Overview

Numonix IXCloud brings recordings and interactions from communications platforms into a centrally managed cloud archive. It is a stronger fit for enterprises that need controlled, compliance-oriented capture than for smaller teams looking for a transparent, low-cost service. Broad recording options and 1 TB of included storage are appealing; custom pricing and separately purchased analytics make cost and capacity key considerations.

Key features

IXCloud can capture audio, Microsoft Teams video and screen sharing, including on-demand Teams recording with PCI muting. Its rules engine can select recordings by call scenario, participant, keywords and other criteria, which lets organizations target capture rather than treat every interaction alike. Microsoft Teams, Avaya and Cisco are among its integrations.

The fully managed Azure service does not require customers to deploy or maintain physical or virtual servers. Each tenant includes 1 TB of geo-redundant storage, and customers can store encrypted recordings in their own Azure Blob account. Role-based access, two-factor authentication, 256-bit AES encryption and digital signatures provide specific controls for access and recording integrity.

IXCloud supports searchable archives and consent controls. Its optional analytics package adds transcription, on-demand AI summaries, sentiment analysis and PII redaction. Transcription capacity is sold in 100-hour increments, so buyers should match the purchase to expected usage rather than assume unlimited analysis. Numonix says its ISMS is ISO/IEC 27001-certified and it maintains a SOC 2 Type II attestation; it says IXCloud supports HIPAA and GDPR compliance, not that the product is HIPAA-certified.

Pricing

IXCloud is paid software with custom pricing. Enterprise is billed per user per month for Teams and other platforms; Business covers Teams PBX, while Hybrid covers non-Teams deployments. None has a published price, so organizations will need a quote to compare plans and establish seat costs.

A free plan and free trial are offered, and the subscription services agreement describes a 30-day trial unless Numonix extends it in writing. The available plan information does not distinguish feature or usage limits among the three tiers, so buyers should confirm included recording, analytics capacity, storage terms and renewal conditions before committing. Paying customers have a monthly availability SLA target of at least 99.9%, subject to conditions and exclusions. SaaS support is included in fees under the ordering document, with tickets handled through Numonix’s support portal.

Platforms

IXCloud is offered as a web service with API support. Its integrations with Microsoft Teams, Avaya, Cisco and other unified communications platforms make it relevant to organizations consolidating recordings from more than one communications environment.

Who it's for

IXCloud is aimed at enterprise customers that need cloud-hosted call recording and security controls. It suits organizations that value rule-based capture, a centrally managed archive and options for customer-controlled Azure storage. Teams requiring transcription and AI analysis should budget for the additional analytics package and its 100-hour increments. Buyers seeking published per-seat prices or a clearly defined low-cost entry tier should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Recording spans audio, Teams video and screen sharing, with on-demand capture and PCI muting for Teams.
Pros: Rules can target calls by scenario, participant or keywords, while each tenant includes 1 TB of geo-redundant storage.
Pros: The managed Azure deployment avoids customer-run servers, and encrypted recordings can be stored in a customer's own Azure Blob account.
Cons: All three plans require custom pricing, making seat-cost comparison difficult before requesting a quote.
Cons: Analytics costs extra, and transcription is purchased in 100-hour blocks, which may be an awkward fit for variable usage.

Alternatives

MiaRec is worth considering when a published starting price and usage allowance matter: its Essentials plan costs 25.00 USD per month under an annual contract, with a 25-user minimum, three months of storage and 1,500 minutes per user per month.

Luware Nimbus may suit buyers focused on routing services, with an Advanced Routing plan at 85.00 USD per month for 25 services or more. AudioCodes Interaction Insights offers hosted voice recording with retention up to 24 months on its Essential Recording plan; additional recording add-ons cost extra. Imagicle Call Recording is another cloud option, with a simple annual fee, automatic updates and elastic storage.

PhoneUP5, Smarsh Call Recording and Analytics, CallCabinet and Dubber are also paid alternatives.

Verdict

Choose IXCloud if your organization needs enterprise-scale, centrally managed recording across communications platforms, with granular capture rules and security controls. Its included storage and managed Azure service are meaningful advantages, but custom pricing and extra-cost analytics weaken its case for buyers who need predictable costs or built-in AI analysis. Request a quote and confirm plan scope, analytics capacity and trial terms before proceeding.
