Overview

Sidekick can find times that work for its users, then ask non-users to confirm a meeting request. It can also create calendar events, send invitations, and send reminders before meetings. That combination is useful for people who want help carrying a meeting from request to calendar entry, rather than only offering a booking link.

Scheduling can start from a personal page or from a forwarded meeting-request email. The email workflow checks availability, coordinates with the guest, and can book an open time. This gives inbox-led schedulers an alternative to sending a page for every request, while guests using a page can choose among the meeting formats offered.

Key features

Pages and meeting choices

Personal and team pages support custom availability, meeting permissions, and preferences. Pages can offer in-person, video, or phone meetings. Those controls make Sidekick useful when the same person needs to manage different kinds of appointments; the free Hero plan's three-page limit may be restrictive for users who need separate pages for many purposes.

Calendar and email workflow

Forwarding a meeting request email starts a process that checks availability and coordinates with the guest. Sidekick also supports scheduling among its users and can send non-users requests for confirmation. This is a practical fit for people who receive scheduling requests in email, though the workflow depends on connecting the calendars needed to find suitable times.

Integrations and data

The integrations page names Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Thunderbird, Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, and Office 365. The privacy policy says Sidekick may collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, calendars, and calendar events. For Zoom, it stores authentication information and Zoom-generated meeting links; users can remove Zoom authentication in preferences. Sidekick says it uses commercially acceptable means to protect personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security, so users should weigh the calendar access against their own privacy requirements.

Pricing

Hero Plan

The free Hero plan includes one connected source and three scheduling pages. Scheduled meetings, groups, and contacts are unlimited, and the plan includes Google, Outlook, and Microsoft 365, plus Google Meet, Zoom, Skype, and Teams. The open meeting volume is valuable for an individual with modest calendar needs, but one source can be a hard ceiling for anyone coordinating across multiple calendars.

Superhero Plan

Superhero costs 5.00 USD per month and includes unlimited sources and calendars, unlimited scheduling pages, and Team Pages. It is the relevant upgrade for people who need multiple calendar connections or team booking pages. Invited team members can join for free by syncing their calendars, which makes the paid plan's Team Pages more accessible than charging each invitee separately.

Sidekick Business BETA

Sidekick Business BETA offers business logo support and a near-white-label scheduling experience, with custom pricing. It is aimed at organizations that want branded scheduling rather than an individual's booking setup.

Sidekick offers a free trial, but no trial length or renewal terms are stated. The Hero plan has no published price, while its listed free-plan status and limits make it the no-cost starting point.

Platforms

Sidekick Scheduling is available on Android, iOS, and the web. That range suits people who need access across mobile and desktop environments.

Who it's for

Sidekick is a good fit for individuals who coordinate by email, rely on scheduling pages, and want meetings added to calendars with invitations and reminders. Small teams may find Superhero useful when they need Team Pages and shared scheduling, especially because invited members can join without a separate paid seat. It is a weaker fit for people who need multiple connected sources but want to remain on the free plan, or for users who prefer not to grant access to calendar and contact data.

Pros and cons

Pros: Email forwarding can start availability checks and guest coordination, so scheduling need not begin with a booking link.
Pros: Hero allows unlimited scheduled meetings, groups, and contacts, making its limits about connected sources and page count rather than meeting volume.
Pros: Superhero includes Team Pages, and invited team members can join free by syncing calendars.
Cons: Hero allows only one connected source and three scheduling pages, which can constrain multi-calendar users and people managing several booking contexts.
Cons: Team Pages require Superhero, so teams cannot use that feature on the free plan.
Cons: Sidekick may collect contact and calendar information, and its security statement does not guarantee absolute protection.

Clara is a web-based paid service with a free plan capped at 14 days and five meetings; consider it if a short, limited trial-style plan is enough.
Kronologic has a free web plan with a booking page, Google Calendar, and two meeting types; consider it if those basics cover your scheduling needs.
CalendarBridge AI Scheduling Assistant has no free plan and offers a 5.00 USD per month Basic plan with unlimited event syncing and up to 10 scheduling pages; consider it if those stated limits fit better.
Ari has a free plan limited to 10 meetings total, one Google and one Microsoft calendar, and one booking page; consider it if that finite allowance is sufficient.
DayOtter has a free web and Android plan with unlimited event types and booking pages, calendar sync, email reminders, and group polls; consider it if unlimited booking pages are the priority.
Sarra has a free web plan with three meetings per month per seat, one saved meeting type, and one calendar connection; consider it if that smaller monthly allowance is enough.

Verdict

Choose Sidekick Scheduling if you want email-based coordination, configurable booking pages, and calendar actions in one workflow, and can work within Hero's one-source limit or justify Superhero at 5.00 USD per month. Look elsewhere if you need Team Pages without a paid plan, or if calendar and contact access is not acceptable for your privacy requirements.
