Overview

Employers can post jobs and search a database of more than two million resumes on the free basic plan. Jobvertise says jobseekers add those resumes directly to its site, giving recruiters a straightforward account of where profiles originate. Employers can also collect applications and automate job posting with an XML-formatted file Jobvertise downloads through a web link; fees may apply depending on job quantity and quality.

Paid promotion distributes jobs to partners including Glassdoor, JobG8, and Jooble, and gives them higher priority and bold display in Jobvertise search results. That makes promotion a useful upgrade for employers seeking reach beyond an ordinary listing, but it does not expand the free plan's resume-view limits.

Key features

Resume search and candidate contact

Paid plans include recently posted resumes, resume attachments, emailed resume alerts, and phone numbers where available. Standard and Pro also provide direct email addresses where available. These additions suit recruiters who need more ways to follow up; Starter includes the other paid resume-search additions but not direct email addresses.

PERM evidence and privacy

PERMTrack supplies timestamped posting evidence and an audit-ready PDF bundle. Audit Defense Gold adds daily screenshots and a six-year evidence repository, making this a specialized option for employers managing PERM documentation.

Jobvertise says passwords are encrypted so the company cannot decrypt them, and employer email addresses submitted through forms remain private. It also says it shares a hashed email and some site activity with CoverClicks to generate marketing interest signals, with an opt-out. Its online ordering page encrypts data in a manner it compares with online banking. Phone support is available at 888-388-JOBS, alongside an online contact form.

Pricing

Jobvertise is freemium, with a free plan and paid monthly tiers. Free allows three resume views per day and five days to view applications. That is enough to explore the service or handle occasional hiring, but the daily cap and short application window will constrain sustained recruiting.

Plan	Price	Limits and included access
Free	Free	3 resume views/day; 5 days to view applications
Starter	39.99 USD per month	50 resume views/day, max 500/month; 2 promoted jobs; 30 days to view applications
Standard	69.99 USD per month	100 resume views/day, max 1,000/month; 5 promoted jobs; 60 days to view applications
Pro	109.99 USD per month	150 resume views/day, max 1,500/month; 10 promoted jobs; multiple users sharing one login; 180 days to view applications

Starter is the lowest paid option for modest hiring volume, but its 500 monthly-view ceiling and 30-day application access may be limiting. Standard doubles the resume-view allowance and application window, and adds direct email addresses where available. Pro raises the caps and window again and permits multiple users to share one login, though it is not a separate seat-based setup. The yearly rate is discounted for advance payment, and sales are final with no refunds; employers should account for that commitment before choosing the annual rate. A free trial is offered.

Platforms

Jobvertise is a hosted web service. It supports employer accounts, application collection, and candidate job alerts; payment options include both types.

Who it's for

Jobvertise can serve independent recruiters as well as large corporations, and jobseekers can use its job and resume posting and search services. It is a particularly sensible starting point for employers who want resume search at no cost, then need paid access to more profiles, longer application windows, or promoted listings. Employers who need high-volume access beyond the plan caps or separate user logins should weigh those limits before committing.

Pros and cons

Pros

No-fee employer starting point: employers can post jobs and search more than two million resumes without a fee.
Promotion extends beyond Jobvertise: promoted jobs reach partners including Glassdoor, JobG8, and Jooble, and stand out in Jobvertise results.
Useful hiring workflow options: application collection, XML job imports, and candidate alerts cover several parts of the process.
PERM documentation support: timestamped evidence and, with Audit Defense Gold, daily screenshots and a six-year repository address a specific compliance need.

Cons

Resume searches are capped: even Pro has a 1,500-per-month maximum, so employers with heavier search needs may hit a ceiling.
Application access varies by tier: the free plan allows only five days, while Starter allows 30 days.
Annual payment carries risk: the discounted yearly rate is paid in advance and sales are final.
Shared login on Pro: multiple users share one login rather than receiving individual seats.

Verdict

Jobvertise is a strong fit for employers and recruiters who want a free way to search a large resume database, with paid promotion and expanded candidate access as hiring needs grow. Its clearest drawbacks are capped monthly resume views, short application-access windows on cheaper tiers, and nonrefundable advance payment for the discounted yearly rate. Choose it when those limits match your hiring volume; look elsewhere if you need more flexible access or distinct user seats.
