Overview

Shipper TMS handles a vehicle move from order creation through payment, with electronic documentation and real-time tracking. Carrier TMS and the Driver App support load management, eBOLs, inspections, GPS tracking, billing, and reporting. That breadth makes Super Dispatch relevant to both sides of auto transport, but Lite is a deliberately narrow entry point rather than a full dispatch workflow.

Key features

Carrier tools combine load handling, inspections, electronic bills of lading, billing, reporting, and location visibility. Map schedule views and live tracking can help dispatchers follow vehicle movements, while the Driver App extends the workflow to Android and iOS. Lite excludes GPS tracking and advanced reporting, so a free account is a poor fit for teams that need dispatch visibility or performance oversight.

Shipper TMS covers the shipment lifecycle through payment. Shipper Pro also supports personalized virtual onboarding with a dedicated specialist, and SuperProtect is a paid add-on that surfaces carrier risk signals using account activity, FMCSA data, platform behavior, and historical context. The add-on gives shippers another risk input, but it is an extra cost rather than part of the base plan.

Integrations include REST APIs, EDI with OpenText, Glovis, and ICL Systems, Zapier, and QuickBooks Online or Desktop. API access is subscription-based and can automate loads, drivers, statuses, and operational data synchronization; businesses relying on API workflows should budget for that separate subscription. Super Dispatch completes an annual SOC 2 Type II audit through an independent AICPA-accredited evaluator, and encrypts data in transit and stored data with AES-256.

Pricing

Super Dispatch uses a freemium model, with paid plans starting at $55 per user per month. The free trial is available, and the free Carrier TMS Lite plan costs 0.00 USD per free.

Carrier TMS Lite — 0.00 USD per free: Includes the Driver App, a limited Carrier TMS dashboard, and Super Loadboard. It suits a single driver or small owner-operator testing a basic workflow, but excludes advanced reporting, automated invoicing, GPS tracking, and integrations. Those omissions make it limiting once dispatch depends on automation or live visibility.
Carrier Pro — 55.00 USD per month: Billed starting at $55/month per seat, with the first seat at $55/month and each additional seat at $50/month. Seat-based pricing makes costs rise with the carrier team, so it is a more practical choice than Lite for operations that need the paid carrier workflow, but less attractive for growing teams that need predictable flat-rate pricing. Carrier Pro includes priority phone, email, or chat support from 7 am to 7 pm CT.
Shipper Pro — 159.00 USD per month: Starts at $159/month and includes two seats; additional seats cost $79/month. Monthly VIN limits vary by tier and overage fees may apply. It is aimed at shippers, brokers, dealers, auctions, and fleet leasing businesses, but buyers should match the VIN allowance and expected shipment volume before committing.

Platforms

Super Dispatch is available on Android, iOS, web, and browser extension, with API access also supported. The mobile Driver App serves drivers on Android and iOS, while web and API access suit office dispatch and connected systems.

Who it's for

Shippers, brokers, dealers, auctions, and fleet leasing businesses are the intended audience for Shipper Pro. Carriers that manage multiple drivers or need tracking, reporting, billing, and integrations should compare Carrier Pro with the Lite plan's exclusions and per-seat charges. Solo drivers with simple needs can begin on Lite, provided they can do without GPS tracking, automated invoicing, advanced reporting, and integrations.

Pros and cons

Pro: Shipper and carrier workflows sit in one platform, spanning order creation, documentation, tracking, load management, and billing.
Pro: Android and iOS driver apps, map scheduling, and live location tracking support mobile dispatch visibility on paid workflows.
Pro: EDI, Zapier, QuickBooks, and REST API options can connect operations to business systems, with API automation for loads, drivers, and statuses.
Con: Lite omits GPS tracking, automated invoicing, advanced reporting, and integrations, limiting its usefulness beyond simple owner-operator needs.
Con: Carrier Pro charges by seat, while Shipper Pro has tiered VIN limits and possible overage fees; both can make costs depend on team size or throughput.
Con: SuperProtect and API access are additional paid features, so buyers who depend on risk signals or API automation must account for separate subscriptions or add-on charges.

Alternatives

For broader trucking software comparisons, browse Trucking Software or Dispatch Software.

Axon Software is a paid alternative with a free trial and Android, iOS, web, and Windows support.
Numeo is worth considering for a freemium option with a one-seat Spot Free plan and a Spot Pro plan billed annually.
TruckLogics offers a free trial and annual plans for owner-operators with 1–2 trucks and leased operators.
Degama DTMS may suit buyers willing to evaluate access through a representative; it has a trial but no free plan.
DENEMO has a free trial and per-truck pricing that starts at $50/month for 1–5 trucks.
OpenRoad TMS charges per billed load and offers a free trial, which may suit businesses that prefer load-based rather than seat-based costs.
Ditat is another paid option with Android, iOS, web, and API platforms; pricing is available by contacting sales.
Dr Dispatch may fit teams seeking self-hosted or Windows support, with a per-user monthly subscription and included support.

Verdict

Super Dispatch is a strong fit for auto-transport businesses that want shipper and carrier operations, driver tools, and shipment visibility in one platform. Its free Lite tier offers a low-commitment start for a solo operator, but the missing tracking, invoicing, reporting, and integrations are material. Choose a paid tier when those workflows matter, and look elsewhere if seat costs, VIN limits, or paid API and risk features do not fit the way your operation scales.
