Overview

Pic-Time is a gallery and sales platform for professional photographers and videographers delivering client work. It suits businesses that want print ordering, fulfillment and branded client galleries in one place. Its broad workflow is compelling, but storage limits and the jump to higher tiers matter if you handle large volumes.

Key features

Galleries and print sales

Client galleries sit at the center of Pic-Time, with private access for invitees or people invited by the main client; secure links and optional access codes add control over sharing. A connected store supports online payments, automatic fulfillment and album building through more than 30 global labs. That combination can turn delivery into a print-sales channel without separating the gallery from the order process.

Design and selling tools scale with the plan. Free includes basic design tools and sales automations, while Beginner adds custom branding. Professional and Advanced upgrade to premium galleries and print-store features; both also include slideshows and blogs. These upper tiers make more sense for studios that need richer client presentation, while the free tier is a way to start with a smaller gallery operation.

Mobile, integrations and website tools

The mobile app supports gallery creation, photo and video uploads, AI search and sharing branded galleries from a phone. Every plan includes the app, a portfolio page and 24/7 support. Account support is available in LiveChat or by email; Beginner specifies chat support as well.

Pic-Time lists integrations with Iris Works, Light Blue, Studio Ninja, Octoa, HoneyBook, VSCO Workspace, Lightroom, Zapier, Imagen and Wedding Workflows. StyleCloud can bring gallery images into WordPress sites, and Pic-Time Blogs can be embedded with slideshows, videos and GIFs. Those connections make the platform more useful to photographers who want galleries to feed a broader client and website workflow.

Files, privacy and security

The uploader accepts photos up to 100MB and 12000x10000 pixels. Standard video clips can be up to 3 minutes and 3GB, while featured videos can reach 90 minutes and 20GB. Those higher featured-video limits are useful for longer presentations, but video storage remains plan-dependent.

Pic-Time says it stores data on Microsoft Azure servers in the EU, US and Australia, with encryption at rest and in transit by default. Its privacy policy references GDPR, CCPA and Israeli privacy law and names Pic-Time Ltd. as data controller. This is relevant context for client work, but organizations should assess the applicable privacy requirements for their own workflows.

Pricing

Pic-Time is freemium, with paid plans from 7.00 USD per month billed annually, or $8 monthly. A 30-day trial is available. Compare the storage allocations with your archive and delivery needs before committing to annual billing.

Plan	Price and included storage	What it suits
Free	0.00 USD per free; 10GB photo storage, reduced to 3GB after 6 months, plus 1GB video storage	Trying client galleries, a print store and basic design and sales tools. The photo allowance shrinks after six months, so it is not a durable home for a growing archive.
Beginner	7.00 USD per month billed annually or $8 monthly; 20GB photo and 5GB video storage	Photographers needing custom branding and a modest paid storage increase, while accepting that premium galleries, slideshows and blogs are not included.
Professional	21.00 USD per month billed annually or $25 Monthly; 100GB photo and 30GB video storage	Studios that need premium galleries and print-store features, slideshows, blogs, vendor network and smart image search.
Advanced	42.00 USD per month billed annually or $50 Monthly; unlimited storage and 60GB video storage	High-volume photo workflows needing the Professional presentation features and smart search for clients. Additional brands cost $6/Mo per additional brand.

All plans include a mobile app, 24/7 support and a portfolio page. Free has the tightest storage ceiling, and Beginner remains limited to 20GB of photos and 5GB of video. Professional expands those allowances but still caps storage; Advanced removes the photo storage ceiling, not the 60GB video limit. The published price ladder makes Advanced a substantial step up from Professional, so it is most defensible when unlimited photo storage or multiple brands justify the added spend.

Platforms

Pic-Time supports Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows. The range accommodates mobile sharing as well as desktop and browser-based work across common operating systems.

Who it's for

Pic-Time is best suited to professional photographers and videographers who deliver client galleries and want print sales, branded presentation and fulfillment alongside them. Its integrations and website tools are useful for businesses connecting delivery to other studio systems or a WordPress presence. It is less attractive for someone seeking a low-cost, high-capacity video archive: even Advanced caps video storage at 60GB.

Pros and cons

Pros: Gallery delivery and print fulfillment are integrated, with more than 30 lab connections, online payments, automatic fulfillment and album building.
Pros: Private galleries support invitation-based access, secure links and optional access codes, useful for controlled client delivery.
Pros: Every plan includes an app, portfolio page and 24/7 support, while mobile uploads and sharing support work away from a desktop.
Cons: Free photo storage falls from 10GB to 3GB after six months, making the free tier a limited long-term option.
Cons: Beginner's 20GB photo and 5GB video limits may be restrictive for active studios, and premium galleries, slideshows and blogs require Professional or Advanced.
Cons: Advanced costs 42.00 USD per month billed annually or $50 Monthly, and its 60GB video allowance remains finite despite unlimited storage.

Alternatives

For gallery workflows, Picflow is another freemium option: its free plan includes 2 GB storage, 50 workflow credits, one seat and unlimited galleries and collaborators, so it may suit a small team that values collaboration over Pic-Time's print-store and lab fulfillment combination. picdrop has a free plan with 1 GB storage, three galleries and basic collaboration features; it is worth considering for a smaller gallery-and-collaboration setup.

For family sharing rather than a professional client-sales workflow, FamilyAlbum offers unlimited photo and video storage on its free version, plus 11 free prints per family member each month. Piwigo is an alternative with a free self-hosted plan. For simpler public album sharing, PixShare has a free plan limited to one album and 50 images, shared by unique public link. EventPics is another freemium option.

Flickr offers a free tier for 1,000 public photo and video uploads with ads, making it a different fit for public sharing. SlickPic is another freemium photo-sharing alternative. Browse Photo Sharing Software or Photo Proofing Software for more options in those categories.

Verdict

Choose Pic-Time if you are a photographer or videographer who wants client galleries, branded presentation and print fulfillment in one service. Its integrated store and lab network are the clearest reason to pick it. Look elsewhere if your priority is inexpensive, high-volume video storage or if the reduced Free allowance and annual-billing trade-off do not fit your workflow.
