List of the Slim Smartphones and Tablets introduced at the CES, 2012

The first day of the CES, 2012 hosted some incredible gadgets and there were three gadgets featuring as the thinnest and the lightest gadgets in CES. All the thinnest and lightest gadgets which were introduced at the CES,2012 run with the Android operating system, among the three gadgets unveiled at the CES,2012 where one is the tablet PC and the rest of the two are the smartphones from the different companies. Let us see which brands have introduced the Super-slim smartphones and tablets at the CES fair.

Motorola Droid 4 is high-end smartphone from the Motorola which is featured as one of the slim smartphone at the CES this year. The smartphone is known as the successor of the Droid 3 where the features of it include are 4inch qHD display, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 8MP camera with 1080p HD video capturing. This has a QWERTY keypad, where it is shipped with the Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS and has a promise to upgrade it to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Huawei has introduced two Android smartphones at the CES 2012 – Ascend P1 S and Ascend P1. Among these two Ascend P1 S is featured as the thinnest smartphone which measures just 6.68mm thickness and runs with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, this can work on the LTE carrier.

The features of this are a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED touchscreen display, dual-core 1.5GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 mobile processor, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM and a 8MP primary camera with the 1080p video recorder. The Huawei also confirmed that they could be released in the second quarter of this year.

Toshiba Excite X10 is been touted as the slimmest and lightest tablet of the world which measures just 7.7 mm. Toshiba has introduced two tablets at the CES,2012 which runs with the Android operating system. The Excite X10 is powered with the Android 3.2 Honeycomb and it is featured with the 10.1inch LED display, 1.2GHz processor and the 5MP camera. Toshiba has made debut into the CES by introducing its tablet and it is expected the tablet could be released sometime at the first quarter of this year.
