Overview

Retailgrid brings sales, costs, inventory, competitor prices and external signals into a spreadsheet-style workspace for pricing decisions. The combined view is useful when teams need to weigh multiple inputs rather than make isolated price changes. Its explainable recommendations and configured rules favor a structured pricing operation, not a shop looking only for occasional competitor checks.

Key features

Pricing and optimization

Rules-Based Pricing applies margin, competitor and minimum advertised price (MAP) rules across a catalog, giving retailers a way to maintain consistent guardrails. The Price Optimization agent aims to find prices that maximize margin or sales volume within configured constraints. Retailgrid also supports promotion and markdown optimization, price-elasticity analysis and continuous optimization. These capabilities make it relevant to teams managing prices as an ongoing discipline, but agents are absent from both Freemium and Starter.

Data, integrations and security

Shopify and Magento are native connections, with BigCommerce and WooCommerce also listed. Retailgrid supports data from Amazon (SP-API), eBay, bol., Google Shopping, Idealo and PriceRunner. For systems outside those connections, teams can import catalog, cost and sales data through CSV or API. That flexibility is helpful for varied retail stacks, though manual import is the only data-import method on Freemium.

Retailgrid says customer data is hosted in European regions on Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access. It says it processes personal data in line with GDPR. ISO 27001 and SOC 2 work is underway, but the company does not hold either certification.

Pricing

Retailgrid uses a freemium model, with paid plans starting at 349.00 EUR per month. Paid plans include onboarding and support without a separate implementation fee. Competitor monitoring is a separately priced layer: direct competitor domains cost €100-€300 per month each depending on site complexity, so retailers tracking several sites should factor that expense into their budget.

Plan	Price	Included and limits
Freemium	0.00 EUR per month	Up to 500 grid rows, no Agents, manual data import and 7-day data retention.
Starter	349.00 EUR per month	Up to 10,000 grid rows, no Agents, Retailgrid API, AI Chat support and 30-day data retention.
Growth	1999.00 EUR per month	Up to 50,000 grid rows, Core Agents, Retailgrid API, human chat and video calls, and 365-day data retention.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Up to 1,000,000 grid rows, all Agents, API plus custom integration, a dedicated CS Manager and 730-day data retention.

Freemium is a small-scale way to explore the grid, but 500 rows, no Agents and one week of retention constrain sustained use. Starter expands capacity and adds the API and AI Chat support, yet still excludes Agents. Growth is the first fit for retailers seeking agent-driven optimization and longer history, at a substantial jump from Starter. Enterprise is for larger catalogs or custom integration needs; its price is custom.

Platforms

Retailgrid is available on web and through an API, making it relevant to teams using the interface directly or connecting pricing work to other systems.

Who it's for

Retailgrid targets mid-market retailers in fashion, home and living, food and beverage, electronics, hardware and DIY, auto parts, and health and beauty. It is best suited to teams with enough catalog complexity to benefit from rules, optimization and combined data inputs. A small retailer needing only basic monitoring may not make use of the broader workflow or justify separate competitor-domain charges.

Pros and cons

Pros: Combines retail data inputs with pricing rules and optimization, giving teams a common workspace for decisions across a catalog.
Pros: CSV and API imports accommodate systems beyond the named integrations.
Pros: Paid plans include onboarding and support without a separate implementation fee.
Cons: The two lowest tiers have no Agents, limiting access to optimization workflows unless a retailer moves to Growth.
Cons: Freemium has only 500 rows and 7-day retention; even Starter retains data for just 30 days.
Cons: Competitor monitoring adds €100-€300 per month per direct competitor domain.
Cons: ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification are not yet held.

Alternatives

Retail Pricing Software is a category list for comparing retail pricing tools, while Competitor Price Monitoring Software focuses on monitoring options.

Pricefy is worth considering for a lower-cost monitoring entry point: its free plan covers up to 50 SKUs and five competitors, and Starter is 37.00 USD per month.
DynamicPricing.ai may suit a smaller operation focused on price tests and rules, with a free tier for one test and one rule across up to 50 products each, and a 75.00 USD per month Starter plan.
EDITED Pricing is an alternative for teams seeking a pricing platform module with custom pricing.
SAS Visual Statistics is a choice for enterprise-scale statistical modeling on SAS Viya.
Shopify is an alternative for retailers prioritizing a commerce platform with inventory locations and staff accounts.
Price2Spy is an alternative for competitor monitoring with mobile apps and price-change alerts.
Prisync may fit teams that want URL-based monitoring, with its Professional plan at 99.00 USD per month for up to 100 products and unlimited competitors.
NIQ is another paid alternative.

Verdict

Retailgrid is a strong fit for mid-market retailers that need catalog-wide pricing controls and agent-driven optimization informed by several retail data sources. Its main reason to choose it is the combination of rules, optimization and import flexibility in one workflow; its main reason to look elsewhere is the cost of reaching agent access and the extra per-domain charge for competitor monitoring.
