Overview

LinkAssistant is software for finding link prospects, contacting them, monitoring acquired backlinks, and reporting on link-building campaigns. It is best suited to SEO professionals and digital marketing teams that want those tasks in one workflow. The free plan can support a small project, but its 1,000-prospect cap makes Professional the more workable choice for larger prospect lists.

Key features

Prospecting and evaluation

More than 10 search methods let users look for opportunities by location, niche, and search-results-page type. Competitors’ backlink profiles can also surface targets, including through broken-link building and backlink-gap techniques. That breadth is useful when a team needs to build prospect lists from different angles, rather than rely on a single search approach.

Users can assess prospects by InLink Rank, domain age, organic traffic, Page Authority, and indexed-page count. These signals provide several ways to prioritize a list, but they do not replace a campaign-specific judgment about whether a site is a good fit.

Outreach and monitoring

Contact discovery, customizable email templates, and tracking for sent emails, replies, and follow-ups help keep outreach organized. LinkAssistant also checks whether acquired links remain in place and can flag a removal or a nofollow tag. That makes it useful beyond initial prospecting, especially for teams that need to keep an eye on placements after outreach succeeds.

Reporting

Customizable, white-label reports suit teams that need to present link-building work under their own brand. Enterprise adds the ability to save, email, and schedule reports, as well as export to CSV, SQL, and HTML. These additions matter most for recurring client reporting or workflows that move data into other tools; the less expensive plans do not include those Enterprise reporting and export options.

Pricing

LinkAssistant uses a freemium model, with an ongoing free plan and annual paid plans. All three plans include 10 prospect search methods and project saving, but the free license is capped at 1,000 prospects per project.

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Free	0.00 USD per free	10 prospect search methods, 1,000 prospects per project, project saving, and reports.	A small project or an initial look at the workflow, provided the prospect cap is sufficient.
Professional	129.00 USD per year	10 prospect search methods, unlimited prospects per project, project saving, and reports with watermarks.	Practitioners with larger lists who can accept watermarked reports.
Enterprise	259.00 USD per year	10 prospect search methods, unlimited prospects per project, report saving, emailing, and scheduling, plus CSV, SQL, and HTML export.	Teams that need recurring report delivery or export options.

Professional removes the free plan’s prospect cap, but its reports carry watermarks and it does not include Enterprise’s report delivery and export options. Enterprise costs more, so its extra reporting controls are worthwhile chiefly when those capabilities are part of a regular workflow. A free trial is available. The company also provides support by email at support@seopowersuite.com.

Platforms

LinkAssistant supports Linux, macOS, and Windows. The company’s history page says founders Aleh Barysevich and Viktar Khamianok built the first LinkAssistant app for link building and outreach in 2004. Its privacy policy identifies Techfusion LTD as the data controller and says personal data is not sold.

Who it's for

SEO professionals, digital marketing companies, website owners, and web developers working on search optimization are among the audiences the company serves. LinkAssistant is a stronger fit for people who need a broad link-building workflow—from finding and qualifying prospects through outreach, monitoring, and reporting—than for someone who only needs to track backlinks or manage a narrower part of outreach.

Pros and cons

Pros

Several routes to prospects: Search methods by location, niche, and SERP type complement competitor-backlink, broken-link, and backlink-gap research.
Campaign coverage beyond discovery: Contact finding, email and follow-up tracking, and backlink verification keep outreach and post-placement checks in the same workflow.
Room to scale prospect lists: Professional and Enterprise remove the 1,000-prospect-per-project limit on the free plan.
Client-oriented reporting: Customizable, white-label reports are supported, with scheduled delivery and multiple export formats on Enterprise.

Cons

The free plan is capped: 1,000 prospects per project may be too restrictive for sustained or larger-scale prospecting.
Professional reports are watermarked: Teams needing client-ready branding or report scheduling and delivery may have reason to move up to Enterprise.
The reporting step-up is substantial: CSV, SQL, and HTML export, along with report saving, emailing, and scheduling, are Enterprise-only.

Alternatives

Consider Link Building Software for a broader comparison of tools in this category. Authoritas Link Building is another freemium option, with free and paid plans and API and web platforms; its free plan includes two domains, 1,000 keyword rank credits per month, and one user. BacklinkManager is another freemium alternative. GuestPostCRM offers a freemium model and paid plans that include user seats, credits, AI tasks, and automated reminders. Linkody may suit readers focused on monitored backlinks: its Webmaster plan is 13.90 USD per month for two websites, 500 monitored links, and one user. Respona is a paid alternative with per-placement plans, including a Starter at 100.00 USD per once for publishers with DR 20+ and monthly traffic of 100–5K. MentionAgent is a paid option with a Starter plan that includes one site, one sending inbox, up to 1,200 outreach emails per month, and 5,000 credits per month. ColdSEO has a free plan with one connected inbox, 50 prospect credits and 100 email sends per month, plus one active campaign. JustReachOut is a paid alternative with a monthly Starter Outreach plan for one team member and one brand, including 100 email sends per month and journalist search and pitch tools.

Verdict

LinkAssistant is a strong choice for SEO practitioners and agencies that want prospect research, outreach management, backlink checks, and reporting together, especially when they need more than the free plan’s 1,000 prospects per project. Choose Professional for uncapped prospect lists at 129.00 USD per year; choose Enterprise at 259.00 USD per year when scheduled report delivery and export are essential. Look elsewhere if your needs are limited to backlink monitoring or outreach alone, or if watermarked Professional reports and Enterprise-only reporting tools do not fit your budget or workflow.
