Overview

Rather than treating tasks as an undifferentiated list, Week Plan organizes work around urgency, importance, and longer-term objectives. Users can set quarterly goals and key results, then link daily tasks to those objectives. That structure is valuable for people who regularly review progress against goals; it may be more machinery than needed for someone who just wants a quick place to jot down errands.

Week Plan combines several planning rhythms: weekly layouts, timed focus sessions, recurring tasks, and automatic rollover for unfinished work. Teams can create separate workspaces for projects, assign tasks, and discuss them in comments. The key trade-off is that it requires an internet connection and does not work offline, making it a poor choice for unreliable connectivity or offline planning.

Key features

Priorities, goals, and weekly planning

The Quadrant View applies the Eisenhower Matrix, sorting tasks by urgency and importance. This can help users protect high-impact work from being crowded out by merely pressing tasks, though the value depends on maintaining those priorities rather than simply filling in the planner. Quarterly goals, key results, milestone tracking, goal templates, scheduled goal reviews, and advanced progress views give users ways to connect daily activity with longer-term aims.

The weekly view offers vertical, horizontal, dashboard, and hourly layouts. That choice accommodates different ways of organizing a week, from a broad overview to time-specific scheduling. Tasks can be dragged into a schedule, set to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly, and rolled forward automatically if unfinished. Rollover reduces manual upkeep, but recurring and carried-over tasks still need active review to keep a schedule useful.

Focus and team workflows

The Pomodoro timer runs 25-minute focus cycles followed by five-minute breaks and tracks time automatically. It is useful for people who like structured work intervals, while those who do not use timed sessions may get less from this part of the planner.

Team workspaces separate projects, support task assignments, and keep discussion in comments. Google Calendar and Outlook synchronization, along with Zapier connections to over 1,000 apps, give Week Plan routes to other tools. MFA using time-based one-time passwords, industry-standard encryption, and secure infrastructure address account security. Support is available through in-app chat or the Support Center.

Pricing

Week Plan uses a freemium model, with a free plan and paid access from $8.67/mo (annual). A 7-day trial is also available. The free Lite plan is free and includes basic planner features and High Impact Tasks (HITs). It is a sensible starting point for an individual who wants to try the core planning approach, but it does not include the wider set of paid capabilities described for Ultimate.

Ultimate costs 8.67 USD per month (billed billed annually). It includes essential planning tools, HITs, team collaboration support, OKR management, customizable roles, and Google/Outlook calendar synchronization. It is the better fit for people who need goals and team workflows alongside scheduling. The quoted monthly rate is tied to annual billing, so it should not be treated as a month-to-month price.

Platforms

Week Plan is available on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. Mobile apps make it accessible away from a desktop, but the service still requires an internet connection; platform coverage does not provide offline use.

Who it's for

Week Plan fits goal-oriented individuals who want to prioritize weekly work and measure progress toward quarterly targets. Its team workspaces, assignments, comments, and customizable roles make it relevant to groups coordinating projects as well. It is less suitable for people seeking only a minimal to-do list, or for anyone whose work routinely takes them offline.

Pros and cons

Pros: The Eisenhower-based Quadrant View and linked goals help connect task choices to objective progress.
Pros: Multiple weekly layouts, recurring tasks, and automatic rollover accommodate different planning habits and reduce scheduling upkeep.
Pros: Team workspaces, assignments, comments, and calendar synchronization support shared planning in one workflow.
Cons: It cannot work offline, which rules it out for planning without an internet connection.
Cons: The Ultimate monthly rate is billed annually, a commitment worth weighing before choosing the paid plan.
