Lenovo ThinkPad X200 – The good and the bad

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X200 has earned mixed reactions from across the world. Some experts have appreciated it but there are strong criticisms against it too. Experts feel that its overall appearances is really impressive but there are complaints about its connectivity and performance.

As per reviews of nearly 135 magazines and websites users gave 80/100 and experts gave 81/100 to the ThinkPad X200 of Lenovo. It has impressive features like sleek design, 12.1” WXGA display etc.

Depending on its overall performance the positives of this machine are as follows:

  • Plenty of FSB speed in RAM and space in Hard disk

Never the less, users often complain that the machine is too heavy to handle and they don’t get the value for their money. Some even say, “The worst computer I have seen”. Now that’s really too much.  There may be some complaints about the gadget but the overall scenario is not that dull. There are users who think that it has a hard body, impressive bi-directional hinge and sharp resolution.

Basically, the problem with is machine is that it lacks some basic features like –

  • Touch pad
  • Optical drive.

Now, if one believes in reputation of Lenovo and prepared to stick to it, then it’s hard to break the nut. But like any other gadget savvy person, sometimes it’s better to believe in ground reality rather than expectations.
