Nokia launches Asha 303 in India: Specs and Overview!

The much anticipated Nokia Asha 303 has been launched in India. Asha 303 is a budget phone that offers Touch & Type, 3G and lot more. And good news for Vodafone Customers, the Vodafone is giving 1 GB internet data for free with this phone.


Coming to the Specs, the phone has dimensions of 116.5 x 55.7 x 13.9 mm, 72 cc and weighs 99 g. And since the phone is categorized as Touch and Type, it comes with a TFT capacitive touchscreen (256K colors) and a QWERTY keyboard. The screen size is 2.6 Inches and has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. In addition, the phone is powered by a 1 GHz processor to give your phone a dazzling speed.

Next, Nokia Asha offers 170 MB of internal memory, out of which 100 MB is available to user. The phone is powered by a 256 MB ROM and features 128 MB RAM.  In the internet/data factor the phone offers Class 33 GPRS and Class 32 EDGE whose speed can be increased up to HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2 Mbps.

For networking, the phone offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR. For USB connections, the phone offers microUSB v2.0, HS with USB On-the-go support.

For multimedia purpose, this phone is really awesome. It gives you get 3.2 MP camera with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels which even shows support for face detection. The phone also has a good at battery backup, as it is powered by a Standard battery, Li-Ion 1300 mAh (BP-3L) which offers up to 720 h (2G) / Up to 840 h (3G) of standby time and a talk time of Up to 8 h 10 min (2G) / Up to 7 h 10 min (3G).

The one thing we disliked was that is the phone doesn’t come with a GPS, which is a must these days.
