Overview

Companies, universities, accelerators and communities can use Mentornity to run one-to-one, group, self-selection, freestyle and structured mentoring. That range suits organizations managing different kinds of programs in one place, while a simple informal pairing may not need the added coordination tools.

Key features

Matching rules let administrators weight profile criteria and set mandatory filters to score potential pairs. The same data produces the same result, which makes rule-based decisions predictable. An AI rule can also read free-text goals to find relevant expertise, a useful option when participants’ needs are difficult to capture in standard profile fields.

Mentors can publish recurring availability for mentees to book. Connected calendars block busy times, and meetings receive video links. Integrations include Zoom, Google Meet and Calendar, Microsoft Teams and Outlook, Jitsi, SAML identity providers such as Azure AD and OneLogin, and Excel or CSV import and export. The maker says in-platform video calls open in a browser and work on mobile browsers, so mobile access does not depend on a dedicated in-app calling experience.

Program Health flags stalled pairs and open tasks, and coordinators can be assigned to specific pairs. Participants can submit support requests in the app; administrators share a support board and reply using the program’s name. Reports export to CSV, Excel or PDF, and completed participants can receive certificates. Together, these tools give coordinators ways to spot follow-up needs and close out a program without relying only on informal check-ins.

Mentornity’s privacy policy says the service is hosted in AWS’s Frankfurt region, uses HTTPS/TLS connections and salted bcrypt password hashes, and stores encrypted backups in the EU. It also says Mentornity does not sell personal data or use program data to train AI models. These are relevant assurances for organizations handling participant information.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed per month, with no expiry, credit card or setup fee. It supports up to 10 users and includes all paid-plan features. That makes it suitable for a small pilot or a compact program, but the 10-user ceiling limits its use as a lasting home for a growing cohort.

Program costs 289.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and can be stopped at any time. It covers 50 active users, unlimited programs, cohorts and administrators; administrators and coordinators do not count toward the participant total. Yearly billing is $3,120 invoiced once for the year, shown as $260 per month. The monthly option suits teams that value flexibility, while the annual term lowers the displayed monthly rate for organizations ready to commit. Only active participants count, which gives programs room to retain inactive records without consuming paid seats.

Custom pricing is required for more than 50 users and is based on user count. White labeling and SAML single sign-on cost extra, including for organizations that need a branded experience or identity integration. The free plan is generous in feature access, but scaling beyond its 10-user cap means a jump to a paid plan; there is no free trial.

Platforms

Mentornity is available on Android, iOS and the web. Its in-platform video calls open in a browser and work on mobile browsers.

Who it's for

Mentornity is best for coordinators at companies, universities, accelerators and communities who need configurable participant matching, scheduling and visibility into stalled pairs or open tasks. Smaller teams can use the free plan to run up to 10 users. Organizations with larger programs should weigh the $289.00 USD monthly Program plan, custom pricing beyond 50 users, and extra charges for white labeling or SAML SSO. It is less compelling for an informal mentoring arrangement that needs little structure.

Pros and cons

Pros: Weighted rules, mandatory filters and optional AI matching accommodate both structured profiles and free-text goals.
Pros: Recurring availability, calendar busy-time blocking and meeting links reduce scheduling coordination.
Pros: Program Health, pair-specific coordinators and in-app support requests help teams manage follow-through across cohorts.
Pros: The no-expiry Free plan includes paid-plan features, making a 10-user pilot possible without a card or setup fee.
Cons: Free access stops at 10 users, while the next tier costs 289.00 USD per month.
Cons: White labeling and SAML SSO are extra-cost options, so organizations needing them must budget beyond the base plan.

Alternatives

Mentoring Software is the broader directory for comparing options. Consider PushFar if an individual free mentoring network is the priority: its Open mentoring network is free for individuals to find a mentor, become a mentor, or both, and it also offers an organisational platform with custom pricing. Mentors Outreach may suit a small community that wants a larger free participant allowance: its free Community plan covers 100 participants, 10 programs and one organisation workspace, while Professional costs A$149.00 per organisation per month.

Brancher is a paid alternative with a free trial and annual plans that can be paid quarterly or monthly; its per-participant cost falls as a program grows. Mentessa is another paid option, with a free trial and a Connect — Standard talent development plan at 292.00 EUR per month for up to 100 active participants, or 15% less with annual payment. MentorCity offers a free plan and a Standard option with a dedicated account manager, messaging, meetings, video conferencing, goals, agreements and surveys.

MentorCloud may appeal to buyers seeking a paid platform with a free trial; its Basic plan is 4.00 USD per year, billed annually, and includes AI matching, multiple program management, learning journey reporting and video call integration. Mentorloop offers a free plan and a Pro plan starting from $299/mo for a simple mentoring program with themes, designed for non-profits and community groups. Qooper is an alternative with custom pricing based on program scope, participant volume and organizational requirements.

Verdict

Choose Mentornity if your organization needs control over matching, scheduling and participant follow-through across structured mentoring programs. Its broad format support and coordinator tools are the main reasons to choose it; the 10-user free cap, $289.00 USD monthly starting tier and extra charges for white labeling or SAML SSO are reasons to look elsewhere if your needs are small or those features are essential.
