Overview

A child profile can connect to multiple devices, including a mix of iPhones, iPads, and Android phones or tablets. That makes OurPact a practical fit for families whose children use more than one kind of device. Paid plans cover up to 20 child devices; the free plan is limited to one.

OurPact is a product of Eturi Corp., founded in 2015 and based in San Diego. The company says personal information is encrypted and is not sold or shared. Screenshots are stored in an encrypted gallery.

Key features

Screen-time and device controls

Daily limits and schedules support recurring household rules, while instant blocking and unblocking gives parents a way to act outside those routines. Device safeguards can prevent deletions and disable selected functions. On iOS 18 or older, tamperproofing prevents removal without parent approval; this protection is specifically tied to those operating-system versions.

Location and content monitoring

Live location, location history, and alerts for designated places give parents more than a one-time view of a child’s whereabouts. Premium+ adds content monitoring that uses screenshots, OCR, AI flagging, and custom detection for harmful content. That adds visibility beyond screen-time rules, though families should weigh screenshot-based monitoring against their privacy preferences.

Guided setup is described as quick, and a customer testimonial praises the support. These are useful signals for parents configuring controls, but they do not change the plan limits that determine what the service can manage.

Pricing

OurPact has a free tier, a 14-day trial, and two paid plans. The free option is sharply constrained: one child device, five manual blocks per month, and one automated block schedule. It can suit a parent trying basic controls on a single device, but it is not a full substitute for paid management across a family’s devices.

Plan	Price	Includes
Free	0.00 USD per free	1 child device, 5 manual blocks per month, 1 automated block schedule
Premium	$6.99 per month or $69.99 billed annually	Up to 20 child devices, screen-time management, location sharing, and device safeguards
Premium+	$9.99 per month or $99.99 billed annually	Up to 20 child devices, screen-time management, location sharing, content monitor, and device safeguards
14-day Free Trial	Custom pricing	14 days

Premium is the sensible upgrade for families that need more devices and location sharing but do not need content monitoring. Premium+ is the plan to choose when screenshot-based monitoring is central to the decision. Annual billing lowers the monthly equivalent compared with paying month to month, but requires paying the year’s charge upfront. A 14-day trial offers a short evaluation window before committing.

Platforms

OurPact supports iOS and Android, including iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and Android tablets. Mixed-device pairing is a useful advantage for families who do not standardize on one operating system. The service is not a fit for households that need management on desktop platforms.

Who it's for

Choose OurPact if you want a single service for recurring screen-time rules, immediate blocks, location features, and—on Premium+—content monitoring across a large or mixed-device family. The free tier is better treated as a small-scale starting point than as a long-term family plan. If you only need a basic control for Apple devices, a built-in option may be enough.

Pros and cons

Pros: One child profile can pair with mixed iOS and Android devices, reducing the need for separate setups in cross-platform households.
Pros: Paid plans support up to 20 child devices, with screen-time management, location sharing, and device safeguards included in Premium.
Pros: Live location, history, and place alerts combine with schedules and instant blocking for both ongoing rules and situational oversight.
Cons: Free covers only one child device, five manual blocks monthly, and one automated schedule, limiting its usefulness for multi-device families.
Cons: Content monitoring requires Premium+, so families wanting that feature must pay more than the base paid tier.
Cons: Tamperproofing is stated for iOS 18 or older, so it should not be assumed to apply to newer iOS versions.

Alternatives

Browse parental control apps if you want to compare the category more broadly. Consider Qustodio instead if you need Windows or macOS support as well as mobile coverage; its Basic plan is $72.94 USD per year for five devices, while Complete is $104.95 USD per year for unlimited family devices. Mobicip is another option to compare if desktop coverage matters; it supports Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, with a free plan and free trial.

FamilyTime may suit a family willing to start after a trial with a one-child-device annual plan at $29, charged after the trial. For a free option with broad platform coverage, Kaspersky Safe Kids offers a free tier with basic parental-control features and unlimited use. Wondershare FamiSafe is worth comparing if a 10-device plan and a three-day trial fit your needs; its yearly plan is $59.99 USD per year.

Safe Lagoon may be preferable if Android-only coverage and free web filtering are enough. Apple Screen Time is the simpler alternative for Apple-only households seeking a free built-in feature, provided they use Family Sharing and individual Apple Accounts to manage a child’s controls. KidSafe360 is another Android option to compare.

Verdict

OurPact is a strong choice for families that need mixed-platform device management, location features, and adjustable screen-time rules under one service. Premium is the better fit when those controls are enough; Premium+ earns its higher price only if content monitoring matters. Look elsewhere if you need desktop support, or if the free plan’s one-device and blocking caps are all you are willing to accept.
