is strongest as a tool for analysis and hedge planning; teams should weigh the unfinished integrations and 12-month paid-plan minimum before committing.

Key features

The parser accepts PDF, SWIFT and email trade confirmations, extracting more than 15 trade fields. That breadth can cut manual handling when confirmations arrive in different formats. Exposure views bring together entities, counterparties and more than 100 currency pairs, with forecasting and file import; trade execution is not supported, so HedgePoint does not replace a route for placing trades.

The dashboard combines live mark-to-market valuations and FX rates with position charts and activity notifications. Planning tools include an AI Treasury Manager, policy drafting and documentation, a trade playbook, hedge simulation and back testing. These features make the product more than a reporting view, but its focus remains analysis and preparation rather than execution.

HedgePoint says it encrypts data at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3, uses AWS KMS-managed keys, and hosts on AWS EU (Ireland) with tenant-level data isolation. It also says parser documents are not used to train AI models and that AI providers operate under zero-retention API agreements. The company states that it is GDPR compliant, offers a DPA and keeps immutable audit logs for every action. These are relevant safeguards for sensitive treasury records; teams should still assess them against their own compliance requirements.

Integrations are under construction and described as coming soon. That is a material limitation for teams expecting HedgePoint to connect with existing treasury systems now. The service is cloud-based and web-accessible. Weekday phone support runs from 9am to 6pm GMT, with business-day responses within 24 hours.

Pricing

The Free plan is free and includes 6 of 38 features. It gives prospective users a no-cost starting point, but its small feature count makes it a limited basis for judging the broader paid offering.

Starter costs £2,500.00 per month, billed monthly, with a 12-month minimum and 14 of 38 features. It is the entry paid tier for teams that can work within a narrower feature set and accept a year-long commitment. Growth costs £5,900.00 per month on the same minimum and covers 28 of 38 features; 26 are available today and two are once released. It offers a broader toolkit, though some of its stated coverage is not yet available.

Professional is £10,900.00 per month, billed monthly with a 12-month minimum. It covers 32 of 38 features, with 27 available today and five once released. Institutional costs £15,900.00 per month on the same terms and covers all 38 features, but 30 are available today and eight are once released. The higher tiers therefore promise wider access, while a meaningful share of their feature counts remains pending.

Bespoke Development has custom pricing, with features and access agreed with a Portfolio Manager. Prices are exclusive of VAT. A 24-month option reduces cost by 25% per annum, trading a lower annual cost for a longer commitment. No seat or usage quotas are stated in the plan terms above.

Platforms

HedgePoint is available on the web and deployed in the cloud. Exposure data can be imported by file. The lack of available integrations is the key platform constraint for teams seeking an already connected workflow.

Who it's for

HedgePoint suits treasury teams and FX advisers that want to turn confirmations into exposure views and support hedge planning, including small teams of two. It is a weaker fit for organizations that need trade execution or working integrations as part of the same platform, or that cannot justify a 12-month minimum for paid access.

Pros and cons

Pros: Parses PDF, SWIFT and email confirmations into 15+ trade fields, helping consolidate varied trade records.
Pros: Combines exposure views across more than 100 currency pairs with forecasting, simulation and back testing.
Pros: States specific encryption, isolation, AI data-handling and audit-log safeguards for sensitive treasury data.
Cons: Integrations are still under construction, limiting fit for teams that need connected systems today.
Cons: Paid plans require at least 12 months, and even Institutional has eight features marked for later release.
Cons: Trade execution is not included, so the platform cannot complete the transaction workflow.

Alternatives

Foreign Exchange Management Software is a useful place to compare a wider set of FX management options. Consider CNS Treasury if a 90-day full-platform free trial without a credit card is a better way to evaluate fit. Deaglo FX Risk Management is an option for teams seeking an API and web product with custom pricing tailored to client size and complexity. CompuHedge is another paid API and web option with a free trial. TreasuryView may suit smaller requirements: its Finance Team - Start plan is €250.00 per month, cancel anytime, for one currency, up to 50 loans and interest-rate derivatives, and one company including subsidiaries. FIS Data Integrity Manager is a paid web alternative. Hedgebook offers an API and web product with a corporate licence from USD250 (GBP200) per month. UnRısk offers a Windows 30-day trial license after a personalized product demonstration. Kantox is an API and web enterprise alternative with pricing not stated publicly.

Verdict

HedgePoint is best for treasury teams and FX advisers that value document parsing, broad exposure analysis and planning tools more than immediate system connectivity or trade execution. Its main reason to choose is the breadth of analysis and preparation in one platform; its main reason to look elsewhere is the combination of unfinished integrations and a year-long paid commitment, especially when many higher-tier features are still pending.
