Overview

MoneyPatrol tracks income, expenses, budgets, bills, debt, investments, net worth, credit scores and receipts. It connects accounts through more than 20,000 financial institutions; it also describes connections via multiple data providers covering 13,000-plus institutions. That reach is useful when finances span several providers, while the service's two connectivity figures reflect different claims rather than a single count.

Alerts and reminders cover financial activity, bills, fees, low balances and suspicious transactions. Dashboard sharing can bring in a spouse, financial coach, advisor or CPA, making the service relevant to household coordination or guided planning. More than 500 financial calculators provide a broad reference library, though the main value remains seeing and tracking finances in one place.

Key features

Broad financial tracking: The mix of spending, budgeting, debt, investment, net-worth, credit-score and receipt tools offers more coverage than a narrow expense tracker. It suits people seeking a consolidated view, but the breadth may be unnecessary for someone who only wants to set a monthly budget.
Connections and reminders: Linked accounts and alerts can surface bills, fees, low balances and suspicious transactions. Account aggregation is a core convenience, though users who need a particular provider should check that it is supported before relying on the service.
Sharing and reporting: Shared dashboards and report exports can help households and people working with a coach or advisor review finances together.
Paid integrations and safeguards: Paid plans add Excel, Google Sheets, Zillow Zestimate and multiple data aggregators, with the number varying by tier. Power adds daily data backup and priority support, which matter more to users who depend on longer-term records and responsive assistance.
Retention: Data retention ranges from six months to two years or indefinitely by plan. That makes tier choice consequential for anyone who wants to compare finances over time.

Pricing

MoneyPatrol has a forever-free option and paid plans with a 15-day free trial. Monthly prices are $3.99, $6.99 and $9.99 for Essential, Premier and Power, respectively. Annual plan prices are $19.99, $39.99 and $69.99. Premier is displayed as $72 annual with $32 savings, and Power as $120 annual with $50 savings; those displayed annual amounts differ from the annual plan prices. The lifetime offer costs $299.99 once and is described as limited-time.

Forever Free — free: No fees, with income and expense tracking, alerts, linked accounts, credit reports, net worth, bills, receipts, reports and calculators. It is a substantial starting point for individual users, but does not provide the paid tiers' stated aggregator counts and integrations.
Essential — $19.99 USD per year: Includes free features and two data aggregators; the paid trial lasts 15 days. A fit for users who need paid connectivity without the larger aggregator allowance of higher tiers.
Premier — $39.99 USD per year: Provides three data aggregators. It is a middle choice for users whose account mix exceeds Essential's allowance, though it gives up the five aggregators available with Power.
Power — $69.99 USD per year: Includes five data aggregators, priority support and daily backup of all data. It makes sense for users who value those safeguards and broader connections; otherwise the lower tiers may cover the essentials.
Power Lifetime — $299.99 USD per once: A one-time payment for lifetime use, offered at a limited-time discount. It may suit someone committed to the service over the long term, but requires a much larger upfront payment than an annual plan.

Retention differs by plan: six months, two years or forever. The free tier is generous, but anyone who needs historical records should choose based on the retention period attached to the relevant tier.

Platforms

Apps are listed for Android and iOS, as well as Windows, Mac and Linux. That range makes MoneyPatrol a practical option for users who want access across desktop and mobile rather than a web-only workflow.

Who it's for

MoneyPatrol is a good fit for people who want account-linked tracking across several financial categories, and for households or advisors who benefit from shared dashboards. Its free tier suits those unwilling to commit upfront. It is less compelling for someone seeking only a focused budgeting method, or for users who need a specific account connection or a clearly defined retention period before choosing a plan.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free plan includes linked accounts, reports, bills, receipts, net worth and calculators, so users can start with more than basic expense tracking.
Pro: Support for desktop and mobile platforms, plus dashboard sharing, accommodates different devices and collaborative financial reviews.
Pro: Paid tiers scale aggregator counts from two to five, while Power adds daily backup and priority support.
Con: Retention varies from six months to forever, so users who need a long financial history may have to pay for the appropriate tier.
Con: The displayed annual amounts for Premier and Power do not match their stated annual plan prices, so compare the plan terms carefully before paying.
Con: The lifetime offer has a high upfront cost relative to an annual subscription and is described as limited-time.

Verdict

Choose MoneyPatrol if you want broad, account-linked financial tracking, sharing and a capable free starting point across desktop and mobile. Its strongest reason to choose is the range of tools available before paying; its clearest reason to look elsewhere is the plan-dependent retention and aggregator limits, especially if a particular connection or long history is essential.
