Galaxy S4 Mini, S4 Zoom confirmed: Specifications and availability

The Galaxy S4 Mini is confirmed as a white variant on Samsung’s own Apps website in two different versions: GT-I9195 with HSPA+ and SGH-I257 with LTE. The listing was taken down soon after. This confirms not only the existence of the Smartphone but also its upcoming arrival as well.

The listing does not detail any specifications but we know from previous rumors that the Smartphone comes with a 4.3 inch qHD screen (720p in LTE version), a 1.6 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM (2 GB in LTE version), 8 MP rear camera, Android 4.2.2 and 2100 mAh battery.

In related news, the camera centric-phone Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom which was earlier revealed in Bluetooth SIG is now confirmed by UAProf on Samsung’s website. As per the previous rumors, the Smartphone will come with a 16 MP camera along with similar sensors which powers the Galaxy Camera. Specifications include a 4.3 inch qHD Super Amoled display, 16 GB internal storage, micro SD card extension up to 64 GB, WiFi, Bluetooth, AGPS and Android Jelly Bean.

The availability details on both of these Smartphones are not yet known but we know from previous rumors that they are both expected along with S4 Active which is the rugged variant of Galaxy S4 by the end of May. It seems very unlikely because that means within the next few days, we can expect official announcements. We’ll take that availability details with a pinch of salt and would put a higher probability on next month releases.

In related news to Samsung, the leakster evleaks has revealed a Galaxy Note 8.0 Brown Black variant. The twitter account of evleaks, which has been quite reliable and accurate in the past, has not released a name for this variant as yet, so take this with a pinch of salt until Samsung officially released it. There is a good chance that there might be more colors accompanying this one as Samsung is known to release multiple colors in a single announcement in the past.
