Overview

Recruiters set scoring criteria; Hyring then produces an overall score, skill ratings, a fit level and a transcript. That common framework can make an initial review more consistent across a large candidate pool, although the output depends on the criteria the hiring team sets and should inform, not replace, recruiter judgment.

Teams can choose asynchronous interviews or live sessions. In live interviews, the AI selects follow-up questions based on a candidate’s answers, adding responsiveness without requiring every first conversation to be interviewer-led. This is a practical capacity tool, rather than a full substitute for human assessment.

Key features

Scored interviews and integrity signals

Hyring flags potential risks such as tab switching, screen sharing, identity and face checks, audio anomalies, and AI-generated or plagiarized answers. Those signals can direct a reviewer’s attention, but should not be treated as conclusive evidence by themselves.

Languages, integrations and security

The product supports 11 interview languages, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Polish. Pro includes core ATS integrations; Business adds all 24 ATS integrations and an API. The named integrations include Greenhouse, BambooHR, Ashby, Breezy, JazzHR, Freshteam, ADP, SAP and Tracker.

Hyring states that it is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 compliant, handles candidate data in line with regulations including GDPR, and encrypts interviews with access controls. Those safeguards will matter to teams assessing candidate-data handling, while Enterprise adds data residency and SSO.

Pricing

Hyring has a free plan and a free trial. Each AI video interview uses one credit, and additional credits are sold separately in packs, so the monthly allowance may not cover a hiring surge.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Free	0.00 USD per free	50 credits per month, 1 seat, 1 active job post, English only and 1 AI voice.
Pro	79.00 USD per month	50 credits per month, 5 seats, 10 active job posts, AI avatar, all 11 languages and core ATS integrations.
Business	239.00 USD per month	50 credits per month, 15 seats, unlimited job posts, all 24 ATS integrations, API and priority support; 45-minute interviews and retention up to 90 days.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Custom credit volume, SSO, data residency, a dedicated customer success manager, custom SLAs and white-glove onboarding; priority support with SLA.

Free can suit a small team testing a narrow English-language workflow, but one seat and one active job post limit its usefulness for ongoing hiring. Pro is the entry point for teams that need five seats, more job posts and multilingual interviews; it still has 50 monthly credits. Business raises the seat and job-post ceilings and expands integrations, but keeps the same listed credit allowance, so interview volume may still bring separate credit purchases. Enterprise is the fit for organizations needing custom volume or controls, at custom pricing.

Platforms

Hyring is available on web and Windows. It supports both live and asynchronous interviews and interview recording.

Who it's for

Hyring is aimed at teams with more candidates than interviewer hours. Its combination of structured screening and flexible interview modes is especially relevant to high-volume, campus, staffing, technical, healthcare and frontline hiring. Smaller teams with few interviews or only one active role may find the free plan adequate, but larger workflows should weigh seats, credits, language needs and job-post limits together.

Pros and cons

Pros: Live and asynchronous formats give teams options for gathering candidate responses at scale.
Pros: Recruiter-set criteria produce scores, skill ratings, fit levels and transcripts that support a consistent initial review.
Pros: Eleven languages and named ATS integrations can accommodate multilingual hiring and established recruiting workflows.
Cons: The free plan is English-only, limited to one seat and one active job post, and includes just 50 credits per month.
Cons: Pro and Business also include 50 credits per month, with extra credits purchased separately, which may constrain high interview volumes.
Cons: Business raises the job-post allowance to unlimited but has a listed longest retention period of 90 days and 45-minute interviews.

Alternatives

For broader recruiting needs beyond interviewing, compare AI Recruiting Software. If video interviewing is the main requirement, browse Video Interviewing Software and Video Interview Software; for analysis around interviews, see Interview Intelligence Software.

Tellability is another freemium option, with a free pilot offering 50 credits per month, three active job postings and 50 candidate unlocks per month. Choose it when those sourcing and matching allowances better fit the task than Hyring’s interview-centered workflow.

Pin has a free plan with five contact lookup credits per week, one job position, one AI Agent and email-only sequences; it is an alternative for contact lookup and email outreach rather than video interviews.

Hirin is another option to consider. Blosto has paid plans starting at 125.00 USD per month billed annually, with one seat and 250 shortlist credits per month on Starter. It is worth comparing when shortlist credits and AI candidate search matter more than interview scoring.

Diplotix offers a Growth plan at 1999.00 INR per month with 20 active jobs, AI matching, ranking signals, fit scoring, search and recommendations. It may be a better fit when matching and recommendations across active roles are the priority.

Loxo is another recruiting platform to compare. Interviewer.AI has a paid Essential Edition at 199.00 USD per month billed monthly, with 50 interview credits per month, three job posts per month, 20-minute interviews and 15 total user licenses. Teams comparing interview products may weigh those allowances against Hyring’s 50-credit plans and different seat limits.

Scope has a free plan that includes automated sourcing, basic project management, manual CSV export, five contact reveals and 10 w. It is an alternative to consider for a sourcing-led workflow.

Job seekers can also browse AI Job Search Tools.

Verdict

Hyring is a strong fit for hiring teams that need a structured first interview across a large candidate pool, particularly when live adaptive interviews, asynchronous screening or multilingual support can save interviewer time. Its scored reports and range of hiring workflows make the case; teams should look elsewhere if they need higher included credit volume, or if the free plan’s single seat, single active role and English-only limit does not fit their process.
