Overview

Golfers can book, record rounds, keep digital scorecards, enter competitions, follow leaderboards and connect with friends. Round recording and GPS maps work on courses around the world, extending the app beyond a player’s home club. An Apple Watch companion provides distances and hole-by-hole score entry, useful for players who want scoring and course information on their wrist.

For clubs, ReadyGolf combines tee-time booking and tee-sheet management with competition and member management, CRM, payments, invoicing and simulator booking. It provides federation data through eBirdie and scoped links to finance and back-office systems. Shareholder management, guest tee-time booking, a web shop and golf-cart booking are separate modules, so clubs should check whether their desired workflows are included in their configuration.

Key features

Tools for golfers

The app brings booking, play and scoring together with competitions and leaderboards. Worldwide round recording and GPS maps make it relevant to golfers playing different courses, while the watch companion puts distance information and scoring within reach during a round. These features are free for golfers, but club operational workflows belong to paid plans.

Club operations

Competition management, member management and CRM sit alongside bookings, payments and invoicing. That breadth can help a club consolidate several operational workflows; the trade-off is that optional modules are separate and transaction-based fees add to the monthly subscription. ReadyGolf identifies golfers, caddiemasters, administrators and club leaders as users of its club workflows.

Pricing

ReadyGolf uses a freemium model. The ReadyGolf golfer app is free, with booking, play and scoring, competitions and leaderboards. Clubs set the prices of their own products and services.

Simulator booking: €49.00 per month under a 12-month agreement, billed monthly, exclusive of VAT. Includes simulator availability and slots, player bookings from the app, and the ReadyGolf app for members and guests.
Competition management: €99.00 per month under a 12-month agreement, billed monthly, exclusive of VAT. Adds registrations and start lists, score entry and live leaderboards, ranking series and recurring competitions, as well as the app for members and guests.
Golf club management system: starts at €199.00 per month under a 12-month agreement, billed monthly, exclusive of VAT. The price scales with club size, member count, number of holes and selected modules. It includes competition management, simulator booking, member management and CRM; usage-based fees are separate.

The golfer app is the right choice for players who want free digital play tools, not for clubs seeking administration software. The €49 plan is focused on simulator bookings; the €99 plan is for clubs prioritising competition workflows. The management system is the broader option, but its final cost varies with club size and configuration. Transaction-based charges, including payments and invoices, are billed according to use. Onboarding, data migration and integrations are quoted separately and itemised in the proposal. Clubs should budget for the full 12-month term rather than treating the monthly billing as a month-to-month commitment.

Platforms

ReadyGolf is available on Android, iOS and the web. The Apple Watch companion adds distances and score entry during play.

Who it's for

ReadyGolf is a fit for golfers who want booking, scoring and competition tools in one app, including those who play courses around the world. For clubs, it is most relevant to teams looking to manage tee times, competitions and member relationships in a shared platform. Clubs that need shareholder, guest booking, web shop or golf-cart workflows should account for those as separate modules. A club that needs short-term pricing flexibility may prefer a different option, given ReadyGolf’s 12-month agreements.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free golfer app covers booking, scoring, competitions and leaderboards, giving golfers a useful set of play tools without a subscription.
Pro: Club features span tee-sheet booking, member and competition management, CRM, payments, invoicing and simulator booking.
Pro: Worldwide round recording, GPS maps and Apple Watch scoring support play beyond a golfer’s home club.
Con: Club agreements run for 12 months, limiting flexibility for clubs that want a shorter commitment.
Con: VAT, transaction-based fees and separately quoted implementation work mean monthly plan prices are not the whole cost.
Con: Shareholder management, guest tee-time booking, web shop and golf-cart booking are separate modules rather than core inclusions.

Alternatives

Golf Tee Time Booking Software is a broader starting point for comparing booking products.

Choose Supreme Golf for Courses if free course listings and tee-time distribution are the priority; prepaid marketplace bookings carry a 2.9% processing fee. Consider ITG.golf if you want a paid option with demo-based pricing.

Caddyio offers a free plan and a free trial is not available. Links Meridian has paid plans and a free trial, while its Starter plan is $79.00 USD per month billed annually. For a quoted option, compare Club Caddie, Club Systems Tee Time Management, BRS Golf or Jonas Club Software.

Verdict

ReadyGolf is best for golf clubs that want golfer-facing booking and scoring alongside club tools for tee times, competitions and member workflows. Its free golfer app is a straightforward draw, and the modular club platform covers a broad set of operations. Clubs should look elsewhere if they need a shorter commitment or predictable all-in pricing: the 12-month term, usage fees and separately quoted implementation can materially change the cost.
