Lenovo IdeaPad U410: A promising ultrabook

Lenovo, a well-known brand of ultrabooks has announced a new affordable and well-built ultrabook – Lenovo IdeaPad U410. Either you are a Geek or a normal user this ultrabook is suitable to all. The ultrabook has been announced worldwide but it is not available at stores till now but according to the company it would be made available soon. So let’s have a look on what’s inside this affordable ultrabook.


U410 is having a screen size of 14 inches which makes the device weight around 1.8 Kg (including batteries). We would have considered the device more portable if the weight and screen size both would have been slightly reduced. The dimensions of U410 are 344x235x21 mm. The machine is very slim, it is easy to hold and easy to carry.


It is powered by 2nd Generation Intel Core i3 processor family. To keep your tasks running the ultrabook comes with 4 GB DDR3 RAM which can be upgraded up to 8 GB DDR3 memory. As far as the graphics are concerned, U410 comes with a pre-installed NVIDIA GeForce 610M 1GB graphics card which makes your gaming or movie experience better on it.

To store up your data, this ultrabook comes in three variants that are 500 GB, 750 GB and 1 TB disk space. You can choose your ultrabook’s hardisk according to your needs. While you can live up to a day without eating food then why your ultrabook can’t do! IdeaPad U410 comes with a 3 Cell Battery which gives you up to 9 hours of productive usage which is a very good feature in this ultrabook.


The ultrabook is having all the major connectivity options that are required in a device. To keep you always connected to internet, the ultrabook has many integrated communication options such as 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a 10/100m LAN RJ 45 Connector. The AccuType keyboard with keys having rounded corners makes it easy for your fingers to run over them and type each and every long document in just minutes.
