Overview

Lawn Snow App is a service-management platform for lawn care, snow removal, and seasonal-service companies. It suits owners who want one system for office, crew, and customer workflows. Its broad operational coverage comes with per-stop costs that can matter as paid work grows.

Key features

The Owner Dashboard and Command Center connect customer and property records with jobs, service plans, requests, crews, reports, documents, maintenance records, payment visibility, onboarding imports, and customer follow-up. That breadth makes it useful for businesses coordinating recurring service as well as individual jobs, rather than only dispatching crews.

The crew portal gives crews assigned jobs, status updates, time tracking, job notes, completion tools, and approved documents through the Crew Pocket Library. The customer portal lets customers review upcoming and completed unpaid work, submit requests, see customer-visible notes and credits, and use the payment flow when processing is active. These role-specific workflows can help keep field work and customer requests connected to office operations.

Supported work ranges from mowing and snow removal to seasonal cleanup, weed treatment, fertilizing, mulch, irrigation checks, estimates, and recurring plans. Route planning, crew scheduling, property management, service logs, invoicing, and a client portal round out its operational scope. The Field Guide provides audio walkthroughs for the owner, crew, and customer portals and onboarding uploads. A Partner can upload a company backup or export, complete onboarding review, and start with a populated Command Center.

Processor settlement and overage allocation are not modeled in the payment walkthrough. That is a meaningful constraint for operators who need those details represented in their payment planning.

Pricing

The free Starter plan has no monthly software fee, but charges $2.90 Internal LSA Cost per Paid Service Stop when paid or marked paid. Optional automated tax calculation costs $1.00 per tax-calculated invoice. It is a low-commitment way to start, but frequent paid stops can make its transaction-based cost substantial.

Core costs $85.00 USD per month, or $900/year, equivalent to $75/month when billed annually. It reduces Internal LSA Cost to $1.00 per Paid Service Stop and includes reports, requests, jobs, service plans, documents, and maintenance workflows; automated tax calculation remains an optional $1 per tax-calculated invoice. Core is the more plausible fit for an established operator that needs these workflows and expects the lower stop charge to offset the subscription.

Scale costs $350.00 USD per month, or $3,960/year, equivalent to $330/month when billed annually. Its per-stop cost is $0.25, with optional automated tax calculation at $1 per tax-calculated invoice. It is aimed at higher-volume payment workflows, where the lower charge per stop may justify the higher fixed fee. Starter, Core, and Scale can earn a Longevity Bonus of up to 50% of eligible Internal LSA Cost based on credited Active Months. Standard Stripe Fees apply; the customer-facing LSA Fee is capped at $7.50 per paid invoice when recovery is enabled.

Platforms

Lawn Snow App supports Android, iOS, and web access. It runs in a browser on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops, so crews and customers can use their portals without an app-store install. Crew access is emailed when an owner deploys work; customers receive a secure portal link in service emails and invoices.

Who it's for

Consider it if your lawn, snow, or seasonal-service business needs shared owner, crew, and customer workflows, especially across recurring and one-time jobs. The tiered per-stop costs make payment volume central to choosing a plan. It is a weaker fit if you require payment modeling that includes processor settlement and overage allocation.

Pros and cons

Pros: Owner, crew, and customer workflows cover operations from job assignment through customer requests and payment flow.
Pros: Browser access across common device types avoids requiring portal users to install an app.
Pros: Onboarding imports can populate the Command Center from a company backup or export.
Cons: Starter charges $2.90 per Paid Service Stop, so the no-monthly-fee plan is not cost-free at meaningful paid volume.
Cons: The payment walkthrough does not model processor settlement or overage allocation.
Cons: Automated tax calculation adds $1 per tax-calculated invoice.

Verdict
