Overview

Founded in 2017, Stotles combines opportunity discovery, tender tracking and document management with a reusable content library. Its scope reaches from signals that may precede a formal tender to qualification and response drafting, making it a broader proposition than a tender alert feed alone.

Key features

Procurement discovery

Stotles says it aggregates procurement data from more than 100 portals and refreshes it every two hours. Its coverage includes tenders and contract awards, government buyers, buyer contacts, invoices and documents. AI relevance scoring and email notifications help teams follow opportunities across hundreds of portals, while AI analysis of budgets, board minutes, strategy papers and policy announcements aims to surface buying intent before a tender appears. That early signal can give a public-sector sales team more time to act, though it is not a substitute for tracking published tenders.

Qualification and response drafting

Stotles AI reviews tender packs, scores viability, flags risks and links cited requirements back to their source. This makes qualification more traceable than relying on an unexplained score. It can also draft responses using a customer's content library, market data and internet sources; teams should weigh that drafting capability against the need to review and adapt responses for each bid.

Integrations and security

Integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, SharePoint, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, the Stotles API and a beta MCP integration. MCP access requires a paid Stotles account and uses the user's existing login. Stotles states that it is SOC 2 Type II certified, supports single sign-on and MFA, and is GDPR compliant—useful credentials for teams assessing a procurement workflow platform.

Pricing

Stotles uses a freemium model, with distinct Sales Studio and Bid Studio tracks. The free options provide a way to start, but the bid-report cap makes them a limited basis for regular qualification work.

Sales Studio Free — free: tender tracking and pre-tenders. A sensible entry point for teams exploring the sales workflow, but it does not include the added buyer research of Growth.
Bid Studio Free — free: three AI bid/no-bid reports, tender tracking and alerts, and self-serve customer support. The three-report limit suits occasional evaluation rather than a steady stream of bids.
Sales Studio Basic — 75.00 GBP per month: upcoming expiring contracts and live chat support. It is the lower-cost paid sales option, but its listed scope is narrower than Growth's intelligence and contact features.
Sales Studio Growth — 475.00 GBP per month: buyer and competitor/partner intelligence, frameworks, documents and spend, plus decision-maker contacts. The added context is aimed at teams doing active account and market research; it is a substantial step up from Basic in price.
Sales Studio Expert — custom pricing: market analysis suite, multi-team configuration and integration support. Its focus is more suitable for organisations with broader analytical or configuration needs than a single team.
Bid Studio Growth — 990.00 GBP per month: 15 AI bid/no-bid reports per month, five bid projects a month and a secure hosted bid content library. The defined monthly allowances make it easier to judge fit, but the price is a major commitment for teams with low bid volume.
Bid Studio Expert — custom pricing: unlimited AI bid qualification, uncapped response generation and large-scale bid process tools. It targets high-volume or complex bid operations; teams should compare their need for those expanded limits with the cost of a custom-priced plan.

The plan details give report and project allowances where stated, but do not set out seat counts or a trial period. Choose on the basis of the listed workflow and monthly capacity rather than assuming a particular team size is included.

Platforms

Stotles is available on the web and through an API. The web deployment suits teams working in a browser, while the API and listed integrations provide routes to connect it with other sales and collaboration tools.

Who it's for

Stotles is aimed at public-sector go-to-market, sales and bid teams. It is a good fit when the same organisation needs to identify buyers, monitor tenders and qualify or draft responses. A supplier seeking only occasional tender alerts or a small amount of bid drafting may be better served by a narrower, lower-cost option.

Pros and cons

Pros

One workflow from early signals to bids: discovery, tender tracking, qualification and drafting cover multiple stages of public-sector selling.
Broad procurement coverage: data from more than 100 portals, refreshed every two hours, is paired with buyer, award and document information.
Traceable qualification: AI bid assessments cite requirements to their source, helping teams inspect why a tender was flagged.
Choice of sales or bid focus: separate studios let teams pay for buyer research or bid production needs rather than treating them as identical.

Cons

Free bid use is tightly capped: three bid/no-bid reports are unlikely to support frequent qualification.
Bid Studio Growth is costly: 990.00 GBP per month is a significant outlay even with 15 reports and five projects monthly.
Growth sales research costs much more than Basic: 475.00 GBP per month is best justified by a real need for buyer, competitor, framework and contact intelligence.
Expert pricing is custom: teams cannot compare those tiers against a fixed monthly amount before evaluating fit.

Alternatives

Readers comparing bid and tender tools can also browse Bid Management Software.

BidNet Direct is worth considering when free access to Member Agency opportunities, bid browsing and submission, and real-time bid matches is the priority; its Basic plan is free.
Projectory AI may suit someone who prefers a defined 30-day trial with 15 credits before considering its 299.00 USD per month Professional plan.
Klarum offers a free one-user entry with capped monthly matches and no document generation or team features, making it a narrower starting point.
Smart Tenders has a 49.00 GBP per month Starter plan for a supplier testing a repeatable tender workflow, with one saved sector filter and one active tender pack.
Bid Responder is an alternative for teams seeking a defined Starter allowance of three team members, 10 projects and 250 AI answers monthly for 29.00 USD per month.
Bidwell is another freemium option.
KimonBids is another freemium option with a one-time watermarked AI draft trial on its free plan.
ProposalWorkspace is a paid alternative with a free trial and a Solo plan listed at 99.00 USD per month.

Verdict

Choose Stotles if your public-sector team wants procurement discovery, buyer context and bid preparation in one platform, especially when early buying signals and traceable qualification matter. Look elsewhere if your needs are limited to occasional tender tracking or a few bid reports: the free caps are modest, while the more capable paid tiers carry substantial monthly costs.
