Overview

Marketbridge brings vendor administration, financial rules, order handling and tax workflows into a single marketplace operations layer. A central dashboard manages onboarding, permissions, territories and product approvals, giving an operator a consistent way to control who can sell and what can be listed.

The product is aimed at artisan and niche marketplaces, B2B industrial and trade platforms, equipment and rental businesses, and SaaS or platform operators. It supports mixed product types and shipping workflows, so it is more relevant to operationally complex marketplaces than to a simple single-store catalogue.

Key features

Its commission engine supports flat rates, category rules, vendor tiers and compound fixed-plus-percentage formulas. That range suits marketplaces where seller economics vary by category or performance, rather than those applying one universal fee.

Stripe Connect divides checkout proceeds between the marketplace and vendors, with daily, weekly or monthly payout schedules. This can reduce manual settlement work, although the described split-payment flow is built around Stripe Connect. Vendors receive a branded portal for products, pricing, inventory and orders, which gives sellers self-service responsibility without exposing the operator dashboard.

Orders can be routed by location, inventory or fulfilment capacity, with real-time stock visibility across vendors. That is useful when different sellers fulfil independently or when stock location determines the best source. Automated GST/VAT collection and remittance, regional vendor tax-ID verification and tax invoices address common marketplace compliance tasks. A dispute workflow covers refunds, chargebacks and customer disputes across vendors.

Integrations cover accounting tools such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, NetSuite and Sage; payment services including Stripe, Square, PayPal, Adyen and eWAY; commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento; plus CRM, marketing, shipping and communication services. Hykmah describes the pre-built connectors as offering bi-directional synchronisation, OAuth2 security and webhook automation, which should help keep operational data aligned across systems.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 AUD per month, billed monthly. It includes one product, 100 records, 100 transactions per month, 1 GB of storage, documentation support and no onboarding. The free Startup tier is also described as supporting up to 10 vendors, 100 products, basic marketplace setup, a vendor portal, email notifications and one user account. It is suitable for validating a small marketplace, but the transaction, product and account ceilings leave little room for a busy operation.

Professional is 50.00 AUD per month, billed monthly, with up to two products, 1,000 records, 1,000 monthly transactions, 10 GB of storage, email and phone support, and two hours of onboarding. It is the practical step up for a small operating marketplace, though the product allowance and transaction quota still require careful forecasting.

Premium costs 350.00 AUD per month, billed monthly. It raises capacity to up to five products, 10,000 records, 10,000 transactions per month and 100 GB of storage, adding priority support, a dedicated account manager and eight hours of onboarding. This is the more credible tier for a marketplace with meaningful volume and a need for guided implementation.

Enterprise uses custom pricing and includes all products, unlimited records, transactions and storage, a four-hour SLA and custom onboarding. It is intended for organisations whose scale or service requirements exceed the packaged quotas.

Platforms

Marketbridge is offered through a web interface and an API. That combination suits teams that need an operator console while connecting marketplace processes to their own applications or services.

Who it's for

Choose Marketbridge for a multi-vendor operation that needs structured seller onboarding, differentiated commission rules, scheduled payouts and routing based on stock or fulfilment capacity. It is particularly well matched to niche, B2B, rental and platform businesses with accounting, commerce and payment integrations to coordinate.

It is less suitable for a tiny catalogue that will remain below the free plan's limits, or for a team that needs more products and transactions than the Professional and Premium quotas allow without moving to a custom Enterprise arrangement.

Pros and cons

Pros: Commission formulas cover flat, category, tiered and combined fee models.
Pros: Vendor portal, onboarding controls and product approvals support distributed sellers.
Pros: Routing, shared inventory visibility and dispute handling address operational work beyond checkout.
Pros: The integration list spans accounting, payments, commerce, shipping and communications.
Cons: Free includes only one product, 100 records and 100 monthly transactions, limiting it to small pilots.
Cons: Professional and Premium cap products at two and five respectively, so catalogue growth may force an Enterprise conversation.
Cons: Split payments are described through Stripe Connect, which may constrain payment architecture.

Verdict

Marketbridge is a strong choice for marketplace operators that need commissions, vendor self-service, split payouts, fulfilment routing and compliance workflows together. Its main reason to look elsewhere is capacity economics: the free and packaged plans impose tight product and transaction limits, and larger operations must move to custom Enterprise pricing.
