Overview

Sign.Plus is an electronic-signature service for people and organizations that need to send, sign, track, and manage agreements. It is strongest for recurring workflows that benefit from templates, storage connections, and flexible signer order; its free allowance is too small for ongoing use.

Its range extends from individual signing to enterprise controls, but the right plan depends on how many people send documents and how often they need signatures.

Key features

Signing workflows

Senders can collect signatures remotely or in person, set signer order and workflow steps, and receive real-time notifications. Both ordered and parallel signing are supported, which helps match the process to the agreement. Audit trails provide a record of document activity. Bulk sending is useful for repeated outreach, though the value of that capability depends on having enough monthly requests.

Templates and integrations

Reusable templates with fillable fields and dynamic variables can reduce setup for recurring forms. Sign.Plus connects with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Zapier, and its eSignature API. Storage connections include Google Drive, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive, giving teams several ways to work with documents across services they may already use.

Compliance and security

The company says Sign.Plus supports ESIGN, eIDAS, and ZertES, including Qualified Electronic Signatures. It says signed files use 256-bit AES encryption with unique keys per user and TLS 1.3. Alohi lists ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, eIDAS, and CCPA among its standards. These credentials may matter to regulated buyers, but enterprise-specific safeguards such as SSO, data residency, and HIPAA compliance with a BAA are reserved for Enterprise.

Pricing

Sign.Plus uses a freemium model, with a 14-day trial and paid plans from $9.99/mo. The free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes three signature requests total and one template. It is a low-commitment way to try the service, not a durable option for regular signing.

Personal costs 9.99 USD per month, billed monthly, for one user, 10 signature requests per month, and five templates. It suits an individual with modest, predictable volume, but the single seat and request cap quickly constrain a growing workload.

Professional has custom pricing and supports up to five users, unlimited signature requests, and 10 templates. It may fit a small team that needs uncapped sending, but its template allowance is lower than the unlimited templates on the higher plans.

Business costs 29.99 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes multiple users, unlimited signature requests, and unlimited templates. It is the clearer fit for teams with recurring volume and shared template needs. Enterprise costs 49.99 USD per month, billed monthly, and has the same listed user, request, and template allowances, while adding SSO, HIPAA compliance with BAA, PHIPA compliance with Agent Agreement, advanced security controls, data residency, and priority support. That premium is aimed at organizations with specific security or support requirements rather than teams seeking more signing capacity.

Platforms

Sign.Plus is available on Android, iOS, and the web, with an API and an extension also listed. This mix accommodates mobile and browser-based signing as well as programmatic integration, though the platform list alone does not establish how any particular integration works.

Who it's for

Individuals and sole proprietors can start with Personal if 10 requests a month are enough. Small and medium businesses are better served by Professional or Business as more senders, requests, or reusable templates become necessary. Enterprise is the relevant tier for organizations needing its added compliance controls, data residency, or priority support. People who only need occasional signatures may find the free plan sufficient, but its three-request lifetime cap makes it a brief starting point.

Pros and cons

Pros

Flexible remote and in-person workflows, with ordered or parallel signing, steps, and notifications.
Templates, bulk sending, audit trails, and multiple storage connections support repeatable document processes.
Enterprise adds SSO, data residency, and named compliance and support provisions for organizations that need them.

Cons

The free plan stops at three requests total, so it cannot serve as a recurring free tier.
Personal is limited to one user and 10 requests a month, a tight ceiling for teams or steady document volume.
Professional has custom pricing, making cost comparison harder, and includes only 10 templates.

Alternatives

Dropbox Sign is worth considering if its free allowance of three requests per month better suits occasional signing than Sign.Plus's three-request lifetime cap.

SignRequest may suit users who value a free allowance of 10 documents per user per month; its professional plan is priced at 9.00 EUR per month for one user.

Skribble is an option for buyers who prefer a pay-per-signature Starter plan, with listed SES, AES, and QES rates, rather than a monthly request allowance.

DigiSigner is another e-signature option to compare.

Signority API is another e-signature option to compare.

sproof sign offers a private plan for individuals, students, and associations, making it a comparison point for private use.

Jotform is worth comparing if the need centers on forms and submissions: its free Starter plan includes five forms and 100 monthly submissions.

Xodo Sign is another e-signature option to compare.

Verdict

Sign.Plus is a solid fit for people and teams that need configurable signing, reusable templates, storage connections, and a path from individual use to enterprise controls. Its strongest reason to choose it is the combination of workflow flexibility and broad document connections. Look elsewhere if you need a genuinely usable ongoing free plan, or if predictable pricing and generous capacity for a small team matter more than its enterprise options.
