Overview

The platform brings video creation and editing together with interactive campaigns, sales pages, video flows, viewer insights, and team reports. That combination is useful when video is part of an ongoing customer or sales process, rather than a one-off recording. Text-to-video can turn written material, presentations, PDFs, or blog posts into videos, while engagement tracking and follow-up workflows connect viewing to next steps.

Hippo Video states that it is a SOC 2 Type II certified service provider. Its pricing page advertises worldwide 24x5 live support and lists chat and email support, with priority support on higher plans. The pricing FAQ also sets a 200 GB monthly bandwidth limit and says users will be notified if they exceed it; teams with heavy video traffic should account for that ceiling.

Key features

Content creation and editing: Text-to-video works from text, PPTs, PDFs, and blogs. AI editing can remove filler words, enhance highlights, and adjust gestures. These tools help repurpose business material and refine recordings, though they do not by themselves establish a full production workflow.
AI avatars and voiceovers: Users can create interactive avatars and voiceovers in more than 30 languages. That makes the platform relevant for teams adapting video for varied audiences.
Interactive campaigns: Polls, quizzes, calls to action, and forms can be added to videos. Combined with viewer insights and follow-up workflows, they are aimed at eliciting and tracking responses rather than simply sharing a clip.
Sales workflow and integrations: Personalized campaigns, sales pages, video flows, and team reports support coordinated outreach. Listed integrations include Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Zoom, Zapier, Freshworks CRM, and Salesforce, a useful range for teams already working in those tools.

Pricing

Hippo Video uses a freemium model, with a free plan and a 7-day trial. The published plans cover distinct workflows, and their video-flow, caption, and personalized-video quotas matter as much as the headline price.

Plan	Price and terms	Included allowances
Free	0.00 USD per free, billed monthly	2 Video Flows, 10 minutes of closed captions, and 50 automated personalized videos
Pro	20.00 USD per month, billed annually	5 Video Flows, 30 minutes of closed captions, and 100 automated personalized videos
Teams	60.00 USD per month, billed annually	15+ Video Flows, 200 minutes of closed captions, and 300 automated personalized videos
Enterprise	80.00 USD per month, billed annually; minimum 10 seats	Unlimited custom Video Flows, unlimited closed captions, and 500 automated personalized videos
Starter	24.00 USD per month, billed annually; $29/user billed monthly	Per user, 10 video downloads or shares per month, single-user workspace, and $5 for each video creation
Creator	69.00 USD per month, billed annually; $89/month/user billed monthly	Per user, 30 video downloads or shares per month, multi-user workspace, and video translation

Free is a measured starting point, but its two flows and 50 automated personalized videos make it a limited fit for sustained outreach. Pro raises those allowances to five flows and 100 videos; Teams is the more substantial step for teams needing 15 or more flows and 200 caption minutes. Enterprise removes flow and caption caps but still caps automated personalized videos at 500 and requires at least 10 seats.

Starter and Creator are priced around downloads or shares and workspace size, with a separate $5 charge for each Starter video creation. Creator adds a multi-user workspace, more monthly downloads or shares, and translation. These tiers may suit creators with those needs, but the separate plan structure and quotas call for checking that the chosen allowance matches the team's workflow. Custom Avatar and Custom Theme each cost 1000.00 USD per once, billed one-time, for customizable avatars and a brand-tailored theme. The pricing page also describes Mac and Windows desktop applications and iOS and Android mobile applications.

Platforms

Hippo Video supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, web, and a browser extension. Desktop and mobile apps give teams options beyond the web interface, while the extension provides another access point for browser-based work.

Who it's for

It is best suited to sales and customer-facing teams that want personalized video, interactive response elements, engagement tracking, and CRM-connected follow-up in one workflow. Teams repurposing written material into multilingual video may also value its text-to-video and avatar tools. It is less compelling for users who only need basic recording or sharing, or for organizations whose expected usage would routinely exceed plan quotas or the monthly bandwidth limit.

Pros and cons

Pro: Creation, interactive campaigns, sales pages, viewer insights, and follow-up workflows sit in one platform, which suits coordinated video outreach.
Pro: Text-to-video, multilingual voiceovers, and editing tools support repurposing and adapting business content.
Pro: The free tier provides a way to begin without a paid subscription, and integrations include major email, CRM, sales, and meeting tools.
Con: Free and mid-tier plans restrict flows, captions, or automated personalized videos, so the practical capacity depends on the chosen tier.
Con: Starter charges $5 for each video creation and limits monthly downloads or shares; users need to budget for both the subscription and usage.
Con: Enterprise has a 10-seat minimum, and the 200 GB monthly bandwidth limit remains relevant for high-volume use.

Verdict

Hippo Video is a strong fit for sales and customer teams that want to create personalized videos, make them interactive, and track engagement through follow-up workflows. Its creation tools and integrations give it breadth, but capped allowances, Starter's per-video fee, and the monthly bandwidth ceiling make plan selection important. Look elsewhere if simple recording is the main need or if the quotas do not match expected volume.
