Overview

Legistry AI is a legal operations platform for organizations that need more than contract review, particularly in-house legal teams coordinating compliance or procurement work. Its broad workflow coverage is appealing, but the free tier’s small monthly quotas and the paid plans’ annual-billing price framing deserve close attention.

Alongside contract analysis and drafting, it supports obligation tracking, portfolio search and reporting dashboards. It is offered through web, API and self-hosted platforms, with hybrid deployment also indicated.

Key features

Contract review, drafting and signing

Legistry AI rates contract risk on a 1–10 scale, flags clauses, extracts six clause categories and suggests negotiation points. Template-based drafting and multi-party e-signatures with OTP or MFA verification extend it into execution. Signed documents are retained for seven years and come with a certificate of completion. That range suits teams seeking one place for recurring contract work; organizations processing more than a modest volume will need to weigh the plan quotas.

Compliance and vendor assessment

Compliance monitoring filters regulatory changes against an organization profile, identifies policy gaps and turns them into prioritized tasks. Professional includes rule-based scanning, while Business adds hybrid AI and Perplexity compliance. Business also evaluates vendors across security, financial stability, compliance, operations and reputation, and can generate NDAs and security questionnaires. Those additions make Business the more relevant tier for procurement and compliance teams, rather than a legal group focused solely on review.

Integrations, security and AI

Per-organization OAuth connects Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack and Google Drive; plan-specific integration access varies. The platform says it encrypts stored data with AES-GCM, applies organization-scoped role-based access, supports exportable audit logs and redacts PII before AI API calls. Its stated AI stack uses GPT-4o-mini for primary legal reasoning, Claude 3.5 Sonnet as fallback and Perplexity Sonar for live research. These measures and architecture are relevant to teams assessing data handling, though they do not replace an organization’s own security review.

Pricing

Legistry AI is freemium, with a free plan and paid plans shown from $49/user/mo (annual). The monthly price figures below are paired with higher monthly-billing prices, so teams should distinguish the annual-rate headline from month-to-month cost.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Free	Free	Up to 3 users, 5 contracts/month, 10 AI calls/month, OTP e-signatures and 1 GB storage.
Professional	49.00 USD per month (billed $59/user billed monthly)	Up to 15 users, 50 contracts/month, 100 AI calls/month, unlimited e-signatures, rule-based compliance scanning, Slack plus one CRM integration and 10 GB storage.
Business	99.00 USD per month (billed $119/user billed monthly)	Up to 50 users, 200 contracts/month, 500 AI calls/month, hybrid compliance, vendor AI risk assessment, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot and Clio integrations, GDPR tools, approval workflows and 50 GB storage.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Unlimited users, contracts and AI calls, SSO/SAML, a dedicated account manager, a custom SLA with 99.9% uptime, private cloud or on-premises deployment, and optional white-labeling.

Free is a useful small-team entry point, but five contracts and ten AI calls a month make it a poor fit for sustained review work. Professional raises those caps and adds unlimited e-signatures, but its 15-user ceiling, 50-contract quota and single CRM connection may limit growing teams. Business is the more capable option for heavier volumes and cross-functional workflows, although its 200-contract monthly cap remains finite. Enterprise is the fit for organizations requiring unlimited usage, SSO or private deployment, with custom pricing.

A free trial is offered. Teams can buy 100 extra AI calls for $29 or 10 GB extra storage for $9/mo; API access on Professional costs $199/mo. Obligation tracking, clause extraction, portfolio search, reporting dashboards and API access are supported capabilities, but API access carries that stated Professional add-on price.

Platforms

Web, API and self-hosted options give teams flexibility in how they access or deploy the platform; hybrid deployment is also indicated. Enterprise specifically includes private cloud or on-premises options, making it the clearest fit for organizations that require that deployment route.

Who it's for

Legistry AI is best suited to legal teams with repeat contract workflows that also need compliance monitoring or vendor assessment. Startups can begin on Free, while compliance officers and procurement teams have a stronger case for Business’s vendor assessment and approval workflows. Teams with very low contract volume may find the free caps workable; those with high volume or strict deployment needs should consider Business or Enterprise rather than assume the entry tiers will scale.

Pros and cons

Pros: Contract risk scoring, clause extraction, drafting and verified multi-party signing cover several stages of contract work.
Pros: Compliance gap tasks and vendor assessment extend the platform’s value to compliance and procurement teams.
Pros: Enterprise offers unlimited usage, SSO/SAML and private deployment options for larger organizations.
Cons: Free allows only five contracts and ten AI calls per month, limiting its usefulness beyond light evaluation.
Cons: Professional is capped at 15 users and 50 contracts monthly, and Business at 50 users and 200 contracts.
Cons: The annual paid-plan headline and the higher monthly-billing prices require careful budget comparison; Professional API access is an additional $199/mo.

Alternatives

Choose Legartis if its one-seat free tier for two NDA reviews a month and its German, English and French support better match a small team’s needs.

Obligant is worth comparing for teams that prioritize unlimited users: its free plan includes three contracts and all features, while Starter is 9.99 GBP per month for ten contracts.

Consider PactSeal if its Explorer allowance of one user, ten contracts and ten extractions is a closer fit; its Core plan is listed at 150.00 EUR per month.

Robin AI is another paid option with a free trial, available as a browser extension and on the web.

VigiloIQ is an API and web option for buyers prepared to contact sales for pricing; features and usage limits vary.

Contractzy is an alternative with a free trial and API, self-hosted and web platforms; its Essentials plan allows up to three users and 50 contracts a month.

Qeluntra offers a free plan for one entity and one power user, which may suit a narrower entity-based setup.

ThoughtRiver is a paid option with a free trial, available through API, browser extension, web and Windows.

Verdict

Legistry AI is a strong candidate for legal operations teams that want contract review, drafting, signing, compliance and vendor checks in one platform. Its main advantage is that breadth; its main drawback is that modest quotas and a pricing structure spanning annual and monthly billing can complicate fit and budget. Choose it when those connected workflows matter, and look elsewhere if you need generous entry-tier usage or simpler price terms.
