Overview

Priceva tracks competitor prices across thousands of sites, with daily reporting and alerts when prices change. It also follows stock availability and discount changes, helping distinguish a genuine pricing shift from a promotion or an out-of-stock listing. MAP and MSRP monitoring adds a compliance use case for brands that need to identify sellers breaking advertised-price policies.

Rule-based repricing lets a retailer respond to competitor changes without editing every item manually. Analytics covering price trends, averages, and market positioning provide context for those rules and for broader commercial decisions. Amazon, Walmart, and Empik are named examples of marketplaces where seller offers can be monitored. The service is delivered through web and API access, with global market coverage and hybrid product matching.

Priceva Inc. was incorporated in Canada in June 2023 and is headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario. The homepage states that customer support typically responds in under two hours, seven days a week. Its privacy policy allows personal information to be shared with service providers such as analytics, payment, and CRM providers, including Google and SendPulse, which is relevant for organizations reviewing data-handling requirements.

Key features

Monitoring and market signals

Automated checks, multiple daily refreshes, change alerts, and scheduled reports make Priceva more suitable for continuous oversight than occasional manual comparisons. Tracking availability and discounts gives useful explanation around a price movement. MAP/MSRP alerts are particularly valuable to brands with channel-partner obligations, while trend and positioning reports help retailers judge whether a response is needed.

Repricing and data exchange

Rule-based repricing is the main operational advantage: teams can encode responses to competitor behavior instead of relying on one-off updates. Retail integrations support connections to commerce workflows. Plan comparisons include Excel, YML, XML, and scheduled FTP imports, plus Excel, CSV, XML, and JSON exports. API integration is offered on every subscription tier, so technical teams are not forced to upgrade solely to obtain programmatic access.

The trade-off is that monitoring capacity remains quota-driven. Multiple refreshes do not remove the monthly price-check ceiling, and competitor-site limits can restrict coverage before a retailer exhausts its product catalog.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Starter	Free	6,200 price checks/month, 20 competitors/sites, 1 monitoring region, 20 products, 1 user, no overage pricing	A small catalog or pilot that can live with one region and one seat.
Business	99.00 USD per month, billed $99/month	35,000 checks/month, 30 competitors/sites, 2 regions, unlimited products; additional checks $0.0029 each and additional sites $2.50	Growing retailers needing unlimited products and more than one region.
Pro	199.00 USD per month, billed $199/month	100,000 checks/month, 40 competitors/sites, unlimited regions and products; additional checks $0.002 each and additional sites $2.50	Teams with broad geographic coverage and heavier monitoring demand.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Custom check volumes (700K+), flexible competitor and region limits, custom features, SLA infrastructure, premium support, and flexible invoicing	Large operations that need negotiated capacity or service commitments.

Starter is genuinely usable for a tightly bounded test, but its 20-product, 20-site, one-region, one-user caps make it unsuitable for a broad assortment. Business removes the product ceiling but still limits regions and charges for overages. Pro costs twice as much yet adds unlimited regions, a larger site allowance, and a lower per-check overage rate. Enterprise is the route when standard quotas or support terms do not fit.

Platforms

Priceva runs on the web and exposes an API. Imports and exports across spreadsheet, XML, YML, FTP, CSV, and JSON formats support both operational and integration-oriented workflows.

Who it's for

Priceva is a strong match for e-commerce retailers and brands that monitor many rival sites, enforce MAP/MSRP policies, or want repricing rules tied to market movements. Business suits a growing catalog across two regions; Pro is better for international programs. Starter fits a proof of concept or a small assortment. Organizations needing broad native device coverage rather than web/API access should look elsewhere.

Verdict

Choose Priceva when competitor coverage, MAP/MSRP oversight, analytics, and rule-based repricing need to operate together, especially across multiple regions or a large catalog. Its main reason to look elsewhere is capacity economics: small teams may find the Starter limits restrictive, while organizations wanting simpler low-cost monitoring can find leaner alternatives.
