Overview

Restaurants can publish menus with categories, photos, sizes, extras and item notes, then set delivery zones, fees and minimum orders on a map. That gives operators room to reflect how they actually sell and deliver, while customers can order from a computer, tablet or phone without installing an app. OrdraFood charges no commission on orders, which may appeal to restaurants that want a direct channel alongside other ways of taking orders.

Online payments support cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe or SumUp, and customers can also pay cash at pickup or delivery. OrdraFood says data is hosted on French servers in the EU and that it is GDPR compliant. Stripe and SumUp process card details outside OrdraFood’s servers; the payment page says both providers are PCI DSS Level 1 certified and use 3D Secure when required.

Key features

Menu and delivery controls

Sizes, extras and item notes help a restaurant present more than a bare list of dishes. Map-based delivery settings are useful for businesses that need to define service boundaries and charges, though the feature set is aimed at direct ordering rather than a full restaurant management suite.

Order handling and mobile use

The order dashboard, confirmation emails and order statistics give staff a central workflow for incoming orders. Pro adds automatic ticket printing to a thermal printer, reducing a manual step for a restaurant that handles orders at a counter or kitchen printer. The Android app adds new-order notifications, order status management and printing from a compatible printer; customers still order through a browser.

Payments and connections

Stripe and SumUp provide online payment options, while CSV or Excel imports and GloriaFood menu import can reduce the work of setting up a menu. Connections to POS and accounting tools are part of Premium, making that tier more relevant to restaurants that need ordering data to fit into existing operations. Table reservations are an optional module at €8.99/month excl. VAT on any plan.

Pricing

Starter is free, requires no credit card and allows 20 orders per month. It is suitable for trying a direct ordering channel or serving a very small volume, but that cap leaves little room for a busy restaurant. The service also offers a 15-day trial.

Pro costs €19.99/month excl. VAT and includes up to 350 monthly orders, automatic ticket printing, promotions and promo codes. It is the practical step up for a small restaurant that needs printed tickets or wants to run offers. Premium costs €49.99/month excl. VAT, raises the limit to 600 orders and adds Stripe or SumUp online payments and advanced statistics. Its POS and accounting connections make it the stronger fit for operators who need those links, though the higher cap is still finite.

Platinum has custom pricing and includes unlimited locations and orders, making it the tier to consider when the lower quotas or a single-location setup no longer fit. A full professional restaurant website is a separate paid option, and the customer supplies the domain name. The listed plans therefore cover ordering, while a restaurant seeking a full web presence should account for that additional purchase.

Platforms

OrdraFood is available on the web and Android. Staff can use the Android app for order alerts and status changes, while customers order in a browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone. The browser-based customer flow avoids an app download requirement.

Who it's for

OrdraFood is built for independent restaurants, including pizzerias, burger and sushi shops, sandwich shops, caterers and restaurants offering delivery. It fits operators who want a direct ordering page, control over delivery conditions and a path from a small free quota to paid order management. A restaurant that needs a full website must add the separate website option, and a business that regularly exceeds 600 orders will need custom-priced Platinum.

Pros and cons

Pros

No commission on orders gives restaurants a direct channel without a per-order platform commission.
Menu options and map-based delivery settings let operators shape the catalog and service area around their business.
Customers can order in a browser, and staff have an Android app for notifications and order handling.
Free Starter requires no credit card, while paid plans add defined order quotas and operational features.

Cons

Starter’s 20-order monthly limit is restrictive for an active restaurant, so growth can require a paid subscription quickly.
Pro and Premium both have order caps; only custom-priced Platinum offers unlimited orders.
A full professional website costs extra, and the restaurant must provide its own domain.
Staff mobile support is Android-only, even though customers can order from any browser-equipped device.

Alternatives

Fee Free Ordering is worth considering for restaurants that want a free 100-order monthly allowance or need iOS support; its own-domain option costs $9.99 per month. Ordering.Tools has a free 20-order plan and includes AI assistant questions and AI voice calls subject to usage limits, so it may suit a restaurant comparing those capabilities at the same free order cap.

MenuHoster offers a free plan centered on one active menu, website publishing, views and QR scans, with 25 pay-at-pickup orders per month; it is a fit when menu and QR publishing matter more than OrdraFood’s direct order workflow. LentloSites is another free option, with restaurant features, custom domain connection and Android and installable web apps, but charges a 2.5% fee per website sale.

Zarla is an alternative for readers comparing website-building tools. OrderZ Restaurant Website Builder is another restaurant website option, with a Lite plan priced at ₹499.00 per month when billed annually and a stated 1,500-order allowance. Fabricate is an alternative for readers considering a web app platform. Duckhub Websites is another option for readers evaluating website and online ordering tools.

Verdict

OrdraFood is a sensible choice for an independent restaurant that wants commission-free direct ordering, flexible menu and delivery settings, and a browser-based customer experience. Its free tier lowers the barrier to starting, while Pro adds ticket printing and promotions at a clear monthly price. Look elsewhere if you need more than 600 orders without moving to custom pricing, want a full website included in the base plan, or require an iOS staff app.
