Overview

The service gives employees a central stream of ready-to-share material while letting managers measure who shared, where, and with what reach. It is a sensible fit for organizations formalizing an advocacy program rather than simply sending occasional links, especially when HR data needs regular synchronization and campaign results must be reported by department or channel.

Key features

Marketing can publish approved posts, register a live post by URL, target employee groups, and send alerts through email, WhatsApp, or Telegram. Employees connect their own LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube accounts, so the six-network coverage accommodates mixed workforces without forcing everyone onto one channel. Content approval provides a control point before material is distributed.

Management reporting spans employees, departments, and channels. Earned Media Value is shown per post, and comment insights add context beyond share counts. Active posts are those being shared and refreshed with new reach nightly. There are no per-employee or per-share fees, which makes usage more predictable as activity grows within a plan's capacity.

Participation tools include configurable score weights, leaderboards, badges, levels, and prizes. Periods can be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly, allowing recognition to match a campaign or a longer program. Gamification can increase visibility for an advocacy initiative, but competitive rewards are a better fit for organizations that have already agreed how participation should be recognized.

BambooHR, Personio, and Workday support automatic daily roster synchronization; other HR systems can be handled with manual CSV import. Keepface says employee records are treated as personally identifiable information and that offboarded records are purged after a configured retention period. It also says program data stays in the customer's tenant and employee data is not sold. OAuth-authenticated API calls protect share records, while per-network rate limits restrict gaming. GDPR-related controls include encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logs, and transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK transfer addendum.

Pricing

Free — free, billed Forever. This includes 3 active posts, 5 employee seats, the post library with review, a leaderboard, analytics, and departments. It is useful for a pilot or very small advocacy group, but five seats and three active posts leave little room for a broad launch.

Starter — $78.00 per month, or $655 billed yearly ($55/mo when billed yearly). It raises capacity to 15 active posts and 25 seats, adds add-by-link boost, gamification with prizes, and all six networks. Choose it when a small marketing team needs a real multi-network program; the lower price means giving up Growth's deeper analytics, automation, and enterprise controls.

Growth — $480.00 per month, or $4,032 billed yearly ($336/mo when billed yearly). Its 60 active posts and 200 seats support a substantially larger workforce. EEMV and comment analytics, AI captioning and scheduling, audit log and CSV export, HRIS sync, and SSO justify the jump for teams running ongoing, governed programs rather than occasional campaigns.

Enterprise — custom pricing. It removes active-post and seat limits and includes everything in Growth, plus a dedicated customer success manager, custom onboarding, and an SLA. It is the tier for unlimited-scale deployments that require service commitments. Every paid plan includes a free trial, although no trial duration is stated.

Platforms

Keepface Employee Advocacy is delivered on the web. Employees publish through connections to six social networks: LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Who it's for

It is best for marketing, communications, and HR stakeholders coordinating advocacy across departments, especially where BambooHR, Personio, or Workday synchronization and SSO matter. The Free plan suits a proof of concept; Starter fits a small organized program; Growth is the practical choice for hundreds of seats and richer governance. Teams wanting a simple individual sharing tool, mobile-first experience, or no seat growth should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros

Six social-network connections let employees share from their existing accounts.
Department, channel, EEMV, and comment reporting supports accountable campaign measurement.
HRIS sync has no extra cost, with CSV fallback for other systems.
Configurable rewards and leaderboard periods support structured participation programs.
No per-share or per-employee fees make costs easier to forecast.

Cons

The free tier's five seats and three active posts are suitable only for a small pilot.
Starter lacks Growth's EEMV/comment analytics, AI tools, audit log, CSV export, HRIS sync, and SSO.
Enterprise pricing is custom, so larger deployments require a sales conversation.
The product is web-only, which may not suit teams expecting native mobile apps.
