Overview

Janney AI is designed to take influencer programs from finding suitable partners to executing campaigns and reviewing results. Its coverage spans TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, so a team can work across those channels in one system rather than maintain separate discovery and campaign tools.

The freemium structure makes initial research accessible. Search, pagination, similar-creator lookup and profile viewing do not consume credits. Contact reveals and other takeout actions do, however, creating a practical divide between researching a prospect and obtaining the information needed to approach one. Teams with frequent outreach should therefore evaluate credit consumption before committing to a plan.

Key features

Discovery, outreach and negotiation

AI-powered matching is paired with automated outreach and negotiation. That combination is useful for agencies and in-house teams that need to move from a broad creator pool to active conversations without switching products. It is less compelling for a user who only needs occasional research, since the value of automation depends on using enough contact and campaign capacity.

Campaign execution and measurement

Campaign tracking, performance analytics and creator payments cover the operational stages after selection. Included tracking records views, likes and comments once per day for up to 90 days. That cadence supports a consistent short-term review, but campaigns needing a longer post-campaign view or substantially more tracked content require Custom terms.

Email, API and security

Gmail and Outlook appear as email integrations, helping teams connect outreach with common mail services. Growth and Custom include a REST API and hosted MCP server. Janney positions the API for agency dashboards, CRMs, data pipelines, marketplaces and AI agents built around creator search, making those plans more relevant to organizations integrating creator data into their own systems.

Janney says it applies technical and organizational safeguards to personal information, while acknowledging that no security can be guaranteed absolutely. It says personal information is not sold and may be shared with service providers, business partners with consent, or when legally required.

Pricing

Free

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD and is billed monthly, with 10 one-time credits. It suits evaluation, occasional discovery and teams that want to inspect profiles before paying. The one-time allowance is not a sustainable outreach budget, and self-serve support means less assistance when work becomes operational.

Starter

Starter is 99.00 USD per month, billed at $99/month. It provides 300 credits each month, up to five seats, priority email support and content tracking priced at 0.05 credits per post per day. This is the sensible entry point for a small marketing team running regular campaigns, but the seat cap and monthly credit ceiling can constrain a growing agency or a program with many tracked posts.

Growth

Growth costs 299.00 USD per month, or $199/month when billed annually ($2,388/year). It includes 900 contact credits per month, unlimited team seats, the REST API, hosted MCP, and priority AI processing and support. The plan fits larger teams and organizations embedding Janney in internal tools; its higher recurring commitment is difficult to justify for light usage.

Custom

Custom starts at 15,000.00 USD per year, billed from $15,000/year. Custom allowance, client-level workspaces, custom integrations, longer tracking windows and larger tracking volume target agencies and enterprise programs with more demanding governance and reporting needs. It is unnecessary for teams that can operate within Growth's credits and 90-day tracking period.

A free trial is available, and the product also has a free plan, allowing teams to assess the workflow before taking on a paid subscription.

Platforms

Janney is offered through the web and an API. The API and hosted MCP server are included with Growth and Custom, while web access supports the core discovery and campaign workflow.

Who it's for

Brands, agencies and marketing teams scaling influencer partnerships are the clearest audience. Starter fits a small group that needs recurring outreach; Growth is better for larger, integrated teams; Custom is aimed at client-by-client agency work and high-volume tracking. A researcher needing only creator profiles can remain on Free, while a program requiring extensive contact reveals should budget for paid credits.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad workflow: Matching, outreach, negotiation, tracking, analytics and payments are combined for teams that want one operating process.
Cross-network discovery: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube coverage supports campaigns spanning the major creator channels.
Low-risk exploration: Core search and profile viewing are free, so users can qualify prospects before using credits.
Integration headroom: Growth and Custom add an API and hosted MCP for dashboards, CRMs, data pipelines and AI agents.

Cons

Credits govern action: Contact reveals and other takeout actions consume credits, limiting how quickly free research can become outreach.
Finite standard tracking: Daily metrics stop at 90 days unless a Custom plan is arranged.
Starter ceiling: Five seats and 300 monthly credits may be restrictive for expanding teams.
Enterprise cost: Custom begins at $15,000 per year, placing advanced workspaces and tracking beyond smaller budgets.

Verdict

Janney AI is a strong fit for brands, agencies and marketing teams that want creator discovery, outreach and campaign measurement in one cross-network workflow. Its free research layer and Growth integrations are persuasive reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if your outreach volume exceeds the credit model, if you need tracking beyond 90 days without a Custom contract, or if your work is too small to justify recurring paid capacity.
