Overview

SaliencyLab is an AI-native platform for evaluating advertising creative through modeled diagnostics, simulated buyer scenarios and team review. It is best suited to brand and agency teams deciding what to refine before media spend. Its structured review can guide discussion, but it cannot tell teams which ad will perform in market.

Key features

RoastIQ assesses creative against five KPIs: Beat the Skip, Get Noticed, Brand Impact, Sell Proposition and Build Brand. The verdict, platform and category benchmark context, and visual attention timeline give teams a consistent basis for comparing work. Treat the scores as diagnostic prompts, not performance forecasts: SaliencyLab does not claim they predict sales, ROAS, attributed conversion or in-market success.

BuyerLens simulates interviews with synthetic users to explore possible buyer resistance. It can help a team test questions about a concept, but it is not a real consumer panel. Pro supports up to 12 personas per study and 50 runs per workspace each month.

Hugo brings RoastIQ, synthetic interviews, benchmark queries and a reasoning trace into one conversation. Pro also includes MCP access for connected AI clients. REST API and webhooks remain in private preview, so teams that depend on those integrations should not assume they are ready for production use.

RoastIQ accepts MP4, MOV, JPG, PNG and WebP files, with video capped at 60 seconds; GIF and HEIC are unsupported. Supported ad placements include Instagram Feed, Reels and Stories, TikTok, YouTube Pre-roll and Shorts, Facebook Feed and Display. TV is not supported, which rules out teams whose creative review centers on television ads. SaliencyLab does not generate creative variants.

Customer uploads are not used to train SaliencyLab's models, and Google Vertex AI inputs and outputs are not retained for training. Traffic uses TLS 1.3, stored data is encrypted with AES-256, and workspaces are isolated with row-level security. The primary database and object storage are hosted in Supabase EU (Frankfurt). Active-account uploads and results are retained while the account remains active; deletion from active systems takes up to 30 days after account deletion. SaliencyLab does not hold SOC 2 Type II or ISO/IEC 27001 certification.

Pricing

Free — €0.00 per free, billed forever. The free plan includes 10 analyses per month, capped at three per day, RoastIQ's five-KPI diagnostic and verdict, benchmark context, a visual attention timeline and one teammate seat. It is a useful way for an individual to assess occasional creative, but excludes BuyerLens, Hugo and brief generation.

Pro — €99.00 per month, billed €99/month. Pro raises the allowance to 300 analyses per month and 30 per day, adds BuyerLens, Hugo, brief generation, report export and MCP access, and supports up to five seats. It fits teams that need synthetic-user scenarios and shared review; the monthly BuyerLens run cap still applies.

Launch with Confidence — €500.00 per once, billed €500 / sprint. This covers one brand and campaign, up to six creatives, a prioritized shortlist, annotated frames and editing recommendations, a 30-minute decision call, and one review of up to six revised creatives. It suits a team seeking focused help on a single campaign rather than a recurring subscription.

Creative Decision Partner — €1,000.00 per month, billed €1,000 / month. The plan covers one brand, two cycles with up to six creatives each, two reserved review slots, two campaign briefs and a shared decision log. It is aimed at teams that want a continuing review cadence, but is substantially more than the self-serve Pro plan.

Enterprise — custom pricing. Enterprise includes everything in Pro, custom benchmark pools, a tailored BuyerLens rollout, custom seats and persona library, dedicated support and contracted support terms. It is the fit for organizations that need a tailored rollout or support commitments.

Platforms

SaliencyLab is available on the web and through an API. Its REST API and webhooks are in private preview, while Pro includes MCP access for connected AI clients.

Who it's for

SaliencyLab is a reasonable choice for marketers and strategists at brands or agencies who want a repeatable creative-review process before media spend. It is less suitable for teams seeking validated consumer-panel findings, sales forecasts, TV-ad analysis or automatic variant generation.

Pros and cons

Pros: A five-KPI diagnostic, benchmark context and attention timeline create a structured review framework rather than a single score.
Pros: Pro combines synthetic buyer scenarios, an AI agent, report export and support for up to five seats.
Pros: The free plan allows ten monthly analyses and is billed forever, giving individual users a continuing entry point.
Cons: Modeled scores do not establish likely sales or campaign outcomes, so they cannot replace performance evidence.
Cons: Synthetic buyer interviews are not real panel research, and Pro caps them at 50 runs per workspace monthly.
Cons: The free tier excludes BuyerLens and Hugo, while GIF, HEIC and TV ads are unsupported.
Cons: REST API and webhooks are still in private preview, and the service lacks SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications.
