Overview

Novex brings registration, check-in, badges, sponsors, speakers, marketing, invoicing and reporting into one workspace. Application forms, travel details, session assignments and email automation address the speaker workflow, while attendee-facing tools cover the event before and during delivery. This is a broader proposition than a standalone speaker manager, and makes most sense when a team needs those jobs connected.

Badges can be designed and printed in the product, or sent as branded PDFs with confirmation emails. Email and WhatsApp campaigns share an event audience and suppression list, helping teams coordinate outreach. The interface is available in English and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout.

Novex describes its audience as event organisers, agencies, associations and in-house corporate teams running recurring events. Its security approach includes tenant isolation across application, ORM and PostgreSQL row-level security layers; sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-256, and primary hosting is in the European Union. Novex says it is aligned with EU GDPR, UK GDPR, Saudi PDPL and California CCPA/CPRA. SOC 2 Type II remains on the roadmap.

Key features

Speaker workflows: Application forms, travel details and session assignments cover several stages of speaker coordination. They are useful when tied to registration and event operations, but teams seeking only a focused speaker tool may not need the wider workspace.
Badges and check-in: Printable badges and confirmation-email PDFs connect attendee preparation with on-site QR check-in. Beam includes QR check-in and a public agenda page, making it a workable starting point for a small event, though branding stays on the badge.
Campaigns: Email and WhatsApp use the same audience and suppression list, a practical advantage for coordinated communications. Monthly campaign allowances vary sharply by plan.
Integrations: Spectrum includes REST API access and webhooks. Its AI copilot can use a customer-provided Claude or GPT key, so access to those models depends on the customer's own key.
Payments: Online payments are available when live on Spectrum. Paid tickets carry a 4.9% plus $1.99 fee per ticket, with card processing included; organisers should account for that charge when setting ticket economics.

Pricing

Novex has a free plan and a 14-day trial. Although the pricing summary says paid plans start at $299/mo, the published Flare tier is $99 month to month and Spectrum is $399 month to month. Compare the stated tier limits and confirm the applicable offer before choosing a plan.

Plan	Price and limits	Best fit
Beam	Free forever with no card required. One event, up to 150 attendees, email confirmations, QR e-badge, on-site QR check-in and public agenda page; Novex-branded.	A small event or a first step into the platform, if the capacity and branding are acceptable.
Flare	99.00 USD per month, billed month to month. Up to 3 active events, 1,000 registrations per event, 3 team members, 5 GB storage and 2,000 email campaigns per month. Includes email support with a 24-hour reply target.	Small teams running a few events that need more capacity than Beam.
Spectrum	399.00 USD per month, billed month to month. Up to 10 active events, 5,000 registrations per event, 10 team members, 20 GB storage, 10,000 email campaigns and 1,000 WhatsApp Business messages per month. Includes REST API, webhooks and priority support with a 24-hour reply target.	Growing event programmes that need integrations, WhatsApp outreach or higher quotas.
Aurora	999.00 USD per month, billed month to month. Unlimited active events and registrations, 25 team members, 100 GB storage, 50,000 email campaigns and 1,000 WhatsApp Business messages per month.	Large operations that need unlimited event and registration counts, with defined team, storage and campaign allowances.
Cosmos	Custom pricing under an annual contract. Unlimited events, registrations, team members, storage, email and WhatsApp; SSO, a 99.5% uptime SLA and custom onboarding.	Organisations needing an annual enterprise arrangement and the stated service commitments.

The free tier's one-event and 150-attendee ceiling is restrictive for recurring programmes, and its branding may not suit customer-facing events. Flare raises capacity but is limited to three seats and has no stated WhatsApp allowance; Spectrum increases seats and campaign quotas and adds WhatsApp and API capabilities. Aurora removes event and registration caps but still sets team, storage and messaging limits. Cosmos is the only tier with unlimited team members and communications.

Platforms

Novex supports Android, iOS, web and API. That range suits teams mixing mobile event use with web-based administration or integrations.

Who it's for

Novex is strongest for agencies, associations and corporate teams coordinating recurring events, particularly when speaker handling, attendee check-in, badges and campaigns belong in the same operation. It is less compelling for organisers who need only speaker submissions or session scheduling, or whose paid-ticket margins cannot absorb the per-ticket fee. Teams should also match event volume, seats and campaign use to the plan caps rather than assuming the broader feature set removes those constraints.

Pros and cons

Pro: Speaker workflows sit alongside registration, check-in, badges and event administration, reducing the need to separate those operational areas.
Pro: English and Arabic interfaces include full right-to-left layout, and campaigns share an audience and suppression list across email and WhatsApp.
Pro: Spectrum's REST API and webhooks support integrations, while Cosmos adds SSO and a 99.5% uptime SLA.
Con: Beam is limited to one event and 150 attendees and carries Novex branding, so it is not a durable fit for larger or branded programmes.
Con: Paid tickets incur 4.9% plus $1.99 per ticket, a material cost for high-volume or low-margin events.
Con: The entry paid plan has just three team members and 5 GB storage, while higher campaign and WhatsApp quotas require costlier tiers.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see Speaker Management Software and Event Sponsorship Management Software.

Sessionize is worth considering for community events, since its free Community event plan excludes internal, private, promotional, marketing, profit and commercial events.
Fourwaves may suit teams prioritising abstract submissions: its free Starter plan allows 25 submissions a year alongside unlimited registrations and events, with a 3% service fee.
ConfTool is an option for smaller non-commercial events that can work with a local installation and no support; its free Standard license covers up to 150 participants on request.
BagEvent suits buyers seeking a paid event platform with a Pro plan covering five events per month and 1,000 attendees per event; it has no free plan.
EasyChair is a narrower submission-focused alternative, with a free plan capped at 20 submissions and no technical support.
Indico is a free, open-source option for teams prepared to self-host.
Speaker Dream offers a free plan with unlimited events, sessions and speakers.
OpenSession is free and self-hosted on the customer's Cloudflare account, with Cloudflare's free tier covering most conference workloads.

Verdict

Choose Novex when a recurring-event team wants speaker coordination connected to registration, badges, check-in and communications in one platform. Its Arabic right-to-left support and graduated operational tiers add useful reach, but tight lower-tier quotas and paid-ticket charges can erode the case. Look elsewhere for a narrowly focused speaker tool, a self-hosted free option, or ticket economics that cannot accommodate the stated fee.
