Overview

Qashier is a Malaysian business platform that brings salon bookings, point of sale, payments and loyalty together. It suits salons and spas that want appointments and customer rewards connected to day-to-day sales. The trade-off is a tightly capped free plan: growing operators will need a paid tier for more products, staff tools and support.

Key features

Bookings and salon operations

Qashier Bookings handles online appointments around the clock, confirms them instantly and supports package redemption. Its team calendar syncs with the POS, so bookings sit alongside sales rather than in a separate workflow. Staff performance and commission tracking, plus reports on sales and customer feedback, give owners useful ways to follow service and revenue. These capabilities are particularly relevant to salons managing multiple staff; staff management is excluded from Lite.

Payments and loyalty

The Malaysia terminal accepts major credit and debit cards, DuitNow QR, Touch ’n Go, GrabPay, Boost, mobile payments and e-wallets. Qashier Treats links loyalty points to payments and also supports vouchers, promotions and personalised customer messages. That breadth can help salons connect transactions with repeat-visit incentives, but Lite excludes QashierPay card payments and add-on tools.

Integrations, security and support

Growth includes Xero, Shopify and WooCommerce integrations. Qashier also describes API connections for payments, POS data and Treats loyalty, with transaction data consolidated in one dashboard. It says it complies with PCI DSS 3.2 as a Level 1 Service Provider and separates sensitive card data from the rest of its infrastructure. It also says it follows Malaysia’s PDPA and other personal data protection laws in its markets.

Support varies meaningfully by tier: Lite is email-only, while Essential and Growth include live chat, phone and WhatsApp. QashierHQ is accessible through a browser and Android device, and its HQ mobile app is available for iPhone and Android.

Pricing

Qashier offers a free plan and two paid plans. Prices exclude SST.

Lite: Free. It allows up to 25 products, with monthly sales and staff limits, and reports up to 1 year. Email is the only included support channel. With card payments, staff management and add-on tools also excluded, Lite is best treated as a limited starting point, not a full operating setup for a busy salon.
Essential: 5.00 USD per month (billed RM5/day). It supports up to 9 stores, up to 1,000 products, unlimited staff and CRM up to 500 customers, and includes live chat, phone and WhatsApp support. This is the practical step up for a salon that has outgrown Lite’s catalogue and staffing constraints but does not need unlimited products or CRM.
Growth: 8.00 USD per month (billed RM8/day). It supports 10+ stores, unlimited products and unlimited CRM, adds staff commissions, and includes Essential features. Its wider capacity and listed Xero, Shopify and WooCommerce integrations suit larger or expanding operations.

Qashier offers a free trial. The published plan details do not state its length.

Platforms

Qashier supports Android, iOS, web and API access. QashierHQ works in a browser and on Android, while the HQ app is available for iPhone and Android. The API options make it relevant to businesses connecting payments, POS data or loyalty with other systems.

Who it's for

Qashier is a strong fit for Malaysian salons, spas and wellness businesses that want bookings, payments, customer loyalty and sales reporting in one platform. Lite may suit a very small operation evaluating the system, but its 25-product cap, monthly sales and staff limits, and missing card payments and staff management make it a poor fit as needs grow. Businesses that need more room can weigh Essential against Growth based on store count, catalogue size, CRM needs and commission tracking.

Pros and cons

Pro: Online appointments, package redemption and a POS-synced team calendar connect salon scheduling with sales operations.
Pro: A broad Malaysia payment mix and payment-linked loyalty give salons several ways to take payment and encourage repeat visits.
Pro: Paid plans include unlimited staff, while Growth adds unlimited products, unlimited CRM and staff commissions.
Con: Lite caps products at 25 and applies monthly sales and staff limits, while excluding card payments and staff management.
Con: Lite support is limited to email; live chat, phone and WhatsApp require Essential or Growth.

Alternatives

For a loyalty-focused comparison, browse Salon Loyalty Software; for broader register and checkout options, see Point-of-Sale Software.

SalonHub360 is another salon-focused option; its Starter plan is 19.99 USD per month for one staff member, online booking, service menu, client management and basic appointment reminders.
SpotOn Restaurant is an alternative for restaurant operations, with POS software and hardware, ordering, payments, table layouts, menu management and reporting; processing minimums and a 2-year minimum term apply.
Insight Salon Software is a paid salon software alternative with a free trial.

Verdict

Choose Qashier if you run a Malaysian salon or spa and want bookings, payments, loyalty and staff performance tied into one operating platform. Its payment coverage and salon-specific workflow are the clearest reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if Lite’s strict caps are all you can accommodate, or if you need a free plan with card payments and staff management.
