Overview

Give Yanvara a plain-language travel prompt or use guided setup to set destination, dates, travellers, budget, pace and interests. It creates dated days with route flow, accommodation and transport suggestions, activities, restaurants, weather context, walking distance and estimated daily costs. That detail can give a trip a practical shape before reservations are made, rather than leaving travellers with a loose collection of places to visit.

The suggestions are not bookings. Accommodation, flight, transport and activity links go to partner sites such as Booking.com, Trip.com, Viator, GetYourGuide and Holafly. Yanvara does not book hotels or flights directly or store booking payment details, and it may earn affiliate commissions on some bookings. That separation is a drawback for anyone who wants planning and purchasing in one service, but keeps reservations with the booking partners.

Key features

The AI trip planner turns one prompt into a complete itinerary, and Pro adds chat-based refinements for a day, event or booking while preserving the surrounding trip context. That can help when one part of a schedule changes without requiring a fresh plan. The free tier is more constrained: one AI trip generation per month, though that single trip can be refined as often as desired.

Packing is connected to trip days, activities and weather. Free users get a simple checklist; Pro adds weather-aware recommendations organized around cubes and pouches, plus buy-before-you-go reminders. The upgrade is more useful for travellers managing varied activities or conditions than for someone who only needs a basic reminder list.

Saved trips can be shared through view-only links that open in a browser without an account. Pro users can invite collaborators by email to plan on the same itinerary, making the paid tier a better fit for families or groups who need to contribute rather than just view. Shared pages expose the itinerary outline, destination and preview image, not account, email or billing details.

Pro also includes the Near-you concierge, with local places, opening hours, contacts, walkable afternoons and weekend getaways. Mobile apps provide offline trip access, push reminders and this concierge; the web version is a progressive web app. Free exports are PDFs, while Pro adds email itinerary summaries and email export.

Pricing

Yanvara uses a freemium model, with prices in US dollars. The free plan is free and includes one saved trip, one AI trip generation per month, a simple packing checklist, view-only sharing and PDF export. It is a reasonable way to build and share one plan, but the saved-trip and generation caps limit its usefulness for repeat travellers.

Yanvara Pro costs 5.00 USD per month, billed monthly, or 39.00 USD per year, billed annually at $3.25/mo. Both paid options include unlimited trips and generations, AI chat refinements, advanced packing, collaborator invites and the Near-you concierge. Monthly billing suits travellers who want those tools without an annual commitment; annual billing lowers the monthly equivalent for people planning trips throughout the year. The Pro trial gives every new account seven days at no charge and requires no credit card.

Web billing uses Stripe, while iOS subscriptions use Apple's App Store billing. Monthly Pro can be cancelled anytime through Stripe; cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, with Pro access continuing until then.

Platforms

Yanvara is available on the web and has native iOS and Android apps. Offline trip access and push reminders make the mobile apps useful on the move, while the web version supports planning without installing an app. The service also offers map view, calendar export and booking links.

Who it's for

Yanvara is aimed at first-time travellers, families planning together and repeat travellers who want saved preferences and a structured plan without assembling every detail manually. The free plan can serve someone organizing one trip; Pro makes more sense for ongoing use, AI revisions, packing guidance or shared planning. It is a weaker fit for travellers who need direct reservations or want a free plan without a one-trip cap.

Pros and cons

Detailed day-by-day plans: Route flow, weather, walking distance and estimated costs give the itinerary useful context beyond a list of activities.
Useful free starting point: One saved trip, a monthly generation, view-only sharing and PDF export cover the basics without a subscription.
Pro supports evolving group plans: AI refinements and collaborator invites let paid users revise and coordinate one itinerary.
Reservations remain external: Booking links send travellers to partner sites, so Yanvara cannot complete hotel or flight purchases itself.
Free use is tightly bounded: One saved trip and one monthly generation may be insufficient for people planning several trips.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, browse AI Travel Planners. Packy AI is another freemium option with Android, iOS, macOS and web access; its free plan is limited to one destination, three days and one traveller, so it may suit a short solo itinerary.

Layla offers a free app with no subscription fee for users, who pay for travel they choose to book; consider it if that payment model is preferable. TripBuddy is free across Android, iOS and web, with every trip, day and crew size included, making it an alternative for groups seeking a free plan without Yanvara's one-trip cap.

Navly offers iOS and macOS access, a free AI planning assistant with map and location context, and a 24-hour Day Pass for 2.99 USD that does not renew automatically. Stippl is another freemium choice on Android, iOS and web; its free plan includes unlimited trips, destinations, activities, co-planners, expenses and journal entries, plus AI generation, PDF export and calendar sync.

SMOVECITY is a free Android and iOS option with planning, routing and an AI Buddy; bookings through partners may earn it a commission. NxVoy Trips has Android, iOS and web access, with a free plan capped at five chats and 50 messages per session. Itinica supports Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web and Windows; its free plan includes unlimited trips, decks, cards and collaborators, one AI trip generation per month, five AI chat messages per month and PDF export.

Verdict

Choose Yanvara if you want one service to turn a travel brief into a detailed itinerary, connect packing to the trip, and support collaboration on Pro. Its free plan is a useful way to organize one trip, while the no-card trial lets new users try Pro for seven days. Look elsewhere if you need direct hotel or flight bookings, or if a free plan must support multiple saved trips.
