Overview

Tiimo uses a hybrid planning method: scheduled calendar events sit alongside to-do items, recurring tasks and focus sessions. Gentle nudges and adjustable presentation are aimed at reducing the friction of executive-function work rather than forcing every user into a rigid timetable. Tiimo was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The app was designed with neurodivergent users in mind, while its tools can also suit anyone who benefits from reminders, visual cues and flexible routines. Profiles, fonts, sounds and visual elements can be changed, so the interface can be adapted to personal sensory and organizational preferences.

Key features

Calendar-and-task planning

Recurring tasks support repeatable routines, while calendar syncing keeps appointments alongside actions that need doing. Google, iCloud and Outlook calendars can be imported. Outlook and Exchange users must first connect those calendars to Google Calendar, adding an extra setup step. iCloud import is not currently available on Android.

AI co-planner

Tiimo’s AI co-planner turns a broad idea into structured tasks, divides work into smaller steps and estimates how long it may take. That is useful when starting is harder than scheduling: the app can provide a workable sequence instead of leaving one large, vague item on a list. The co-planner runs on iOS and the web app only, so Android users do not receive this part of the product.

Focus and customization

Focus sessions, reminders and gentle nudges complement the calendar and task views. Custom visuals, sounds, fonts and profiles give users control over how information and prompts appear, which is more meaningful for people with differing attention or sensory needs than a fixed presentation.

Privacy and support

Tiimo says it uses encryption, firewalls and access controls, does not sell personal data, and shares only what providers need under GDPR obligations. Data may be retained for up to two years after cancellation before deletion. Support is available through the FAQ chat or by email. Two accounts cannot be merged, so people consolidating separate accounts must choose one to continue.

Pricing

Plan	Price and terms	What you get
Free	Free	Selected planning tools on iOS and Android; web app excluded
Tiimo Pro monthly	Custom pricing; billed monthly and charged immediately	All features across platforms
Tiimo Pro yearly	Custom pricing; billed for the full year; 7-day free trial	All features across platforms

The free tier is a useful way to establish whether Tiimo’s visual approach fits, but it omits the web app and selected tools, limiting cross-device use. Monthly Pro suits users who want full access without an annual commitment. Yearly Pro is the better fit for sustained use if you are comfortable paying for the full term after the seven-day trial; the subscription is otherwise custom-priced rather than published as a fixed amount.

Platforms

Tiimo is available on Android, iOS, macOS and the web. The free plan covers the iOS and Android apps only, while Pro unlocks features across platforms. Android users should note both the missing iCloud import and the absence of the AI co-planner. iOS and web users get the broadest feature set.

Who it's for

Choose Tiimo if you need a visual routine planner that can combine appointments, recurring chores, focused work and flexible reminders. It is especially appropriate for people with ADHD, Autism or other executive-function needs, and for anyone who benefits from tailoring sounds, typography and visual density. It is less suitable when Android access to iCloud calendars or AI task breakdown is essential, or when you need to merge two existing accounts.

Pros and cons

Pros: Hybrid calendar and task planning handles both fixed events and repeatable routines.
Pros: AI breaks ideas into steps and estimates duration on iOS and the web.
Pros: Visual, audio, font and profile controls support different working preferences.
Pros: Calendar imports include Google, iCloud and Outlook, with a Google connection workaround for Outlook and Exchange.
Cons: The free plan excludes the web app and offers only selected planning tools.
Cons: Android lacks the AI co-planner and iCloud calendar import.
Cons: Two Tiimo accounts cannot be merged.

Alternatives

Routine Planner Apps are the broader category to compare when repeatable schedules matter more than AI planning. For a general day-focused shortlist, see Daily Planner Apps; for task-first organization, compare To-do list apps.

Awakee is an iOS and macOS freemium option whose free download limits the number of routines and habits without a subscription. TimeBloc suits Android and iOS users wanting unlimited routines and calendars, advanced notifications and statistics on its Premium plan. Routime AI is a free Android, iOS and web alternative. Routinery offers two free routines and unlimited checklists, with paid monthly or annual Premium tiers. MyRoutine is an Android, iOS and macOS freemium choice. Spaced Repetition Tracker is aimed at subject- and topic-based study sessions. Thruday combines visual daily planning with priority lists, reminders, images, colors and breathing exercises. TimeTune is an Android option with time blocks, templates, statistics and custom reminders.

Verdict

Tiimo is a strong choice for anyone who wants a customizable visual planner with calendar integration, focus support and practical AI task breakdown. Its neurodivergent-friendly flexibility is its clearest advantage. Look elsewhere if you require the AI co-planner or iCloud import on Android, need the web app without Pro, or must combine two accounts.
