Overview

The catalog contains more than 29.69 million stock images, 307.15 thousand HD videos and 4.41 million vectors. That breadth suits campaigns and content programs that move between photography, footage and illustration without changing suppliers. Search filters for color hue, number of people, text space and orientation are practical when an asset must match a specific layout.

Images are supplied as JPEG, vectors as EPS or SVG, and videos as MP4 or MOV. Commercial, editorial and extended-license use are supported, with unlimited maximum resolution. Standard and extended royalty-free terms apply, and an account license covers the account owner and employees rather than unrelated users.

Key features

Stock media: The combination of image, HD video and vector libraries covers common creative production needs in one subscription, with the image and vector counts particularly substantial.
AI generation: A text-prompt generator offers photographic, digital-art and cinematic styles. It is useful for creating a starting visual or filling a gap in a stock search, but it complements rather than replaces the catalog.
Upscaling: The image tool provides 2x, 3x and 4x enlargement. Those fixed factors are straightforward for preparing a smaller source for a larger placement.
File delivery: Familiar JPEG, EPS, SVG, MP4 and MOV formats reduce conversion work in typical design and video workflows.
Account and security: Data transfers use industry-standard encryption, and credit-card numbers are not stored on Yay Images servers. Support inquiries are typically handled within 2–3 business days.

The footer references an API, but no integration or API capability is described. Automated downloading or streaming through scripts is prohibited. Yay Images also reserves the right to cap a single-seat unlimited account at 30 downloads per day, an important constraint for automated or high-volume production.

Pricing

Yay Images uses a freemium model. A free account provides 10 image, vector or footage downloads every day after registration, making it suitable for learners, prototypes and occasional social or editorial work. It does not provide the predictable rights or throughput of a paid allocation.

Plan	Price and allowance	Best fit and trade-off
Free account downloads	Free; 10 downloads daily	Casual users who can work within a daily cap.
50 Credits	50.00 USD per month, billed as a one-time payment; 50 credits	Projects needing a defined credit bundle rather than unlimited access.
Unlimited Plan	Starting from $8.25/month; monthly $11.99 billed every month, quarterly $24.99 every 3 months, or yearly $99 every 12 months. Unlimited downloads, extended license, single seat and $25,000 copyright protection guarantee.	A solo creator with recurring demand; the single-seat structure and possible 30-download daily cap matter for volume work.
Unlimited Single Seat	Custom pricing; 1 seat	One-user teams seeking an unlimited arrangement, subject to account terms.
Lifetime Membership	Custom pricing; 5 downloads per day	Users preferring a non-recurring membership who can accept a modest daily allowance.

The Unlimited Plan is the clearest value for regular individual use, while the free tier avoids commitment. Teams should account for the one-seat limitation: the license is not a general pool for contractors or clients, and scripts cannot be used to pull assets automatically.

Platforms

Yay Images is delivered through the web. No native desktop or mobile platform is identified, so production teams should expect browser-based access.

Who it's for

The service suits startups, entrepreneurs, freelancers and agencies, as well as creators who need mixed media and occasional AI generation. It is a stronger fit when one licensed account can cover the work and daily demand remains within the download rules. Organizations needing multiple named users, automated pipelines or consistently high daily volume should look for a service whose licensing and API terms explicitly support those workflows.

Pros and cons

Pros

Very large image, video and vector collections support varied briefs.
Color, people, text-space and orientation filters make layout-led searching more precise.
Prompt generation and 2x–4x upscaling add useful production steps beside stock downloads.
Free accounts receive 10 downloads per day, providing a meaningful way to evaluate the service.
Paid unlimited access includes an extended license and a $25,000 copyright protection guarantee.

Cons

Single-seat licensing limits sharing across a wider team.
Scripted downloading and streaming are prohibited, and unlimited single-seat accounts may be capped at 30 downloads daily.
Lifetime Membership allows only five downloads per day.
API availability is referenced without described capabilities, making integration planning uncertain.
Support response typically takes 2–3 business days, which may be slow for urgent production issues.

Alternatives

For a broad comparison of illustration-focused libraries, see Stock Illustration Websites; for photography-oriented services, compare Stock Photo Websites.

Rawpixel is the better choice when a free forever plan with 10 creative assets per day and 100 MB of cloud storage, plus a free trial, matches your needs.
Ouch! by Icons8 suits users who need illustrations across Android, iOS, desktop and web, with free assets available when attribution is acceptable.
Adobe Stock is preferable for buyers seeking a paid Adobe Stock catalog with standard-asset and video bundles.
Bigstock fits teams wanting explicit daily image packages such as five or 10 images per day.
IllustCenter is an illustration-focused alternative with free transparent PNG downloads.
Pixabay is the straightforward option for free media downloads, with sign-up required for full-resolution photo and video downloads.
SuperStock is aimed at paid stock use, including a student license with monthly image and video allowances.
Blush is better for illustration workflows centered on free unlimited downloads and one-click customization.

Verdict

Choose Yay Images if you are a freelancer, startup or agency that wants a broad stock catalog plus generation and upscaling in one browser service, especially with the free daily allowance or an individual unlimited plan. Look elsewhere if your operation depends on shared seats, scripted acquisition or reliably more than 30 downloads a day, because its licensing and download controls can become the limiting factor.
