Overview

Roofr’s CRM combines a job board with customer communications, automations, invoicing, and material ordering. Custom proposals and an Instant Estimator connect homeowner estimates to job-board follow-up, which can help contractors keep sales and operations together. The suite may be more than needed for a business seeking measurements alone.

Key features

Measurement reports include roof details such as total squares, pitch, and edges. They are pay-as-you-go, with no bulk packages: this works for variable demand, but contractors ordering reports regularly should budget for each one. Starter reports cost $19 and are delivered within 24 hours or less; Measure+ reports cost $13, with guaranteed two- or six-hour delivery.

The proposal tool supports custom materials and pricing, plus e-signatures. Instant Estimator uses contractor-set pricing to give homeowners estimates and sends job details to the job board, linking initial interest with follow-up work.

Integrations include Google Calendar, Gmail, CompanyCam, Zapier, and suppliers ABC Supply, QXO, and SRS Roofhub. QuickBooks is still in beta, works only for U.S. businesses, and does not support QuickBooks Desktop, so it is a poor fit for teams that depend on that edition.

Roofr runs in a browser on modern iOS and Android devices; there is no separate store app. Support is offered by chat, phone, or email seven days a week. Paid subscribers can also receive unlimited onboarding calls and a dedicated account manager.

Pricing

Starter is free and includes one basic job board, unlimited users, five automated actions, and 10 trial proposals, invoices, and work orders. Reports cost $19 each and arrive within 24 hours or less. It is a useful way to begin, but the trial cap and basic board constrain ongoing sales and job administration.

Measure+ costs $109/mo billed monthly or $209/mo billed yearly. It includes $13 reports, $10 USD ESX files per report, two- or six-hour guaranteed delivery, material calculations, waste factor, CSV downloads, and unlimited users. Its faster delivery and measurement tools suit contractors focused on estimating; the report and ESX charges remain additional costs.

Essentials costs $249.00 USD per month billed monthly, or $209/mo billed yearly. It adds one flexible job board, unlimited proposals, invoices, and work orders, 10 automated actions, card and ACH payments, unlimited e-signatures, and unlimited users. It fits teams moving beyond Starter’s trial transactions, though its automation allowance is lower than Scale’s.

Scale costs $349.00 USD per month billed monthly, or $299/mo billed yearly. It includes seven customizable job boards, crew management, 25+ automated actions, a performance dashboard, job costs, QuickBooks integration, role-based permissions, and unlimited users. This is the stronger fit for larger or more structured operations, but QuickBooks’ beta and U.S.-only limits still apply. Roofr also offers custom pricing for businesses whose needs do not match these plans.

Platforms

Roofr is available on the web and works through a browser on modern iOS and Android devices. Its browser-based mobile access avoids a separate app download, but users should not expect a dedicated App Store or Google Play app.

Who it's for

Roofr is best for roofing contractors who want estimates, proposals, job tracking, and billing connected, with a free entry point and pay-as-you-go reports. It is less compelling for businesses that only need measurements, rely on QuickBooks Desktop, or need a dedicated mobile app.

Pros and cons

Connected sales and operations: estimates, proposals, job boards, invoicing, and material ordering sit within one suite.
Flexible report purchasing: pay-as-you-go reports avoid a bulk commitment, but recurring orders add per-report costs.
Generous user access: all four plans include unlimited users, while Starter limits automation and offers only trial transactions.
Mobile access without an app: browser support covers modern iOS and Android devices, but there is no dedicated app download.
QuickBooks constraints: integration is beta, U.S.-only, and excludes QuickBooks Desktop.

Verdict

Roofr is a strong choice for roofing contractors who want to connect estimating and proposals with job-board and billing workflows, and who can budget for reports separately. Choose it for the free entry plan and broad operational suite; look elsewhere if QuickBooks Desktop support, a dedicated mobile app, or bundled measurement volume is essential.
