Overview

TierMaker is a tier-list creator for ranking items across almost any topic, with a large library of reusable templates. It suits people who want to publish or vote on visual rankings, especially on mobile. Its main limitation is that a browser-built photo list is a one-off download rather than a saved, shareable project.

Key features

TierMaker says its library contains millions of templates, and users can publish reusable templates for others. Lists support custom tier labels, images, public publishing and voting, giving creators a straightforward way to share a ranking and collect responses. A template can hold up to 3,000 images, while each upload is capped at 500 images and 50 MB; JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported. The overall image capacity is generous, but large collections may need to be uploaded in batches.

Logged-in users can make a single-use list from photos uploaded in a browser and download it. That is useful for a quick personal ranking, but it cannot be saved to a profile or shared by URL for others to make their own version. The mobile app adds quick-vote formats, saved templates, custom list sizing, text-to-image, and higher-resolution downloads without the TierMaker logo.

The template guide encourages creators to make broadly useful lists, suggesting they consider whether 100 or more people might want to use a template. It says content is moderated and prohibits NSFW material. Users can create an account with Twitter or Google login, and the guide directs support requests to email.

Pricing

The website plan costs 0.00 USD per free and covers desktop and mobile website use. It is the sensible starting point for browsing, creating and sharing lists on the web, but the Pro features—ad-free use, higher-quality downloads without the watermark, quick voting, custom sizing, saved templates and text-to-image—are not included.

TierMaker Pro Monthly costs 1.99 USD per month, while TierMaker Pro Annual costs 9.99 USD per year. Both include the same app and website features; annual billing is the lower-cost option for someone who expects to keep using Pro, while monthly billing avoids committing to a year. TierMaker Pro Lifetime costs 19.99 USD per once and includes those same features as a one-time purchase. The free trial is available, but its length and terms are not established here.

Platforms

TierMaker is available on the web, Android, iOS and macOS. The app is offered for Android and Apple devices; the free website plan covers desktop and mobile browser use.

Who it's for

TierMaker is a good fit for people who want a broad template library, image-heavy public lists, or mobile tools for voting and exporting. It is less suitable for a private photo ranking that needs to remain saved to an account or be shared for others to recreate. The privacy policy says TierMaker collects information users provide, including contact details, credentials and social-media login data, and may use service providers for hosting, payments and customer service. It says personal information need not be retained for more than six months after account termination, except where longer retention is required or permitted by law.
