Overview

Mybers is membership software for organizations that need to coordinate member records, dues, programming, and communications in one system. It is a strong fit for small and mid-sized groups that want room to grow without per-member plan caps; the trade-offs are monthly email quotas and transaction fees on self-serve plans.

Its breadth will appeal to associations, clubs, gyms, studios, and nonprofits running events or recurring classes alongside membership. Groups that need reliable automatic webhook retries or want to avoid percentage-based payment charges should weigh those needs before choosing it.

Key features

Members, events, and communications

Custom fields, membership levels, tags, self-registration, a member portal, and QR code cards give teams useful ways to organize records and support member self-service. Event tools cover in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats, including ticket sales, registrations, and check-ins; recurring classes and appointments make the platform relevant to studios and gyms as well as associations.

Email broadcasts can be filtered by audience, personalized with merge fields, scheduled, and tracked for delivery. CAN-SPAM-compliant unsubscribe links support routine list management. The monthly email cap, rather than member count, is the constraint to watch as an organization grows.

Payments, AI, and integrations

Payments run through the organization’s own Stripe account, with funds going directly to it. Self-serve plans charge 1% on dues and 2% on class passes, so organizations should account for those charges in addition to Stripe costs. Mynd adds an AI phone agent for inbound calls and renewal outreach, plain-English member-data queries, drafted communications, and setup assistance. These tools may help teams handle routine work, but the published plan details only specify AI voice/SMS usage credits on Pro.

The feature page names HubSpot, Mailchimp, Stripe, Slack, Zapier, and QuickBooks, with integrations potentially self-serve, managed, or custom according to plan. The REST API, scoped API keys, and HMAC-signed webhooks offer options for custom connections; however, each webhook is delivered once with no automatic retry. That limitation matters for workflows where a missed event could leave systems out of sync.

Security, apps, and migration

Mybers says it encrypts data in transit, uses scoped access controls, and stores payment identifiers and amounts rather than full card numbers. Organizations control their members’ data, and Mybers says it does not use customer data to train third-party foundation models.

The browser-based service can be installed on iOS, Android, and desktop without an app store. Branded organization apps are included on Club and above. Migration support covers imports from other platforms or CSV, with field mapping, a dry-run preview, and one-click undo within 24 hours. That rollback window is useful during a transition, but it is short enough to require prompt review of imported records.

Pricing

Mybers has a free plan, paid plans from $39/mo, and a 14-day trial. All published plans have unlimited members, shifting the main plan comparison to email volume and added services.

Starter: $0.00 USD per free, billed Free forever. It includes unlimited members and 500 emails per month. This is a low-cost way for a small group to establish its records, but the email allowance is modest and the listed plan details do not include the paid-plan payment terms.
Club: $39.00 USD per month, billed $39/month. It raises the email allowance to 5,000 per month and charges a flat 1% on dues and 2% on class passes. It includes standard support and branded organization apps, making it the practical step up for groups that need more communications capacity or an app identity.
Pro: $79.00 USD per month, billed $79/month. It doubles Club’s email allowance to 10,000 per month and adds AI voice/SMS usage credits, while retaining the same listed payment fees. Priority support with an SLA makes this a better fit for organizations that need a stronger support commitment; the usage credits are not quantified.
Enterprise: custom pricing, with unlimited members.

The self-serve transaction fees can outweigh the monthly subscription difference for organizations processing substantial dues or class-pass volume. Card is the listed payment method, and automated dunning is available.

Platforms

Mybers supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. The browser-installable experience avoids an app-store install for members, while branded organization apps require Club or higher.

Who it's for

Mybers is best suited to small and mid-sized associations, clubs, nonprofits, congregations, gyms, and studios that need membership records alongside activities, booking, payments, and email. The company describes its initial audience as groups with 50–5,000 members, though every published plan has unlimited members. It is less compelling for organizations with high transaction volume, very large broadcast needs on Starter, or integrations that depend on automatic webhook retries.

Pros and cons

Pro: Unlimited members across the published plans avoid a per-member plan ceiling as groups expand.
Pro: Member records, self-service, events, recurring classes, payments, and email sit together, suiting organizations with both membership and programming needs.
Pro: Migration includes field mapping, a preview, and a one-click undo window, reducing the risk of committing a flawed import.
Con: Self-serve plans charge 1% on dues and 2% on class passes, adding costs that grow with transaction volume.
Con: Starter includes 500 emails per month, and even Pro is capped at 10,000, so frequent or large broadcasts may require a higher tier.
Con: Webhooks have no automatic retry, creating extra reliability work for connected systems.

Verdict

Choose Mybers if your organization wants unlimited member records in one system for dues, events, classes, bookings, and communications, with migration support and optional AI tools. Look elsewhere if percentage-based self-serve fees undermine your payment economics or if your integrations require webhooks to retry automatically.
