Overview

Sugester brings CRM, helpdesk, live chat, and project coordination together with a knowledge base, forum, email, and VoIP. That range makes it a practical fit for teams managing customer follow-up alongside service requests and internal tasks. It is less compelling if a team needs a dedicated tool for just one of those jobs or expects generous capacity at the entry tier.

The CRM tracks customer profiles and interaction history, with reminders, grouping, reporting, and deal tracking. The helpdesk gathers email, phone calls, and other messages in one inbox, with ticket assignment and canned responses. Website chat is embedded with a code snippet and includes visitor viewing, push notifications, and offline messages. Teams can assign tasks, organize them in projects and subprojects, and track completion time. Integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, Gmail, Mailgun, Plivo, WordPress, eBay, GitHub, Dropbox, and Mailchimp.

Key features

Customer management: Profiles, history, reminders, grouping, reporting, and deal tracking make Sugester more than a contact list, particularly for teams that need to connect relationship management with support.
Unified support: Bringing several message types into one inbox gives teams a shared place to assign tickets; canned responses help with recurring questions.
Website chat: Live visitor viewing and push notifications suit teams able to respond in real time, while offline messages retain a path for visitors when agents are unavailable.
Project coordination: Tasks, projects, subprojects, and completion-time tracking provide follow-through after customer conversations without requiring a separate task workflow.
Integrations and API: The listed services span commerce, email, communications, and development tools, and Sugester links to API documentation from its integrations page.

Pricing

Sugester has a free forever plan and a free 30-day trial with no credit card required. Paid plans are billed monthly, and the price steps do not always correspond to a higher user limit until the Max tier.

Free — 0.00 USD per free: 3 users, 100 monthly email sends, 100 clients/email lists, 2 email boxes, 3 projects, and 1 GB storage. It is a low-risk starting point, but the email and storage ceilings make it a constrained long-term home for active support work.
Start — 12.00 USD per month: Also limited to 3 users, it raises monthly sends to 1,000 and clients/email lists to 1,000, with 3 email boxes, 5 projects, and 5 GB storage. It suits a small team needing more capacity than Free, but not a larger seat count.
Pro — 12.00 USD per month: For the same monthly price as Start, it allows 5 users, 1,000 monthly email sends per agent, 1,000 clients/email lists, 10 email boxes, 30 projects, and 5 GB storage per agent. It is the clearer choice when extra seats, mailboxes, or projects matter; compare the per-agent send and storage allowances against your likely usage.
Max — 25.00 USD per month: Unlimited users, 5,000 monthly sends per agent, 20,000 clients/email lists, 30 email boxes, 5 live chats, and 10 GB storage per agent make this the first stated tier for teams needing substantial headroom and multiple chats.
Enterprise — 50.00 USD per month: Unlimited users, 10,000 monthly sends per agent, 100,000 clients/email lists, unlimited email boxes and live chats, and 30 GB storage per agent target larger operations with heavier communication and storage needs.

Support is offered through live chat, phone, or email. Teams should choose by the limiting quota as much as by headline price: Start does not add seats over Free, while Pro's per-agent allowances differ from Start's fixed monthly send and storage totals.

Platforms

Sugester offers browser-based cloud access without installation or setup, alongside Android and iOS apps and an API. A self-hosted version is available by inquiry; it requires a server with at least 8 GB RAM, Ubuntu Server, nginx, and MySQL. That option may suit organizations that can manage the specified server environment, but it is not an instant substitute for the browser service.

Who it's for

Sugester is best suited to small customer-facing teams that want CRM records, support handling, chat, and project follow-up close together. The Free plan can support a small trial of the workflow, while Pro gives three more seats than Start at the same stated monthly price. Teams with high email volume, many clients, or significant storage needs should budget for Max or Enterprise; those wanting a focused CRM or helpdesk should compare specialist choices instead.

Pros and cons

Pros: CRM, multichannel support, website chat, and project work share one product, reducing the need to coordinate those workflows across separate tools.
Pros: The no-card 30-day trial and free forever tier let teams evaluate the product without an initial subscription commitment.
Pros: Max and Enterprise remove user caps and raise communication and storage allowances for growing teams.
Cons: Free and Start both stop at 3 users, and Free caps monthly email sends at 100, making them poor fits for a growing support queue.
Cons: Self-hosting requires a specified Linux and database stack and an 8 GB RAM minimum, so it demands technical capacity.
Cons: The Pro tier's send and storage quotas are per agent, unlike Start's fixed totals, so teams need to account for the distinction when estimating capacity.

Alternatives

For a community-first product, compare Customer Community Software; for task-focused tools, see Task Management Software. Teams prioritizing a dedicated support desk can browse Help desk software, while those centered on sales records can start with CRM Software.

Freshdesk is worth comparing for a support-led team: it has a free plan for 1–2 agents lasting 6 months, followed by a Growth plan at 19.00 USD per month billed annually. Zoho Desk is another helpdesk alternative, with a free tier for 3 users and paid plans priced in INR. For a self-hosted community platform, Discourse offers a free, open-source codebase, while Circle is a paid community platform with a Professional plan at 89.00 USD per month on annual billing. Readers considering Zapnito, Hivebrite, Salesforce Experience Cloud, or Answerbase should compare their requirements and pricing directly with Sugester.

Verdict

Choose Sugester if a small team wants customer management, support, and project follow-up under one roof, with a free entry point and a route to higher-capacity plans. Its main advantage is that operational breadth; its main reason to look elsewhere is the tight user and usage ceilings at the lower tiers, or the server demands of self-hosting.
