Overview

Spoors combines field workflows with invoicing and payments, customer portals, recurring jobs, route optimization, and attendance and leave management. Attendance and Leave Management is included free with every plan, providing a useful staff-management foundation alongside operational work.

Real-time dashboards and more than 80 pre-built reports give managers broad visibility into activity. More than 60 workflow templates can shorten the path to a usable process, while integrations with more than 14 business tools help connect existing systems. Spoors reports more than 150 enterprise customers, 50,000 active users, and over 2 million activities processed through workflows each day, indicating a product aimed beyond very small field teams.

Key features

Offline field operations

Spoors is designed as an offline-first platform, so mobile workers can continue field activity when connectivity is unreliable. Android and iOS apps cover both major mobile ecosystems, and web access gives administrators a browser-based view. That combination is particularly relevant to distributed teams working in areas with inconsistent service.

Workflow and reporting

Templates, dashboards, and pre-built reports support standardized execution and ongoing oversight. The practical trade-off is capacity: the Basic plan allows one workflow and 10 forms, actions, and activities, while Advanced raises those allowances to five workflows and 50 forms, actions, and activities. Teams with several distinct processes may outgrow Basic quickly.

Security and administration

ISO 27001 certification, encryption, access controls, and GDPR and regional compliance support a more controlled deployment. IT administrators can centrally assign granular permissions by user authorization, which is useful when field, supervisory, and administrative responsibilities must be separated.

Pricing

Spoors uses a freemium model. Paid plans include a free 14-day trial and are billed monthly; paid pricing starts at $12 per user per month.

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Free	Free	1,000 tasks per month	Small teams validating a basic workload
Basic	12.00 USD per month	Unlimited activities, one workflow, and 10 forms, actions, and activities; 14-day trial	Teams with one defined process
Advanced	15.00 USD per month	Unlimited activities, five workflows, and 50 forms, actions, and activities; 14-day trial	Operations managing several workflows
Enterprise	22.00 USD per month	Unlimited activities and unlimited forms; 14-day trial	Organizations needing broad form capacity
Premier Enterprise	Custom pricing	Minimum 200 users	Large deployments meeting the user minimum

The Free plan's 1,000-task monthly ceiling makes it suitable for limited or pilot use, not unrestricted operations. Basic removes the activity quota but its single workflow and 10-form allowance can constrain teams with varied jobs. Advanced costs slightly more while expanding process capacity substantially. Enterprise is the clearest choice when forms are numerous; Premier Enterprise is reserved for deployments of at least 200 users. Support varies by plan and can include email, phone, training, a customer success manager, and migration assistance, so buyers should match required service to the selected tier.

Platforms

Spoors runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Mobile coverage supports field personnel, while the web application suits office-based coordination and administration.

Who it's for

Spoors is a strong candidate for organizations coordinating mobile work across multiple operational processes, especially where offline use, route planning, recurring jobs, customer access, and structured reporting matter together. It is less suitable for a team whose needs fit one simple workflow but who expects extensive forms, because Basic's limits arrive quickly. Larger IT-managed deployments benefit from centralized permissions and the security controls, while Premier Enterprise's 200-user minimum excludes smaller organizations seeking that tier.

Pros and cons

Pros

Offline-first operation: Field staff can work despite unreliable connectivity.
Broad operational coverage: Invoicing, payments, portals, recurring jobs, route optimization, and attendance are combined.
Strong oversight: Real-time dashboards, more than 80 reports, and over 60 templates support standardized management.
Administrative controls: Granular permissions, encryption, access controls, and ISO 27001 certification support governed deployments.
Accessible entry pricing: A free tier and paid plans from $12 per user per month lower the barrier to adoption.

Cons

Entry-tier constraints: Basic permits only one workflow and 10 forms, actions, and activities.
Free-plan ceiling: 1,000 tasks per month limits ongoing use for busier teams.
Support is plan-dependent: Access to phone, training, customer success, or migration help varies by tier.
Premier Enterprise threshold: A minimum of 200 users rules out smaller organizations.

Alternatives

Consider ServiceM8 when a free plan with one user and 30 jobs per month, plus Android, iOS, and macOS support, matches a smaller operation. ReachOut Suite is an option for teams wanting a forever-free plan capped at 25 jobs with limited features across Android, iOS, and web.

Choose Salesforce Field Service instead when paid enterprise scheduling and route optimization justify its $175-per-month Dispatcher plan, billed annually. IFS Cloud Field Service Management and ServiceMax are alternatives with custom pricing. Joblogic suits buyers seeking a paid, no-free-plan product with a £45-per-month Standard plan billed annually. Odyssee Field Service starts at €35 per user per month and requires at least three users. Jobber is a paid alternative whose Core plan starts at $29 per month billed annually, with different commitment options.

Verdict

Spoors is best for growing field-operations teams that need offline mobile execution, configurable workflows, reporting, and centralized control in one platform. Its main reason to choose it is the combination of broad operational features and low-cost entry tiers. Look elsewhere if your organization needs many workflows on the cheapest paid plan, a free plan without a tight task quota, or enterprise support without a large-user commitment.
