Overview

Founded in 2012, iLeasePro is offered as a cloud-based, multi-user service with automatic updates and backups. The company targets private US companies managing 25 to 500 leases, although its plans also cover smaller portfolios. It combines lease accounting with portfolio records, documents, contacts, alerts, and financial analysis rather than focusing on compliance reports alone.

Implementation is positioned as brief: SMART import can get users started in under five days, and most implementations take less than a week. Phone support runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST; email responses typically arrive within 24 business hours.

Key features

Accounting and ledger workflows

A FASB Classification Wizard, automated journal entries, amortization schedules, and financial disclosure reports give finance teams a broad lease-accounting workflow. The platform includes ASC 842 compliance reporting and supports both accounting standards. It can connect with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, and other ERP or general-ledger systems, and can provide ledger-agnostic journal entries. Sage Intacct web-services integration synchronizes general ledger, dimensions, and payables; Excel export offers a simpler route for moving data out.

Portfolio administration and analysis

A centralized portfolio, document library, contact management, and automated critical-date notifications help teams keep lease records and deadlines together. Financial analysis includes side-by-side comparisons, what-if scenarios, cash-flow reporting, and more than 50 standard reports. That breadth is useful for comparing lease choices and reviewing portfolio performance, though the smallest plan's basic reporting is a limited starting point.

Security and access

iLeasePro states that it is SOC 1 Type 2 certified, receives bi-annual security audits, and provides role-based access controls and audit trails. Auth0 integration supports single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, social logins, and user authentication and authorization. These controls suit teams that need access governance and traceable activity across multiple users.

Pricing

The free Starter plan is billed forever at 0.00 USD per free and allows up to five contracts, with document upload, critical-date alerts, basic reporting, and unlimited users. It is a useful low-risk way to keep a very small portfolio organized, but the five-contract ceiling makes it unsuitable for the 25-to-500-lease teams the company targets.

iLeaseXpress costs 149.00 USD per month for up to 15 leases. It includes ASC 842 compliance, Excel export, email support, a 15-day free trial, no setup fees, and cancellation anytime. The trial requires no credit card and provides full access to the selected plan's features. This is the lowest paid entry point, but its lease cap and email-only support make it a narrower fit than the larger tiers.

The Essential plan costs 240.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for up to 50 contracts. Professional costs 480.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for up to 150 contracts. Enterprise costs 960.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and covers up to 500 contracts; portfolios above 500 require a custom quote. Enterprise includes 10 hours of support. These tiers scale capacity for larger portfolios, but the price rises sharply with each step, so the right choice depends on contract count and whether the broader platform is needed.

The iLeasePro plan has custom pricing based on portfolio size, selected features, and contract term. It includes unlimited leases, document and portfolio management, more than 50 reports, Sage Intacct integration, virtual support, and five free support hours. It is the option to consider when the capped plans no longer fit, but buyers should weigh the custom quote and contract term against their requirements.

Platforms

iLeasePro runs on the web. Its cloud delivery, automatic updates, and backups avoid a self-hosted deployment, while Auth0-based authentication options support different access practices.

Who it's for

iLeasePro is a strong fit for private US companies that need lease accounting, portfolio administration, compliance reporting, and ledger workflows in one system—especially teams within the 25-to-500-lease range. Smaller organizations with five or fewer contracts can start free, but companies needing more than 15 leases will have to move beyond iLeaseXpress. It is less compelling for buyers seeking a low-cost, unrestricted plan or a platform outside the web.

Pros and cons

Pro: Accounting workflows extend from classification through journal entries, amortization, and disclosure reporting, supporting more than basic lease tracking.
Pro: Portfolio tools, alerts, scenario analysis, cash-flow reporting, and over 50 reports bring administration and financial review together.
Pro: Sage Intacct synchronization and ledger-agnostic journal entries accommodate different accounting setups.
Con: Starter stops at five contracts, while the first paid option is capped at 15 leases, creating a meaningful step for growing portfolios.
Con: Larger tiers become substantially more expensive, and portfolios above 500 contracts require a custom quote.
Con: The platform is web-only, so it does not suit teams that require a listed desktop or mobile app.

Alternatives

Prophia Lease Administration is worth considering for a free AI-only option: Prophia Abstract covers around 20 essential lease terms without human review. Choose it when that narrower abstraction task is more important than iLeasePro's accounting and portfolio workflows.

PLINTH is a better fit for small property operators who want rent tracking, a tenant portal, maintenance requests, and lease alerts; its Small plan is $7.00 USD per month for up to five doors. Its listed focus differs from iLeasePro's lease accounting and compliance workflow.

EMS Academic Scheduling, IRIS Practice Engine, Lease Harbor, MRI Property Management X, VTS Lease, and CRE Lease Matrix are also alternatives to compare.

Verdict

Choose iLeasePro if your company needs lease accounting and administration in one web platform, particularly when compliance reporting, ledger integration, and portfolio analysis all matter. The five-contract free tier is genuinely useful for a tiny portfolio, but the sharp capacity and price increases make it a harder recommendation for cost-sensitive teams that expect to grow beyond the entry plans.
