Hear your Lengthy Articles Read out Loud by Announcify

Relentless reading can tire your eyes and exhaust them. Still, if you have interest in reading more, an application that could simply read out loud various kinds of information, like events or whole documents, for you would be a great option. Announcify, a free and handy extension does exactly what is mentioned above.

It will let your tired eyes rest and at the same time, let you learn new stuff.  The application is similar to Chrome Speak that I had covered earlier but is much easier to use.

Unlike other text-to-speech extensions, the application does not require selection of any text, it simply reads out the whole web page for you. So, you can hear your lengthy articles read out loud when you don’t feel like exercising your eyes. The extension allows you to change the speed, pitch and volume of the read-aloud voice. Features like mute gestures, discreet mode and black- / white lists allow you to customize every detail. Also, you can reset it to defaults if you don’t like customizing it.

To use the application, you simply need to install it. Once completed, its icon is added right next to the URL field. In order to listen to an article, just click the button and your article will be opened in a new tab, ready to be read. Essence of the application is that it blurs the text that is not being read at present, therefore letting you focus on the current text only.

Announcify has already conquered Android phones and now aims at Google Chrome– The browser. So all the user is required to do is sit back and relax and listen to all those lengthy articles with Announcify. You can also get the Chrome extension of this application.
